Tim-Tim is pretty much not going to re-gain his acceptance. That was probably the comments of a man whose "Fifteen Minutes Of Fame Counter" was at 14:55. I think this will kill any acceptance in the Miami Heat organization, NBAPA and NBA in general that he was holding on to in order to get into the Hall Of Fame. You blew it, Tim Hardaway. Blew it like a male prostitute. You'll get into the hall at the next blue moon.

Of course this is America, the land that loves to give people second chances. If Hardaway went to sensitivity training and did a lot of work with the gay community, i am sure that the NBA would welcome him back with open arms and the hof would induct him if his career was worthy of being in the Hall...

Tim Hardaway was always a bum. He rode Alonzo Mourning to the Eastern Conference Championship in 1997 and that's as close as he'll ever get to being an NBA champion.

Right now Dallas is leading Miami by 30 points.

If Wade has season-ending surgery, then you can stick the fork in Miami.
Shaq can't carry a team like he did 4 or 5 years ago.

Really. Good as Shaq is, he's not an individual superstar; he needs other teammates to make look better. And with Gary Payton as the only real other shooter superstar on the Heat that I can think of off the top of my head, it doesn't look good.

Jason Kapano's got a good shooter's touch; however, he's no Dwayne Wade.

Right now, the Charlotte Bobcats are in position to win 25 games. Personally, I hope it happens. And if the Cats get into the playoffs (which isn't going to happen, but it's nice to dream), this may make the sting of losing the Hornets to Nawlins go away a little. Adam Morrison (or whatever his name is) has been really performing, and Sean May and Emeka Okafor have stepped up. What the Bobcats need now is an experienced core. If they're willing to spend money, maybe they should bring Baron Davis or Alanzo Mourning back to Charlotte or go for "The Other AI" Andre Igoudala (I really don't know how to spell his name). Or they could get a good center, maybe the guy from Dallas or Cleveland (whoever they are) or maybe even Tim Duncan if they're willing to go to the salary cap.

sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2782056 Don't click on the video that is in the article if you cringe easy. This is the article plus video of the devastating injury that Clippers point guard Shaun Livingston suffered monday night vs the bobcats.

Can't be worse than the Barkley fall about seven years ago. I was at the game where the Houston Rockets were visiting and Barkley had this "welcome back thing" going on. In the third quarter he went for a rebound and came down wrong. His knee buckled to be exact. It looked as if it had popped out of the socket. It wasn't pretty. But the funny/humbling part is what happened next: Barkley had spent the last seven years verbally bashing one Steve Javie, an NBA referree who owns a home in Blue Bell (a lavish Philadelphia suburb just west of Elkins Park.) Barkley accused Javie of being against, calling false fouls and what not. Charles even went as far as to take shots at Javie's mother. When Barkley was on the floor crying and hollering like a little girl who lost her candycoated sugar pops, the first person to run over to help him was none other than Steve Javie. To say that Barkley couldn't look him in the eye is an understatement.
