Well, I think Orton deserves the World Heavyweight championship even more after reading what I had to say . Brock got pushed to quickly, but somehow, it worked for him. Angle got pushed more quickly, and he is practically one of the best superstars in the history of the wee. Orton started out Jobbing to people, when he could have at least opened Smackdown! Then he went to Raw, and I have to say his injury was great. He had a little time to train, and learn more great moves. He then came back and joined a newly made group. Evolution. Of course, Evolution failed, that time. Orton and Batista were away and I admit, I don't know where they were. Raw, Triple H/Kevin Nash feud, a man with a ski mask pelted Nash with steel chair, unmasked in the ring and Evolution were back. Orton had a few matches, then at Bad Blood cost Shawn Micheals a match to Flair. You don't just come out of nowhere and screw HBK, so the wwe had plans. Eventually, he lost to Goldberg on Raw, but there was nothing wrong there, Goldberg was a rising superstar, and again, got a push before him. It was at Summerslam when he got his first PPV Main Event action. he took on HBK, Goldberg, Jericho, Nash and Triple H. His purpose, help Triple H? No, to yet again job to Goldberg. Oh, and before I forget, who made Kane lost to Triple H, therefor making him unmask, Randy Orton. Finally, after a couple of months, Orton faced HBK at Vengeance. Orton did great, but so did HBK. The wwe's project of putting Young superstars over came to work, and Orton got the deserving win. At Survivor Series, Orton got in the finals of the 5 man elimination match. Him and a hard working HBK. They both did great. Batista then came and screwed Micheals, as Orton got the 3 count, that put Austin out of action. Batista and Orton got the push. At Armageddon, Orton defeated RVD for the IC championship, in a great match. Orton had got pushed even more, but was it enough? Orton was entered in the rumble and did a great job, though he never won. Orton has so far done great, and at Mania put on an even better performance, killing off the legend Mick Foley. But no, Foley haddn't died yet, He lived to fight in an amazing hardcore match against Orton, but then faded away, as Orton got the vital 3 count. Now, after that performance, Orton gained the respect of millions, including me. Orton then had a feud with Shelton, and instead of him getting pushed, It was Shelton getting the push Wow, that time already. Shelton won his few matches, but Orton kept the gold. Orton then dropped his title to Edge, who was also being pushed, so no harm done. But now, were here. The title shot. Yes, It's Orton's time, it's his time to go over. If you have read all of this, I thank you, and I hope it makes you realize that it's Orton's time.

I agree. I can see Trips asking Orton for the title shot at Summerslam and Orton not wanting to give it to him or Orton saying he'll deliver the belt to Evolution making Trips think he means to him......thus causing a power trip when Orton wins the belt and becoming the leader of Evolution. I can also see Orton and Batista dropping HHH and possibly Flair saying Evolution has passed you by, after SummerSlam.....But who would join them if HHH and Flair left?

what i think will happen
orton wins, hhh congratulates him then orderes one of evolution to do something and orton pipes up with "i am the leader of evolution now", that type of thing and either they turn on hhh or the turn on orton, thus, the break up of evolution begins!

I don't think Evolution will break up just now. It's going so well.
As for Orton winning, I think he will. Does he deserve it? I really can't decide just now. He is coming on really well, but I don't know if he is ready.

I think thats about right. I also think Hunter will lose to Eugene.... I think Orton will rip on Hunter for losing to Eugene on Raw the following night and brag about his newly won World Title.

The power shift Im okay with
personally I do prefer Trip when he is chasing the title, as to when he has it.
I think Orton will drop the title to HHH though (maybe before October, if not during their UK Raw show would be nice)

It's funny how Maven has been there longer than Orton has. Yet he has gone no where and Orton is heading into one of the biggest PPVs of the year with a title shot and possibly a title win.

It's not funny in the slightest. The fact that Maven is and always will be green plays a big part in the whole push issue. Orton, while not the best wrestler around, has shown alot of potential. His charisam has doubled, perhaps tripled since his debut. Where-as Maven, as much as I hold out hope for him, has failed to progress in the slightest since his Tough Enough days.

Other Tough Enough Winners/Contestants have gone on to pretty good things: Jackie Gayda, Linda Miles, Nidia, Chris Nowinski and maybe Johnny Nitro. Maven just hasn't got any talent/charisma or the WWE just can't find anything to do with the poor guy.

Jackie Gayda is used sparingly. Miles was sent back to OVW, spelling the end of the Bashams push. Johnny Nitro has disappeared from RAW, where-as Nowinski will probably never wrestle again. And Nidia just doesn't cut it in wrestling in the slightest.
Tough Enough hands people contracts when they do not deserve it, when peole like Spanky, London, Kidman, Ultimo Dragon etc. had to fight for their futures, even though they are great in the ring.
Maven was given the golden key to unlock his future and, even with the potential that he has, he just hasn't been able to fit the key in the door. It's as simple as that.
Orton came from OVW and has never looked back. That is the difference between all the people you listed and Randy.

Yes, I agree. Didn't Nowinski suffer a concussion or something?
Anyway to get back on subject I'd be happy and upset if Orton wins the title.
Happy: Because I like Orton and I'd be glad for him to become the youngest World Heavyweight Champion of all time.
Upset: I like Orton but not as much as Kane or Triple H. If Orton wins this title this to me is a sign that Orton is somehow better than these 2 grapplers and IMO that's not a fact.

Hmmm. Both Trips and Kane are involved in different programmes right now. If Orton wins the title, it just means he was available at the time.
And yes, Nowinski did suffer a concussion, but he has been having more and more difficulties in his bid to return.

Talking about Nitro, are we? After he gets a little better in the ring, they should send him to Smackdown, with a half decant gimmick.
