Welcome to E2's Wrestling Joint. This is a thread where I will voice my thoughts and opinions concerning the number one e-fed on the Internet, P2PW. I am also inviting anyone involved in the P2PW e-fed to share character concerns, as well things that are on their mind in regards to our e-fed. Feedback from newbies like _the j-man, NIN, Spackle, lockjaw, SIMZ, Funamie and Aladdin will be regarded highly because you are the future of this organization. But I also encourage vets such as Nation, Soundscream, Soul Reaper, Trent, Cactus, ChadClassic, Red Ninja, Da Man, Gormy and SoL to participate. You have been around longer and no more about the way things work. And I have also received some damn good advice from just about everyone mentioned, especially Cactus, Da Man, Gormy and Nation. Oh and Micko is invited too. And most importantly, the gentlemen upstairs are always welcome. By gentlemen upstairs I mean Rocky, Stare and my bestest e-buddy in the whole wide world, Shinns Theory. With that being said, I would like to share something with you:
That was a PM sent to me from Nation and I have to say it was some of the finest advice I have ever received here. We truly have a class act for a World Champion right now, and that will reflect positively on us all.
But let me shut the fuck up about my shit and lets get to our first topic of discussion. I don't know why this still bothers me until this day, but I feel as if the Undisputed Internet Championship Title match between E2 and Shinns Theory was rushed and not given proper spotlight. Given the fact that E2 and Shinns were at each other from day one (meaning E2's debut in December), I would have thought the title match worthy of PPV. Instead, it was rushed on TNT, and as a result, E2's title run was a joke and he was laughed at from all angles.
1. Do you think the E2/Shinns feud was rushed and cut short?
2. Do you think E2's Undisputed Internet Championship title reign was a joke?
3. If the stuyline were in your hands, what would you have done differently? How would you have written the stuyline?
This is where I need your feedback: I am in the process of changing my character and style and I would like you to share some suggestions openly, in our forum.
1. Do you think the E2 character was degenerated from what it once was?
2. Do you even like the E2 character?
3. If you were Elijah Edwards and this is your character, what improvements would you make? What would you change?
4. How do you feel about E2 going off the deepend at times? Are there things that I do to rub you the wrong way or are there things you would like to see more of?
The floor is yours playas.......

First of all, I like this thread. Sweet idea Elijah. 1 - I agree that the match was PPV material. However, with a huge PPV coming up, we needed to crame some things in quickly. So, yes it was rushed.
Was it cut short? It's still a hot topic. Therefore, I believe this fued has only just began.
2 - I don't think your title run was a joke. You earned that title from one of the best. You came her and was immediately put into a hard place to be put in as a new member. That should speak for itself.
3 - I'll leave this for the others.
1 - I think "The One Man Killing Machine" motto doesn't fit in well with your character, as it stands. Before you were active, I had you "invading" and causing mayhem backstage. Once you debuted, you did well. However, your promos didn't quite reflect the way I thought your character was. You became very cartoon.
2 - I like the "One Man Killing Machine". He is a controversial character.
3 - If I were E.E. and had to change the E2 character, I wouldn't do much. I would tweek it a little. Like I said above, being controversial and a backstage problem for P2PW Management is how I thought you were going to be: a black Austin, if you will. When writing I would push the envelop a bit. Make the reader say "Holy fuck! Did E2 really just say that?". That evidence may sound weird coming from a Global Mod, but if you don't break any rules while doing so, you've really got something special.
4 - Yea, but that would be throughout the entire Forum. Your E2 character seems a bit ungrateful for the bright light he was given right at the start. That rubs me the wrong way. And, if things don't seem to go E2's way, he: a) Bitches and whines about it (thus, making your character look like a baby) or, b) You seem to go into some sort of hiding.
That would be all.

Great advice from a great champion, and I agree. You need to go back to the guy that was found in shinns office after beating up security. I loved that character. And if you when back to that, you could expand that character and be in the same position as Nation is now!

Just to clear one thing up. I'll come back ti the rest later. Nation was quoted as saying:
Stare meant that he would score them differently. I'll score a promo based on the writers ability, not on it's content if it is as good as some of them have been. Shinn's also has his own mind too. One rater doesn't speak for the others. If all three raters start saying similar things about your promo, then there's something to look at. But, at the end of the day, your promos are exactly that; yours! Do not, please, change something completely if you think it's working well. Adapt it. Mould it into something. But don't scrap it altogether.
Every single person on the active roster has posted a promo with interesting elements at least. Working on the way you do your promos leads to higher scores. Changing them entirely just means you have to start from scratch again, with only the roots of your character to work on. You can make anything work with a little careful thought and a little patience. Don't just give up on an idea. Persevere.

