Toronto was his first PRO home run, according to the apparent official web site of the man. They even wanted to give the site some kind of historic significance.
EDIT: Upon Further review, and rereading the question...yeah Toronto would be wrong as its a city.
The "state" (province) its in is Ontario I believe.... meh. Then again, this is just basing it on PRO level.

Well it would be better if you clarified if this was pro, scholar, or just for fun as a kid or something, because I have an official site saying his first Pro homer was as a Triple A player in Toronto, while another site says firmly that it was in the Pologrounds in 1915
