But it would be SOOOO fuckin easy. I could do it as a medic OR a sniper. Close or Far range weapons classes it makes no difference. He is not lying, i am ok at it, Reaper is on a kill ratio of about 10 - 1 with me

Snipers are pussies. Get yer ass in the fight and shoot someone in point-blank range.

Honestly, sniping takes far more skill than you can imagine, even more so in this game where theres really no place to hide. And I have more points as a medic than I do as a sniper I believe...or its close, so I do plenty of the "getting in there and fighting" They only have a shotgun.

Yeah, it's harder to snipe in CoD3. I was referring to Halo 2.

Halo 2 is laced with so many glitches, I wouldn't be surprised if you could see through and snipe through walls... but thats just me venting on it after I've seen many a video on glitches.

Just started playing Call of Duty 3 today. In most shoot-em up games, I can run straight into the fight and take people out. Not with this game. I gotta learn patience and not look for a quick run thru a mission. I am slowly learning it. Right now I am on the second mission, and discovered the sniper rifle during the flank the allies portion of the mission. At least I think that was the objective at that point.
Hopefully I can get better and come online and have Reaper shoot me in the back like he does with Cactus and JT.

Well i went ahead and downloaded the new maps. After just walking thru them, I will have to say that if i get the chance, the fuel factory looks to be the most fun map to play in. Got alot of nice little corners you can hide in and take shots at people.

I take back what I said about sniping in CoD3. Most of my sniper-related angst is derived from Halo 2. CoD3 takes skill.

Fuel Plant is good, but Ironclad is probably one of the best. Wildwood COULD have been sweet, but it got fucked because of the tanks. Stalag is pretty decent for a lot of close combat, with all of the buildings and such, but watch for roof hoppers. The Crossing is nifty for Capture the flag, but anything else and its a clusterfuck. Bourgade is actually better than I'd first thought, with the roof access and many buildings that allow for a snipe fest.
If you really want to agonize yourself, find a Battle at Ironclad with anywhere from 10 people to 24. The part of the map you can't access regularly, where the ship is, well that little area over there is your battleground. 2 sections with an upstairs that doesn't matter and some tunnel ways... and that equates to you trying to get more than 1 kill in without being taken down yourself. Insanity is a good way to describe it.... or chaos.

Cactus hates playing agaist me in the Castle. He doesn't get the chance to stick around in his "safe spot" for long, because chances are I execute that fucker with a shotgun blast to the head.
