Backlash is shaping up decently this year. I'm ecstatic we're not going to have HHH vs. Cean part 2.
I'm going to this PPV, and I will be rooting for Edge. I will also be among the people in the arena who get to witness God wrestle for the first time ever.

I added a new match, as confirmed on WWE.com, Mickie/Trish III. The mixed up names were intended.

I hope Trish continues to dress like Mickie James. She kept on bouncing up and down and showing us that nice ass of hers. ;D
Anyone else notice how Edge made this feud interesting. It went from boring, pre-mania, to great, post-mania. Edge for champion.
So is Carlito the face or is Masters the face?

Any idea who "God" could be?
Some refer to him as "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan. "Foley is God" has even been said in the past. Who could it be now?

Considering the pyrotechnics on Raw, I think they're actually going to play it out as God himself.
Shelton vs. RVD will steal the show

Anybody out there think Edge has a legit shot at taking the main event? I was watching the Today show last week and John Cena's spinning title was fetaured. Even though the fans hate this man to death, the E is making boatload of money from Cena. Just hard to imagine they'd pull the title off him considering his current market value.

i rent every RAW PPV, sometimes with SD! i dont even bother, i was all excited about armeggeddon, and the main event was horrible, and boring, i really was hoping Orton would get Chokeslammed, or have his Last Ride through the top of the cell.

It was an ok ppv, i enjoyed the Carlito, Masters match. Carlito putting on the masterlock, sheer comedy.
But Cena, still champ.... will this idiot ever loose the strap

WWE Championship -3 Way Dance- John Cena [c] vs. Triple H vs. Edge Thoughts: Actually a decent match- but bar a lot of HHH bloodshed and a few big moves, played out like a TV main event. Personally, I never felt once in the entire match that Cena's reign was in trouble and you could see the third man breaking up things coming a lot- Although some were pretty unique. Good, but not great.
Handicap/Tag Team Match The McMahon's [Vince & Shane] vs. Shawn Michaels & "God" I actually found the Vince talking to God bits funny- God getting "jiggy wid it" will remain classic. A few nice high spots, although the fact that after having the same thing happen at Wrestlemania, the fact Shawn hasn't found anyone to watch his back with the Spirit Squad makes him look pretty dumb.
Grudge Match Carlito vs. Chris Masters Comments: Good opener- Masters was never anything exciting on the offence, but Carlito did some impressive looking moves, and has a bright future for sure. Looking forward to a rematch.
WWE Women's Championship Mickie Stratus [c] vs. Trish James Comments: Actually quite a good women's match. Shame that Trish got injured, causing the match to end suddenly with a DQ, but it at least sets up the re-re-rematch.
WWE Intercontinental Championship vs. Money In the Bank -Winner Take All- Shelton Benjamin [c] vs. RVD Comments: Good highflying match for the most part, nicely paced and had some very cool reversals. Now we'll have to wait and see how RVD with MITB and the IC title plays out.
Grudge Match Kane vs. The Big Show (No Contest? They never said what happened, although maybe DQ from Big Show's chairshot) Comments: Terrible match with an odd ending- Probably leading somewhere, but Kane needs to be involved in matches that make him look good really. Worst thing is, this may be leading to a rematch...
Singles Match Umaga vs. Ric Flair Comments: Too quick to really judge- It has put Umaga over huge, but they need to really get him doing something quickly. Flair's credibility is now slowly disappearing, so maybe he is retiring soon.
And Eugene in Striker's classroom is great. I love Striker, if only because he slightly reminds me of... me. And seeing "Matt Striker Loves Poop" at 3:20 in the morning did manage to make me laugh.
Overall, a nice show, but really just a way for the WWE to get feuds over for the next few months.

And, here are some LIVE notes. I was a lot closer to the ring than I thought I would be.
LOUDEST POPS[/u] HBK (it might've been the fact that it came out of nowhere, but he had the loudest by far) HHH (At the very end when they made you think he was definetly going to win, and then the worst ending in history) Cena (His entrance was pretty deafening. He was boo'ed after that, obviously) RVD (during his match when he lept up for the Frog Splash the last time)
HM: Ric Flair, Jerry Lawler (kentucky home crowd)
BIGGEST HEAT Kane's pyro (Ok, this is a joke, but I was on the other end of the arena from the entrance, and it was seriously very very hot even where I was) Vince McMahon (During the match about halfway through, he started getting boo'ed pretty loudly) Cena (During the match)
HM: Edge, the ending to the main event
To be honest, nobody was boo'ed that bad.
OTHER NOTES[/u]
HBK's dive from the ladder was unexpected, and looked like he fell live. It was very sick looking, and a couple of the guys around me gasped, even sparking an "oh shit!" from my friend. The Spirit Squad's finisher also looked sick.
RVD/Shelton was the best match. RVD's pop from his pyro is very loud live. The Frog Splash is a lot better on tv.
Matt Striker is the man. Enough said.
After the ppv went off, or when I assume it did, Cena got up and did what he always does. Talked about his mixed reaction, and then said something like "And, regardless of what you think of me, thanks for coming to the show, the WWE and myself really appreciate it. You guys were great, and we'll have to come back to Lexington more often than we have been"
Crowd was very lively, so I hope they make good on that.

I didn't really care for the PPV. From the looks of things, it seems to be a really bad PPV, even for Raw.
