I have a VERY small list of wresting sites I take seriously. Such as? So did people just forget about those 4 years when Hogan called them trash, and hoped the kids choked on their vitamins? I hope you don't mean the late 80's, because they sucked. Shawn was in the wwe when it was getting it's highest ratings, and Hogan was in that other company, calling people crap.

^^ Uh... wasn't that supposed to be his job as a heel? I know WCW was one big fuck-up with fuck-up after fuck-up and people trying to make shoots, but I don't think he'd mean that, especially when he's playing a heel character.

Yeah, but at a wwe event you would cheer for all the face's even if you hated them, cause of the atmosphere. And it's exciting to see them in real life, hell I cheered for Cena at the last WWE event I when to. (June 18th) ^ not necessarily true. I never cheer for all the faces. In fact not many faces I cheer for. I'm not defending Hogan. He is a good entertainer...never said wrestler. I'd rather see HBK vs Angle 2. I just like Hogan's entrance.

Yeah, but when he went back to face, people had just acted as that whole heel run never happened. A good heel could never turn face, their are just some things that shouldn't be forgiven.

It's like Flair. He is one of the best heels, and he still gets cheered out of respect, as does Hogan.
Now, the only thinI'l need to say to Eco is that having just ideal faces and heels like you seem to want would get boring fast. Hell, you mentioned The Rock, adn he was far from an ideal face. If anything, he was like Austin, and played the heel part and talked like a heel when he was a face. But, I'm glad to have people who are confusing, but for a legend to come back to just gain victories is wrong, adn it's a lack of respect for doing what's right for business. Sure, HBK is already in a state where he can't lose credibility, but he will be around after Summerslam, and Hogan won't until he pops in AGAIN. So, HBK's character needs the win more.

Hogan's return this time suits him, for his TV show, and Vince, for the PPV buy rates he gets. Putting Hogan in with Eugene in a tag match, dont get fans in the arena, nor people at home ordering
Put him against HBK, have HBK piss on his career, and what do you get, people wanting to watch Hogan lose.
Why? Easy, Hogan was the top face in history. At wCw, I'm sorry, he was a shit heel. I mean this guy had cheers piped in arenas when he was a face at wCw!
Hogan was never going to be a convincing heel, because of what had gone from 1984 to that moment. All he did was take the face Hogan, deepen his voice a bit, and paint a black beard on! He looked like a rejected extra from Pirates of the Carribean!
Having HBK belittle his career is a hell of a plan, because he is the only man to do it, and get enough heat from it. I mean Montreal.......... Genius. Okay I know it took up quarter of the show, but it worked for me, it was entertaining, funny, and a hint of seriousness, that made you question for a second if this was another shoot.
When Bret's music hit, I can think of one guy I know (*coughs Kaos*) who will have wet himself (if he hadnt read the spoilers), then he would have been pissed off, to know he had been played.
HBK works this storyline perfectly, and I cant see anything but an HBK win from this match. HBK has carried this storyline, Hogan has appeared, but more as cameos. Hell, I'm sorry but if you are the main event of a major PPV, you put in a bit more work, than 10 minutes on a mic, a run in to help a mid-carder, and a lame ass tap out.
For HBK's work-rate alone he should be given the nod. I know people say Hogan's name alone makes people buy the PPV, but if I was new to WWE, I would want to know why all the fuss about Hogan. If I was a noob to all this, all I would see is an old man trying to relive the past, against a young man who knows he can win. If I was a new guy, I'd be picking HBK in my win list.

BUT--- with recent news about talks between Vince and Hart could HBK lose from interference from the "Hitman?"

^^ Thats gay. Bret/Michaels is a huge feud, and shouldn't be associated with HBK/Hogan, a whole different scenerio. If anything, a confrontation should happen on an episode of Raw, not some sort've cheap run in.
And the current rumor going around is HHH COULD make an appearance to cost Hogan the match and set up Hogan/HHH for Unforgiven, so HHH can begin the second tenure as Legend Killer [Credit Gerweck on that one].

Hogan going over here will not hurt HBK. Hopefully, HBK v. Cena is up next and a title change at that. Word. If anyone has seen the unforgiven poster it has given the main event away. It's not that bad! Highlight for spoiler! Cena vs Angle at Unforgiven!Sweet, he's my hero. Favorite Wrestler in the World and it's about damn time he held the WWE Championship again! Anyways I think HBK/HHH vs. Hogan/Mystery Partner is probably what's next on the plate.

Mark my words, Cena will not lose the title until he faces HHH I said I wanted HHH back, but I didn't say I wanted him back in the title picture. This break has been refreshing. Raw may not be anything special lately, but its been great not having him always chasing after the title every, single, show. Cena needs to lose it to Edge, but if not Edge, Angle as the back-up pick.

Mark my words, Cena will not lose the title until he faces HHH Angle as the back-up pick. Your not going to have to wait long. But it's great, Triple H not being on Raw. But Triple H is 10x better to watch compared to Hogan.

Tonight's Raw was pretty good.
It started off great with a nice little start to what I guess will be a Masters/HBK fued. This should od wonders for Masters. Then a good match between Shelton and Angle.
The middle of the show was pretty slow, but hte main event went pretty well. And is it just me, or was the first FU Cena delivered the best he ever has? I mean, he shoul always flop down to the side like he did the first time.
Overall, it was a better than average Raw.

I thought they were gonna do something clever for the main event, having Bischoff betraying Y2J and then doing something with Cena, turning him heel. But that would never happen.
Angle/ Shelton was too short but what they did was great. Can't wait for their feud.
IMO the HBK/ Masters thing was well done but pointless. Why is HBK going from feuding with a legend to feuding with someone who hasn't had a feud ever. They should have used the credibility HBK has coming out of a good match and great feud and put him in a program with someone like Shelton, therefore keeping HBK heel. Hopefully this is all some sort of ploy and HBK & Masters planned this or something, but the writing team can't write anything complex now can they.
What was the point of the Diva trade? probably just a way to keep Christy away from Ashley but Trish should have come out and done something, instead of Torrie & Cnadice attacking Ashley. I thought WWE were actually being clever with the trade, trying to make up for Hassan dying, giving SD! someone like Kane. But instead SD! get Stacy & Christy.

I thought they were gonna do something clever for the main event, having Bischoff betraying Y2J and then doing something with Cena, turning him heel. But that would never happen. ^ That was exactly what I was thinkin'. It would have been a smart thing to do. They had their chance to turn Cena heel, and they blew it. If they had done that Jericho could come back as a face, win the rumble, and then face cena at Mania. But Hassan is also "Fired" so they could be a Hassan/Y2J switch.

Good point. Now that Raw has Carlito's lame ass "talk show"... Y2J can bring the reel to SD!

SD! has the "Peep Show" now though.

But come on it's crap. The reel is way better than the peep show or the cabana. But I don't want to Y2J to go to SD!. Raw is Jericho!.

Any way if Christian is turning face then there might not be many peep shows. The talk show segment is for the Carasmatic Heels.

Not anymore. And with the whole HBK/Masters bit, I think it's same to say that another heel just got tossed out the window. I wonder if the man is coming back soon.

Hopefully the HBK/Masters thing is just some devious plan. Hopefully. It's a bit lame having a one month heel run and then just turning back to the gay dancer HBK.
