she looks a bit squashed in the main pic, though.

Cheers for the cheers, Cactus.
I know what you mean about the main pic, Eez. I just couldn't get the re-size right for some reason. I'm going through a really bad spell with sigs at the moment. I just can't do anything I like.

the sig is good - the idea is there.... just do what i do. cheat.
you don't need to use the whole pic of jessica alba. the bigger the pic of her, and less of her you use in the sig, the better the sig will look.
i'm always on aim if you need help with anything.

I see you continue with the gimmick. Nice sig though, Rocky, as usual.
My only complaint is that the 2 looks like a Z.

That particular font uses the same character for both Z and 2. I think it looks nifty.

I like it. That background looks really cool.
Maybe it's just me, but the girl looks a little squashed. Maybe it's just the darkness on the side of her face as you blended the layers together.
The font doesn't seem to go, though (welcome to the problem we all have). For starters, it's hard to read. But the main thing is, it's all smooth and rounded, while your background is crisp and clean. I think something with some straighter lines would look better.
Still, it's an eye-catcher, and well done overall.

You listed two of my main problems.
1) Fonts... nuff said. 2) To me, the girl doesn't look squashed, but, as with a few of my things, people have said otherwise, so the main subject must often be.
Do you mean squashed vertically or horizontally? Or, knowing my luck, both?

To me it's horizonal, yet only in the face. It may just be an optical illusion, due to the left side of the face / hair being so dark, as compared to the other side.

Cool. I'll work on a few things later, see if I can't get her looking as hot as she should be!
Thanks Warlock.

here's what i had to say about this sig at TWH
she does look a little squashed. i reckon it's cos you want her to fill as much of the sig as possible, yet you want to show as much as possible. to do this you're using the "Free Transform" tool... if i was you i'd just either use less of her body but a larger image in the sig, or, resize her before you transfer her onto your background - keeping the original dimensions.
personally, i'd like to see a bigger image of her with less of her body, but then, looking at how i make sigs, i reckon thats pretty obvious.

Thanks Eezer.
I always wanted to do a sig with her, but always forgot to do so...

I like it. It's a nice use of different hues.
Also, I think you could use the Eye section as a nice matching avatar, if you wanted to.

Thanks Warlock. I used your idea for an avatar also: I'm not really an avatar person, so I don't know if it's any good.

Looks good Rock. IMO, the avatar doesn't need to be as overwhelming as the sig...more like an enticement that makes you want to look at the sig in more detail (assuming you want a matching avatar).
So, kudos on the combo: I think they work well together.

Thanks man.
I'd never thought about doing an avatar for my sigs before. I may try some things out after my next one, see if I can't through something semi-decent together to wear with the sig.
