A Scanner Darkly - Great flick. Trippy as hell.
Hard Candy - Good to see a film sometimes and actually have a debate about it with the person you watched it with.

Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe - Not a bad flick if you're into fantasy movies. But don't think it can compare to the original novel.

^I thought that was shit. One minute the kid is being a pussy and doesn't know how to hold a sword, the next minute he's a fucking pro. Stupid as hell.
Anyways:
See No Evil - I was pleasantly surprised by this actually. I didn't think it was that bad at all, probably because i had really low expectations after watching The Marine. I don't have a lot of faith in Kane's acting skills, but they covered that up nicely. MILES and MILES ahead of the shit that was The Marine.

House Of 1000 Corpses - Cool music, but a little on the slow side for a scary movie. 1 1/2 stars.

My Super Ex Girlfriend - Horseshit Superman Returns - Not as good as it should have been, but not as bad as it could have been.

Clerks 2- Not as good as the original but still is worth a look. Rosario Dawson is hot in this pic. Something about chicks with glasses. Plus they introduce a new character to the story named Elias. Lets just say that if E2 was to see this movie, he be going around calling JT Elias..
Plus who can forget about Jay and Silent Bob? They are hilarious in this movie. If you are a fan of Kevin Smith and his movies, this is on to check out.

National Lampoon's Animal House - A masterpiece of college-themed cinema. I pray they don't remake this because it would never be anywhere near as good.

Beverly Hills Ninja - God bless Chris Farley, RIP. I liked how all throughout the movie he'd clock Robin Shou (the guy from Highlander who played Liu Kang in that first shitty Mortal Kombat movie) all throughout the movie.

Pan's Labrynth - Brilliant film. Also has the best bad guy I've seen in awhile. thought it was quite boring, barring the "bottle" incident it was not that good a film IMO. Casino Royale - good film overall, but nowhere near a bond flick

Well no-one's perfect.
Casino Royale - Not a Bond film. Too good for that. Unfair? Well it's the shock I guess. "HE'S BLONDE!" So what? He kicks ass. The Bond franchise needed a reboot. Needed a clean slate. This is it. People can say "Not a Bond film." And View To A Kill is? Goldfinger is still the best Bond but after that it went into self parody. Dalton brought a bit of grit into the proceedings but it was too big a jump from Moore's letch/double entendre fest. Brosnan was somewhere in between the two. Craig (maybe not in looks department) is as close to Fleming's vision as you can get in this day and age.
Devil Wears Prada - Horrible film. It's easy to dismiss that because I'm a guy and this is a supposed chick flick, but it's more than that. Just a film that tries to get you to care about unsympathetic characters who all deserve contempt rather than pity or empathy or such bollocks.
The Prestige - I had an idea I was going to like it. I was just surprised by how much I liked it. Really fucking good. Both Jackman and Bale are great in this. Chris Nolan has done a great job yet again. Even David Bowie's dodgy Freeeaaaanch accent cannot detract from this quality flick. The twist is kind of obvious but it doesn't really affect your enjoyment of the film.

Kung Fu Theater: Ninja Thunderbolt
Don't be fooled by the name. There's very few ninjas in this flick. Although there are a few scenes with naked asian chicks, which depending on you is good or bad. Killer action scenes (including some car chases) and good music, but the acting wasn't too good, and this movie suffers the same drawback of foriegn films: bad dubbing into English. I give it a 1.75 out of 5.