1. Do you think the E2/Shinns feud was rushed and cut short?
I don't think it ever really started as a legit feud. It was just a one off match with your title on the line. You were asking for the match so Shinn's booked it. That's all. I'm sure that you two will start off a feud soon enough, but then you both were already in the middle of seperate feuds.
2. Do you think E2's Undisputed Internet Championship title reign was a joke?
Definitely not. You beat Gormy man. She even scored a 5 in that match, yet you still beat her. That is an amazing achievement for only your second PPV. Not many others can do that. As for the length of the reign, I definitely don’t think it was a joke. You held it for 2 weeks which is better than nothing. You went up against Shinns. Nation is the only person recently o have beaten him, and look where he is now.
3. If the stuyline were in your hands, what would you have done differently? How would you have written the stuyline?
I would keep everything as it is right now as I think it is quite interesting how everything has played out. Now that WF2 is over, I would have you get in Shinns's face, trying to get a re-match. Trying to get on his good side and then when he gives in for you to turn on him. You would say how you feel in real-life, how you didn't think the match was fair to be on TNT out of the blue. It would lead to a match at the next PPV. Then on TNT, 2 weeks after the PPV, there would be a third and final match, regardless of who won at the PPV.
1. Do you think the E2 character has degenerated from what it once was?
You still have the bad-ass essence of your character but you’ve drifted into comedy rather than being a monster. I enjoy the comedy and think you should still some how incorporate it into your repertoire but your character should be centered around the fact that you are “The One Man Killing Machine”. Cactus is the perfect partner for you. I remember when you were doing the little promos just before PPVs where E2 would be sitting in the cross-legged position, meditating. I think that is a really good dimension for your character as it gives him something different, which separates him from the rest. It’s almost like some sort of reasoning as to why you’re so “powerful” because of your background that we’re slowly find out more about. Things like that are very interesting and perfect for your character.
2. Do you even like the E2 character? I like the E2 character a lot. Whether you’re being funny or serious. But the “Killing” mentality is better. I look forward to reading your promos.
3. If you were Elijah Edwards and this is your character, what improvements would you make? What would you change?
As I’ve mentioned before. Go back to the less human-like character and to the more dominating one. It made you look so good without even having to promo, to a certain extent. I would limit the amount of interaction you have with Deathrow in your promos as single person promos tend to be harder and therefore if you do them well, you’ll do better. With every promo I would give some sort of background knowledge of E2, like how he became “The One Man Killing Machine” and always try to come out with something ground-breaking and different.
4. How do you feel about E2 going off the deepend at times? Are there things that I do to rub you the wrong way or are there things you would like to see more of?
I think you know how I feel. Simply, at times you get on my nerves (as I do to you) and then other times you are very respectful. I think at times your temper can get you into a lot of trouble, that is after all how your match with Shinns got booked. But it can also be a good thing like the possibility of a feud with me. Just be careful.
Hope this helped.

1. Do you think the E2/Shinns feud was rushed and cut short?
- Was this even a feud? Or didn't Shinns just win #1 Contendership and that was that. The "feud" didn't start until after the match when E2 didn't get his rematch, and OOC shit started spewing. I enjoyed the constant bickering and cheap shots taken at one another. It lighted a spark unda P2PW's ass. But yes, it was cut too short. But in the end, DeathRow needed a match to elevate their status as a tag team. The WF II Tag Match was it.
2. Do you think E2's Undisputed Internet Championship title reign was a joke?
- Yes. No questions asks. Ended too short, IMO. Thats My problem with P2PW's voting system. A guy could win the belt one show, and the next he could be in jeopardy of losing the belt. How do I know me and Tyler won't lose the belts the first time we defend it?
3. If the storyline were in your hands, what would you have done differently? How would you have written the storyline?
- I'd have had Shinns lose the match only by an inch. E2 does some sneaky heel shit and pulls out the win, giving him another big name under his list of wins. Shinns demands a rematch, and boom, its set. E2 vs. Shinns Theory for the Internet Title at WrestleFever II. Funamie takes E2's place in the 3 Way Tag Title match, teaming with Cactus. During the match, a masked man runs in and costs E2 the title, and Shinns takes home the belt. As the shows goes on, and E2 continues to get screwed, its revealed Rocky is the man under the mask. And in turn, a 3 way feud builds over the title.
1. Do you think the E2 character was degenerated from what it once was?
- Not really. But I think you could stop saying "Nigga" alot. Not something I see ROH or WWE use. Scrap that. WWE does it, they just don't wanna say the word that goes with it.
2. Do you even like the E2 character?
- Yes, I like it alot. Were apart of that "Ethnic" group that makes up the fed, which I like. Adds to the diversity.
3. If you were Elijah Edwards and this is your character, what improvements would you make? What would you change?
- Nothing. Continue being the crazy monster he is.
4. How do you feel about E2 going off the deepend at times? Are there things that I do to rub you the wrong way or are there things you would like to see more of?
- Again, no prolem.

