Amen, Steve-O. I barely scrape myself down the stairs to eat these days.

I can understand why JT wouldn't want to walk, but for fucks sake Steve, don't you play some sports? A small little walk, or hell, even a jog down the block shouldn't even break a sweat for you.
Here, I've got an idea... after your next rental experience, I will send a fat black man.... no wait, you'd enjoy that. A fat Chinese woman to chase you until you return it. You can still take as long as you'd like, but at least you would get SOME exercise. And to add a little honey to the pot, if theres an ice cream truck going by, you'll get a break.

Hey now, it's a common misnomer that all athletes are in fact, athletes.
Look at John Daly, John Kruk, David Wells, (Insert NFL lineman here), and a variety of other pudgy and cherub-like sportsman.
I happen to not look anything like that, but hey it is what it is.
And fat black men and fat Chinese women? WHERE DO I SIGN UP!??!?!??@#%@!!

I don't understand 2 things about soccer/football/whatever.
First, why did it never catch on in the US? I mean the US was basically settled by all Europeans who I'm sure liked the sport back then. So how the game get lost in translation?
Second, how did Americans get around to calling the game soccer? I understand that about as much as I understand why American football is called football. I don't get the connection between the word "soccer" and the game itself.

Really? I thought the game was older than America. But even still, America was under such a huge Euro influence for the first 100 or so years that you would think that the game would make it's way over here... even if it were invented in say, 1820.

Yeah but we still had a huge Euro influence. Not to mention that about 90% of the people in this country up until about 1890ish came from Europe. Still strikes me as odd.
