First of all someone explain to me the beef between 50 Cent & The Game. And yes i have been living under a rock, coz i ain't got a clue what's been going on. Damn embarrassed about it too. Anway explain.
And why is The Game now being promoted as the future of Hip Hop? His stuff is absolute bullshit. Fifty owns his ugly ass.

Personally, I think Game could whup 50 in a fght. 50's a wanksta and The Game could have been part of N.W.A. back in the day.

From Allhiphop.com rumor mill, dated late May....
The 50 Cent/ Game Show
INTERSCOPE IS NOT HAPPY WITH THE GAME
So, this is the latest. When Game dissed 50 Cent on the Summer Jam stage, he upset a lot of people way up the totem pole at Interscope Records. The word is that they are even considering dropping the younger gun, but that’s obviously premature speculation. Also, rumor has it, 50 Cent is going to respond all summer with the Anger Management tour. Hey, I didn’t make this one up. Click here to get the scoop and response from our rambunctious Ill Community.
W-W-W-W-WAIT IT GETS WORSE
OK, this whole thing with 50 Cent and Game looks like it is about to get ugly! I’m not saying this is Game’s initiative, but the word is there are going to be protests outside of every 50 Cent concert going forward. And that a big a** rat will be present at any and every 50 Cent G-Unit show in the U.S.of A. These picketers will apparently have signs that say “G-uNOT” on them. To all my Southerners, I say “great day in the morning!”

The Game is really the only member of the G-Unit worth listening to. They should just rename the group "50 Cent and his Bitches" because A) 50 appears on every record that G-Unit (Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks and that other guy other than Game) does, and B) 50 Cent can't sell a record without G-Unit's help. 50 was good when he was battling Ja Rule because let's face it, Ja really is a wanksta. But 50 against Game? It's like Satan versus a newborn baby. Game wins every time. Next time 50 gets shot, let's hope he don't get back up.

Actually, that's not the case now...as the only remaining original members of G-Unit are 50 and Tony, and 50 sold records before G-Unit (see: Get Rich or Die Tryin'), and Game was never an official of G-Unit anyway. Dre discovered Game, and Game signed to Aftermath, not G-Unit. But, alas, G-Unit is alive and well still with the recent signings of Mobb Deep and MOP.
Excuse me while I go cry now...

Rap nowadays is all about two things: money and disses. Used to be good clean fun. It used to start with the DJ, not the emcee. It used to be like the emcee would rap, there'd be dancers, lots of crowd participation (such as "now put your hands in the air, wave 'em like you just don't care"). Hip-hop was a machine. Each part was as vital as the last. Take bands like Public Enemy, Run-DMC and Salt-N-Pepa. Why do you think they were so popular? Everyone knew who everyone in the band was. Nowadays, the scene is "how much of a ruckus can you make insulting another person on record and saying your name a million times in five minutes". Right now, the only hip-hoppers I listen to are Ludacris (he doesn't instigate, he just flows), Tupac, Notorious B.I.G. and Beastie Boys. Someday, hip-hop will implode from people getting bored from people just shooting random insults at other rappers and maybe hip-hop will fall back on the machine that was the group.

The Game & 50 ain't got nothing on Kanye. Mr. West is the true saviour of Hip Hop. His lyrics, beats and everything else are superior to anyone in the game today.

To NIN: No I'm not.
To JT: If you look at the scope of things, the only person starting shit is 50, but since no one wants to come off as soft no one is gonna back down even though they know they should, sadly enough. Hip-hop isn't going anywhere, 50 is the biggest star out right now only because he stirs controversy, 50 vs. Game...50 vs. Nas...50 vs. Joe....50 thrives on beef, that is his way of selling records. He can't make a decent song to save his life and hasn't had to because all he has to do shoot his mouth to sell records, what does that say about the fanbase?
But there are other big-name hip-hop artists who sell and sell big without beef (Snoop and Ludacris are prime examples), but in hip-hop, if someone calls you out, you have to respond or no one will give you any respect. Hip-hop lives by the code of the streets.

I can only listen to a few rappers that put out records today: Ludacris, Chamillionaire and Paul Wall. All the other rap I listen to is old. I honestly dont like Game anymore than I do 50, although I liked "In da Club" more than anything Game has done.
