Barry's fate is in your hands!
If he hits it, it'll be next month. Or after the All-Star Break. However, the only thing more enraging about it isn't when he breaks it, it's IF HE DOESN'T break it. All this hype, and he doesn't even do it. That'll be something.

Steoids or not is shouldn't be that difficult for him to hit a home run. He'll get there soon enough, and America will just shrug.

When and IF Barry passes The Babe, I won't personally acknowledge it. People like Ruth, Mayes and Aarron got where they are on the home run list without the use of performance enhancement. Anyone that reads the book or even looks at Bonds from the time he was with the pirates till he went to the giants will know something isn't right. I wish Selig would call Bonds into his office and go "look right now you are not in the best intrest of baseball. Either retire gracefully and have a chance of getting into the hall, or i will do a pete rose on you." And even then after all that has come out, good luck with that hall of fame.

I know what you're saying, Keith. I won't acknowledge Barry passing the Bambino, especially since The Babe is the God of Baseball. He's sitting up at Heaven's baseball field, playing with the other legends that've long since passed. And you're right, it's pretty a pretty standout fact that Barry looks different from his Pirates years to his Giants years, and Game Of Shadows shines some much-needed light on pro baseball and the urge to be a standout, no matter the cost. Should anything be definately found against Bonds, he'll be sentanced to Baseball Limbo along with Pete Rose, and there's a 99% chance he'll not get into the hall.
And as for the whole Pete Rose thing, Rose should be inducted as a PLAYER, not as a MANAGER. 'Cause when Pete Rose dies, he'll be in baseball heaven with the Sultan of Swat.

Yeah but the deal is that Rose has yet to be reinstated in baseball. But i agree, that if Rose was to ever be allowed back, the hall needed to vote on his merits as a baseball player, not as a manager. Rose deserves to be in the hall as a player. But i am gonna say that if Rose is allowed to be in the hall so does shoeless joe jackson.

Well, I will acknowledge Barry WHEN he passes Ruth, this is all some bullshit. Let's keep it real, baseball players are and have been the biggest cheaters in all of sports. How many HOF pitchers have admitted to cheatin' once they made the Hall? The only reason all this shit is such a big issue is because Barry is gonna pass Ruth. Where was all this hoopla when McGuire was breakin records?

And he was more juiced up that Batista.
If you ask me, white America can't deal the fact that a Black man (not named the j-man) is dominating in one of "their" sports.
Yeah, I said it. What did you expect E2 to say?
EDIT: God bless those steroids.

If you ask me, white America can't deal the fact that a Black man (not named the j-man) is dominating in one of "their" sports. Now I never went that far. I will admit that these days people from the Dominican republic and Puerto Rico appear to do better in baseball then americans. I think it has to do with the whole winter league system they have down there. I for one hope that a player like A-Rod or Pujoils is able to beat the homerun record. And the way that Pujoils is hitting this year he might very well do it. As for Bonds, I found this article on ESPN that is interesting. sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=hruby/060512

Yeah, yeah, yeah, blah, blah, blah. Then the same should be done for the McGuire/ Sosa home run derby that went on for almost 3 years, and every HR Ruth hit while high on coke or drunk (alcohol was illegal back then.)

I'm just curious, had this person been on your favorite team, would you still be dogging him like this? I seriously could give 2 shits either way. So he's breaking fuckin records... like he wasn't gonna be in the Hall of Fame anyways. Get over it already. Obviously nobody is stopping him, so I don't see the big deal. I happen to be a Giants fan, but again I could care less, I rarely follow anything that goes on in Baseball anymore because just like in the world, SOMEBODY is always bitching about something, and it takes away from the fun of it.
If the guy is juiced, well he didn't get "caught" by the right people, cuz he's still playing. And he happens to STILL be selling tickets because people want to see the ball explode out of stadiums.

I think one of two things should happen:
Either the MLB punishes steriod use with expulsion and forces all the remaining players to start dopping the old fashioned way with opium and vodka,
or the MLB starts forcing all the players to juice up.
Because either of those would make the whole game alot more interesting.

FUCK the Giants.
Dodgers all the way baby!
Had Barry been a Dodger I can't say whether I'd dog him or not....it depends...is his team winning games?

Not really....they're tied for last place in the West with the Rockies...
which makes this even more ridiculous. He may be hitting them out of the field, but he's not even leading the team in any area other than walks which is no surprise (he does that almost every year), the team sure as shit isn't winning and haven't been since this whole shit started, and probably doesn't have a chance in hell of getting to first because they always fuck up near the end.

At the end of the season, The Sultan Of Steroids goes to the AL as a DH.

Honestly I don't see Barry going to the American League just so he can beat Aaron. From all that I have heard he was more concerned about beating Ruth then beating Aaron. If Barry can't go in the outfield after this year I beleive he will hang it up. Also the pricetag that Barry would be asking would be too much, to be a DH, for most teams outside of the Yankees.
