Micko - Just because he hasn't been in the world title scene for 2 years, doesn't mean he deserves to be. When was the last time he had a good match one on one? i dont mean he should be in the picture solely because he hasnt been in it for ages, i was merely pointing out he hasnt held the title for that long. however i do believe he should be in the title picture again, i dont want him to win it again, as stated in this thread, i prefer him chasing the title, but i believe he brings a certain something when he is chasing the belt

Hunter being the main focus of the Wrestlemania 23 poster makes me believe he was suppose to win the belt from Cena at Mania, possibly in a triple threat with HBK and the champ. You know his ego is killing him for not having a spot on the show. Surely he'll make up for this by winning one of the World Titles upon his return.

Looking back at all the posts, deep down we all know HHH, title or not, DX or not means ratings jump up
Besides, he's going to slap Orton around anyway, I fail to see a down side to this.
DX was fun, and Hx3 knows worst he will be with the fans now is a tweener, so let him run with it. I mean whats the alternative, have Mr McMahon come back?

Agreed. Anytime that Triple H can smack around Orton, its a good thing. I just wish that they hadn't traded away Khali. I think it be funny to see how Trips would act towards him. Would he sell Khali or would he no sell all his moves and hit him with a pedigree and declare himself the new giant killer? But I have always been a fan of Triple H. I even bought one of his shirts when i went down to see him wrestle the Rock at the Blacklash ppv when it was in DC. Believe me it was a sight seeing Stone Cold drag that bus into the arena. Now I know that some people are gonna complain about him holding the title for long periods of time, but did anyone complain when people like Hogan held the title for 4 + yrs back in the 80's? Actually I think the title holds more prestique if the titleholder holds onto it for a long amount of time. People come to see if that night is the night he loses the belt. If the title changes hands more frequently, people will be like, why bother going to see that match? You know the belt is changing hands.

When HHH held the title for almost a year, people went to the arenas, watched Raw, bought the PPV's because they didnt want to miss the night HHH finally lost the title. That was the whole appeal of what became known as the "Reign of Terror"
Thing is, everyone bangs on about how long he held the title for, but we all conveniently forget that Cena has now become the longest reigning WWE Champ in a decade. He took over from JBL last week, and is now closing in on Kevin "Diesel" Nash as being a 12 month champion.
Me thinks we dont mind the long reigns so much when a face holds the title.

I am not a hunter fan, but from a marketing POV the wwe needs him to chase cena for a couple of ppv's to build up the dropping of the title then let him run with it
