One thing I want to See at Summerslam is Edge jobbing as his outdated gimmick is boring.
I would like to see Orton win the title as Benoit is starting to get really boring as a champion.

Orton and Benoit just have to headline the show. Raw has stronger ratings, more peopel watch it, more peopel are into that match, it will headlinbe the card. Plus, that heidenrike guys gonna interfere in JBL/Taker match and that match would be a 10 minute match tops. theres nothing they can do to make that match a godo one. Benoit and orton can easily go 30min, therefore teh longer and better pair will get teh main event spot.

Hey there. This is Rocky from Micko's computer. I have to say, that Summer Slam was one of the worst PPV's I have ever seen. There was no real saving grace about it. The ONLY good thing to come out of the event was Orton winning the belt. And you just know by the handshake and his celebration, that he practically has just turned face.
Even the Angle/Guererro match was pretty poor, by their own standards at least.

Yeah, SummerSlam was a disappoinotment. No Evolution members present when Orton won the title.....interesting. Also saw some Decepticon signs!

I didn't think it was too bad of a ppv. It should've been better, being Summerslam, but it wasn't piss poor.
It definetly topped Vengeance, Judgement Day, and the Great American Bash.

It definitely wasn't the greatest, but it surely wasn't the worst. Orton/Benoit definitely put on the best match of the evening. Orton face turn ? Hope not. Angle/Guererro sucked, what happened ? I thought that would have stole the show. Eugene got booed, which was surprising. I don't think this gimmick will go much further anyway. Kane surprisingly sloppy, with the exception of that top rope chokeslam which was the daddy ! Undertaker/JBL - quite entertaining, but the chokeslam through limo roof blew, mainly because you could tell the part of the roof JBL bumped through was considerably thinner than the rest of the roof. Edge won  All-in-all, I'd give Summerslam a 6.5/7 out of 10 rating for not being too shabby, although there is definite room for improvement.  |

I would give it a 5/10. So many matches should have been so much better. I think this is one of the best cards the WWE has put out in a while and they just couldn't get it right.
On a semi-related note, have you read that a fan jumped out on the limo during the JBL/Taker match. He got pretty close to the weakened spot where the chokeslam was to happen. If he had went straight through it, that would have been a very bad thing for the WWE.

Id (just) give the PPV a 4.5
I slept thru most of it, given it started at 1am BST, and I had been drinking all day on an empty stomach, I think I did well.
Even when loaded with beer however, I can stay awake when the PPV is good.
This just didnt do the job for me
