I don't know what the skit was called, but I always loved the Chris Farley sketches where he was "LIVING IN A VAN, DOWN BY THE RIVER!"
The worst one was when Will Ferrell and whats her name dressed up in silly costumes and sang songs.

Harey Carey, if that was his name, was great. And Norm Mcdonald was the best Weekend Update host.
"What do you want to do with your life!?
I want to live in a van down by the river.
Well you're gonna have a lot of time to do that when you're LIVING IN A VAN, DOWN BY THE RIVER!"

best skits...
Mr. Robinson's neighborhood. Every time Adam Sandler did Operaman Weekend Update w/ Norm McDonald
Who did the Bill Clinton impersonations? Those were classic.

I loved Norm Macdonals' Weekend Updates, good stuff.
I actually am one of the few who enjoy Fallon and Fey's Weekend Updates as well.
Adam Sandler's operaman were classics.
I love almost anything Farley, Sandler, & MacDonald did. Mike Myers was good, but had some rare misses (but I did like Wayne's World)
I'm with Spackle, I hate Will Ferrel & The Butterface chick's Cheerleader and costume things, horrid

Best Everything 1998 and before
Worst When Jimmy Fallon left.
I still did like the shows past 1998, but the last straw of that show was when Jimmy Fallon left. Now I can't bare to watch the whole hour and a half. I try to stay up for Weekendupdate, specially since Fey came back from maternity leave, but I just can't. SNL is dead until Fallon, Tracy Morgan, Chris Kattan, Will Ferrell, Ana Gasteyer, Norm MacDonald, David Spade, Adam Sandler, Tim Meadows, and Chris Elliot return for a one night show.

I think I stopped watching SNL around '86-'88. I've seen a few episodes since then (probably about a dozen or so), but I don't go out of my way to try and catch it anymore.

I always thought Will Ferrell's "Jeopardy" Spoof's were priceless.

Yea, those were good. Spackle mentioned one that he didn't like that I always found funny: The Culps. They did some pretty badass medleys.
