Yes I am a scouser, and yes during the 80's we got the short end of a very very very shitty stick, but what she done for the country on a whole was much better ( i would mention them but no doubt Eez already has and as king shane decreed, no backreading )

She did make Liverpool suffer but the fact that the rest of the country, namely the South, did okay with her, doesn't make it right or evens out the score. Shouldn't any great leader try and make it across the board instead of just in her own party's constituencies?

being a good leader is not about being popular. 'populist' policies are not always the best. sometimes you have to go against popular opinion to do what is best for the country.