Rocky hit the nail on the head guys. I judge based on a lot of things, and making sure your promo is believable is one of them. We're in an "wrestling" efed, and I think you should keep a realisitic element that can be seen on a "wrestling" show. But, that is just what I looked for, I'm not speaking for anyone else but me. As for this thread: 1. Do you think the E2/Shinns feud was rushed and cut short? Was it rushed? Absolutly. Was it cut short? Absolutly NOT! This thing is still going on and it's still a hot topic. I do not think this one is over. It was rushed, yes, but you did ask for it. 2. Do you think E2's Undisputed Internet Championship title reign was a joke? Was Randy Orton's title reign a joke? Some would say yes, some would say no, he knocked off Chris Benoit, the guy who will be remembered at WMXX. I think a longer title reign would've been better, but being that you were knew, it saved face more than you know. You're still developing, and for that reason, losing a title doenst kill you at all. Think Carlito. 3. If the stuyline were in your hands, what would you have done differently? How would you have written the stuyline?[/color] I thought it was great. I'm not kidding. It was differnet, and something that wasnt being done anywhere else in the fed. "Out of the blue" is a lost art, and I enjoy that surprise factor sometimes. But, this storyline has tons of potential when (and I mean WHEN) it gets turned back on. 1. Do you think the E2 character was degenerated from what it once was? Yes. The One Man Killing Machine is now The One Man Bitching Machine. E2, you can always bounce back if you just work with what you're given and turn a disadvantage into an ADvantage. Complaining about what happened annoyed everyone, even those who agreed with you. I think you should treat this place for what it is, a "fantasy" efed. It's purely fun. If things dont go your way, who cares? It's fake! Have fun with it no matter what. Take a lesson from Micko. 2. Do you even like the E2 character? Not right now. I liked him in the beginning. The way me and Shinns were writing you in at the start was gold, and like Shinns said, your promo's painted a funny guy, not a killing machine. 3. If you were Elijah Edwards and this is your character, what improvements would you make? What would you change?I would be a sadisitic son of a bitch! Besides Soul Reaper and Rocky, I think the heel department is lacking that aspect, and I think you need to enter that realm, along with Cactus and Funamie, for that matter. 4. How do you feel about E2 going off the deepend at times? Are there things that I do to rub you the wrong way or are there things you would like to see more of?You have done a couple things that rub me the wrong way, and it all stems from you taking this too seriously. Don't worry, I use to do the same thing. Realize this for what it is, a time consumer. It's great if you're bored, or if you enjoy wrestling, or if you just enhoy e-feds. The keyword is "enjoy". If you're throwing a fit or getting mad, there's your proof that you're taking this too seriously. I could name off many people that I think do this. I would like to see more of you enjoying this instead of taking it so seriously. I want to see a bad ass muthafucka in the E2 character. E2, I think you are a very imaginative individual. I think you show so much potential with promos and some ideas that you spit out. But, you really need to look at the first thing you said in the opening post, and that was your respect for Nation for what he pm'ed you. Don't you want to be respected like that? Nation is an honest-to-God class act. The belt deserves to be around him for the simple fact of how he conducts himself alone. He won't complain when he loses the World Title Belt, cause he knows this is an efed that is made to have fun, not to get angry cause you lost. I would love to see the day when E2 says "Congratulation, Shinns. I honestly feel like this match was rushed, and it didnt get a great build-up, but that doesnt defeat the fact that you beat me fair and square. But, I will get you back playa . " EDIT: You state your point, but you don't complain, and you keep a bright outlook on things. You forget what just happened and look forward to the next show, cause with each loss of a title, a new storyline for you unfolds. That should be the way you approach this place. I hope all this helps you

I am reading and digesting all of the advice. I like the honesty that everyone is putting forth about the E2 character. As I look back at things, the whining was uncalled for and a bit immature. Did Gormy whine when I took her belt? No. She shook it off and rebounded and look where she is now. Exactly. And Shinns brought up a point in another forum about Rocky and his title shots. The man keeps a positive outlook and continues to play the game. At this point I need to keep reading and reviewing a few things and let them sink in. One thing is fo' sho' tho': I owe the entire e-fed an apology for starting as a class act and whining when things didn't go my way. For that, I am sorry.
But the imput is helping playas. Let's here from more of you.

