Well, today's the day kids (and big kids) find out what Harry Potter does next, in the sixth instalment of the JK Rowling series
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
I'm waiting for the postie to deliver my copy this morning, to take it's place with the other 5 books, and I'll be honest, having re-read the fifth book to re-aquaint(sic) myself with the story, I'm looking forward to it.
Thoughts?
edit, my copy arrived 20 mins ago, will have to wait till tonight to start reading it, off out with the kids. some things are just more important in life than a book
ps, please, if you have started, or have completed the book, dont post any spoilers here. Once enough time has passed, the discussion will change to the actual story of the book itself
thanks

Slow build up, lots of good storytelling, then bang explosive finish to set up book 7 perfectly

see i am in 2 minds i think the explosive ( and it is ) finish covers up for a mediocre first 450+ pages, dont get me wrong I enjoyed it but something was naggin at me for a couple of days and I figured it out, the first three quarters of the book were not that good
