Judging that neither are mob-related movies, I'd say he's talking about both.

I kind of dought that episode 7, 8 or 9 will be made. In a way I think that "Return of the Jedi" will be a fitting final chapter just because I think it is the best out of all 5 of the current movies. One still can't say that 7, 8, or 9 will automatically be terrible, but I am not the Star Wars buff. Anyhow as long as Jar Jar Binks is out of the picture I am happy as a clam.

star wars was always in 9 parts. 7,8 and 9 dealt with leia and han getting hitched and having twins. luke bringing the jedi order back but turning to the dark side of the force after losing to a clone of the emperor. leia saves him and brings balance to the force. lucas doesn't want to do them now, he hasn't said why but it's because he sees skwalker as part of himself and doesn't want to admit that he's turned to the dark side. far fetched? i'll explain it all to you one day as to what star wars means. but check out return of the jedi-luke is halfway (if not further to being a sith)

Mark Hamill Talks Star Wars Epis. 7, 8, & 9 Source: Scott Chitwood Friday, September 10, 2004
This past Wednesday, ComingSoon.net had the opportunity to attend Lucasfilm and Fox Home Entertainment's roll-out of the "Star Wars Trilogy" DVD set (Coming Sept. 21st.) One of the surprise guests at the event was Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill. He ended up being one of the highlights of the presentation as he enthusiastically recalled humorous anecdotes about the making of the original films, working with Kevin Smith, seeing TROOPS for the first time, and more.
However, his comments towards the end about Episodes 7, 8, and 9 really got everyone's attention. Mark told those in attendance what Lucas told him the third trilogy would be about. Hamill also went into detail about Lucas' original plans for those films, when they would be made, and more. Plus, Lucasfilm's Jim Ward confirmed that a "Star Wars" TV series is on the way in the near future (though he didn't say when it would be set).

1 and 2 were never meant to be any good-they were all about setting the scene. one thing that i do know is that as soon as i see anakin become vader and hear that raspy breath, i'm gonna mark out big time!

During an interview, George Lucas squashed rumors that Star Wars sequels were in the works. Lucas says, Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith will be the last Star Wars movie.
"This was never planned as a nine-episode work," Lucas said. "The media [pounced when] I made an offhand comment, 'It might be fun to come back when everyone's 80 and do another one of these.' But I never had any intention of doing that."
The original Star Wars was only three films, and that was what it was meant to be," he said. "After a lot of pondering and thought, I went back to do the back story, but that pretty much tells the story. Episode six is the end. There isn't any more to it."
Revenge of the Sith may not recieve the PG rating, the other films in the series recieved. Lucas claims it is because the film is very dark and intense, making it hard to stick to a PG rating.

he was just joking when he said it! thank god

the only way to find out what REALLY happens in EP 7,8 & 9 is to read the 'Hand Of Thrawn' trilogy of books by Timothy Zahn.
they're titled "Heir To The Empire", "Dark Force Rising" and "The Last Command".
i have all three and can highly recommend them. they are brilliant reading.

I am a Star Wars mark. heir to the throne?? i'm hoping that's a typo and you actually got heir to the empire. the books are great, and if you're 50 pages in, it only gets better. a LOT better.