This isn't just about winning titles or getting title shots. It's also about getting the best out in you and channeling that to your character. I haven't held a title since Nation beat me for the RAGE title ages ago. I've had two title shots since; my rematch at the following PPV and the WFII match for the Internet title against Shinn's. But I'm more than content, because I'm continuously working on my character. Don't get me wrong, titles are nice. But as I said, titles aren't the be all and end all. You don't need a title to show how good you are. Your promos show that.

1. Do you think the E2/Shinns feud was rushed and cut short?
Rushed yes, cut short no. The reason I say this is because it seems to me even though we have teamed up you still seem to "hold a grudge" and want another shot at shinns, belt or no belt. Its like me I want a shot at Scream still even though he does not have my belt any longer I want to avange that loss.
2. Do you think E2's Undisputed Internet Championship title reign was a joke?
Hell no, you beat probably one of the top 3 writers here, so if that is classed as a joke I would like a few jokes played on me like that!
3. If the storyline were in your hands, what would you have done differently? How would you have written the storyline?
I refuse to answer this question here, I have had an idea about this which I will PM to you.
This is where I need your feedback: I am in the process of changing my character and style and I would like you to share some suggestions openly, in our forum.
1. Do you think the E2 character was degenerated from what it once was?
Yes he has, he has gone from quite possibly the angriest man in the fed to being quite placid, get back to the anger you had when you started. You always wanted Shinns, you got him and lost so get angry over it and make him notice you.
2. Do you even like the E2 character?
Overall yes I do, but he needs to go back on himself and make himself the monster heel he once was.
3. If you were Elijah Edwards and this is your character, what improvements would you make? What would you change?
I would get back to feeling the rage that driven him on in the early days, the days when he trashed offices to get at Shinns etc.
4. How do you feel about E2 going off the deepend at times? Are there things that I do to rub you the wrong way or are there things you would like to see more of?
E2 going of the deepend is what we all seemed to like, when he was a bad motherfucker and did not care what he said or did. You dont rub me the wrong way but I can see why others feel like it, all I would say is think of it the otherway before you popst something, i.e. if someone else said it to you, how would you feel? I want the angry, nasty, monster back, I want the man who would powerbomb a female fan for holding up a "Deathrow suxs" sign.
Hope this helps

1. Do you think the E2/Shinns feud was rushed and cut short?
It was out of the blue, no doubt about it and I don't think it was given that much attention afterwards. BUT it will get the spotlight very soon, mainly because the story is there OOC and IC. Losing the Internet title could be a blessing in disguise, E2. Because now you've reached a point where you need to know where your character is going. If you faced Shinns at Fever, I don't think you would have been ready. At the next PPV? Well, that's a different story. Things have been stripped down and worked on. You've got fire in your belly over this and I imagine it'll be less clear cut who the winner will be in the near future.
2. Do you think E2's Undisputed Internet Championship title reign was a joke? No, not at all. My Rage title reign towards the end was a joke because I was too busy going for the World title. Addryd's Rage title reign also should have been better but again I'm partly to blame for that. You beat Gormy for that belt. You beat Gormy. Not many people do that. That alone deserves a hell of a lot of respect.
3. If the stuyline were in your hands, what would you have done differently? How would you have written the stuyline? It's hard to say as it's a theoretical question. I can't really answer that till I see how the whole thing is played out. Because it ain't over yet.
This is where I need your feedback: I am in the process of changing my character and style and I would like you to share some suggestions openly, in our forum.
1. Do you think the E2 character was degenerated from what it once was? Well, we've talked about it before. Yes, I do but not just you, Deathrow as a whole. You need to be your own characters while together. One Man Killing Machine and the Lone Wolf joined together isn't working as it should right now. It was better when you did it as a way of having someone watching your back. It was convenient for each party to be together. You're not a team. You're a faction. Two singles stars working together to further their own individual goals.
2. Do you even like the E2 character? Yes, I do.
3. If you were Elijah Edwards and this is your character, what improvements would you make? What would you change? Strip it down and go back to basics. Don't play for the popular vote. Just go back to being a bad, napalm in the veins motherfucker.
4. How do you feel about E2 going off the deepend at times? Are there things that I do to rub you the wrong way or are there things you would like to see more of? It's part of his character. It depends really on the reaction we get. If you feel aggreived by a match, use the extra promo thread to write a promo that would address this. Like after the Shinns match, you should have written something small and basic but to the point, like trashing his car or something.
You're on the right track, dude. Stick with it and you'll get there.

