Back in the Spring, I received my brand new Dell Inspiron 8600 Laptop. I also received a total of 3 power supplies (one came with it, one came with the docking station, and one came with the moblie package -- that allows me to plug it into the car). Not long after I got it, I noticed that to avoid a spark, I had to plug it in in a certain order. Ok, no big deal...I can deal with that.
Well, I take it that lots of other customers complained about this little defect, and Dell offered to replace the cords that plug into the power supply for free. Ok, I'll take 'em up on that.
Today I received the new cords, and thought I was all set to go. However, upon reading one of the pieces of paper that were inside the box, I found another suprise...if I return my old cords, and check this little box, they'll send me a FREE Dell 720 Printer!
Well, considering that my printer got fried a year ago and I haven't replaced it yet (been using a printer being shared on another's PC), I figured that a cheap printer was better than no printer at all. And since I hardly print anything anyway, this should last me for quite some time.
So, now I'm just waiting for DHL to pick-up my old cords. Then it'll be just a few weeks before I get my new printer. Considering that my Internet's also been fixed today, I think I've had a pretty good day.
I love it when a plan comes together! /Hannibal (from the A-Team, not Lecter)

Have to tell you my dad has accidentally uninstalled his excel....He has thrown a fit that measured on the richter scale!! And then has the cheek to blame my kids for hiding his install disc again!!!!!!!
He is a muppet and I thought it was very funny. I laughed, but only cos I live at the other side of the country to him and he couldn't come round here and kill me!!!!
