I wouldn't've have gone... barring a free ticket, because anything thats for "charity" or "a cause" is just lining the pocket of some fat cats via a lie. I don't mind concerts that I know are lining the pockets of fat cats when its very up front, but when its all a bunch of crap about saving the planet... or insert other random cause, thats when I'll pass.
The London one sounded good, the New York one looked good... Tokyo seemed ok and the others seemed meh at best. Besides they televised some of it on that Bravo channel. I don't know if they cut to different venues or if they just televised the New York one.

I watched Chris Rock introducing the Chilli's, then them cutting back to Johnathan Ross in one of the skyboxes coz he said Motherfucker at 5pm, when the kiddies are still up and watching (in the UK, you cant swear on tele, even live before 9pm)
Foo Fighters were shit hot as usual, but I fail to see the point of this.
Tell us all we are killing the planet, but coz they are celebrities all their carbon emmisions that were gig related are "offset"
How can you "offset" a gas? I'm curious. I mean I can "offset" a bar of chocolate for a later time, or because I have had my share of it. But that's a solid. So where are these carbon emmisions "offset" to?
I mean, do I have to switch all my appliances off, and not use my car this week, because Dave Grohl has used my split? Dave Grohl, I dont mind, but someone like, say, Joss Stone can find some other mug's carbon emmisions to borrow. I've said Dave Grohl can have mine, I dont need them. Enjoy Dave!
Answers on a postcard please