Thanks to Cactus and Nation for the recent imput. And also thanks to everyone who has participated and contributed some truthful advice. Indeed, the bad motherfucker in E2 will return. No more cartoon promos and fantasy like outtakes. I have faith in my ability to write a wrestling-oriented promo and I am willing to put that to the test. E2 also has a dark past, which we will get into as time progresses. In the meantime, more feedback.....

Aladdin, right now, I am getting some gold nuggets from the likes of yourself, Stare, Shinns, ChadClassic, Nation and Rocky and others. I don't want this to be a Sound Off type thing, but any new topics are welcome. Feel free to start if you have an idea but its important that it pertains to our e-fed and the characters therein.. Perhaps you would like feedback on the Aladdin character or maybe have some suggestions about other players in our e-fed.
EDIT: I must point out that Shinns, Nation's and Stare's advice has had the greatest impact on me to this point. It wasn't easy to swallow, but it was truthful and I will be thinking of ways to put it to practice. I highly regard individuals who can tell you as it is, and not be a respecter of persons.

I'll take a crack at this, although I don't know how good my advice will be.
1. Do you think the E2/Shinns feud was rushed and cut short?
I got here right when you lost your title, and I didn't think much of it at the time. Then I went back and read both your promos and thought "Damn" then the constant bickering afterwards really built up anticipation for Shinn's/E2 part deuce. If this storyline is dropped, then it will be a big disappointment. From what I gather though, it's not done yet.
2. Do you think E2's Undisputed Internet Championship title reign was a joke?
Can't really tell you, but I don't think so. If the storyline with you and Shinn's continues, then definatly no.
3. If the stuyline were in your hands, what would you have done differently? How would you have written the stuyline?
Nothing. The interaction between you and Shinn's has been good on and off the shows.
1. Do you think the E2 character was degenerated from what it once was?
I'm not sure what it once was, but I like how it is now. But I also like more off the wall cartoon characters than any other kind.
2. Do you even like the E2 character?
Yep. You, and a handful of others are the only ones I actually look forward to reading.
3. If you were Elijah Edwards and this is your character, what improvements would you make? What would you change?
I'd try to give him more of a bad-ass feel, but try to keep a lighter, funnier side in my promos. No problem with having fun with your promos, and then getting serious. Besides, I really dislike goldberg type monsters.
4. How do you feel about E2 going off the deepend at times? Are there things that I do to rub you the wrong way or are there things you would like to see more of?
The complaining gets annoying. But then, you're a heel, so it just strengthens your character, making you a more believeble heel.

New topic:
What is your idea of a monster heel? Are they suppose to have a serious demeanor 24/7 with no sign of humor or emotion? Or are they suppose have a human element? Are monster heels people who can actually be related to? In the early 90s, Sid Justice was this kind of monster heel. He was just a monster who had no human side. As a result, he was a believable threat to each and every opponent that stepped into the squared circle with him. However, there were people like Brock Lesnar who started out as monsters, but end up as laughing stock because his character was softened up. This floor now belongs to you.....

Monster all the way, best heel in my lifetime belongs to middle 80's to middle 90's, Vader rules all, he "felt" no pain and paralzied people ( joe thurman but only for 3 hours ).
Vader was everything a heel needed to be and he set the bar that has yet to be matched IMO.

New topic:
Now that the efed split has occured, let us hear how you feel about it. One concern I had was with each roster being so small, the work load will increase for the guys upstairs. Participants will also have a heavier load, and depending on the amount of free time people have, this could work for or against us. And what happens if someone pulls a Spaz and decides they don't want to do it anymore? What happens if a few people pull a Spaz and one roster is left with seven people? What are your thoughts on this and do you think the efed will re-merge in less that six months? Floor is yours.....

I've already stated my thoughts on this. Yes, everyone's JOB becomes harder. More participation will be needed from everyone. The rosters are far too small, in my humble opinion. But, it's what the the majority of the people wanted. So, here we go. Time to ride the Roller Coaster from hell, which may lead us straight to the actual place.

I've stated my side as well.
I think the rosters are perfectly fine, especially with the two more sign ups, an re-emergence of Steve, Wolverine, SoL, and Firefly. I've already noticed an awakening in the fed in the past days, and people getting into their brand. I think competition is good for everyone.
Yes, everyone will have more matches, but that was the #1 listed argument with the fed when we posted that one thread a while back. In my opinion, people were not being used properly (enough), and a smaller roster will solve that, or at least make it a lot better.
Overall, time will tell, but it is my opinion that this is the best thing for the fed. If it doenst work, we can remerge, no harm done. If it does work out, then I'm glad we tried it. If we hadnt tried it, we would never have known if this would've worked or not.
We'll see.
