Mick Vick has been indicted on dog fighting charges. I can't even begin to tell you how much it sickens me. The way some of these dogs were killed is totally barbaric. If Vick killed any of these dogs he should be shot. He should be kicked out of the NFL for life and jailed.
Fox News
NFL star Michael Vick was indicted by a federal grand jury Tuesday on charges of sponsoring a dogfighting operation so grisly the losers either died in the pit or sometimes were electrocuted, drowned, hanged or shot.
The Atlanta Falcons quarterback and three others were charged with competitive dogfighting, procuring and training pit bulls for fighting and conducting the enterprise across state lines.
The operation was named "Bad Newz Kennels," according to the indictment, and the dogs were housed, trained and fought at a property owned by Vick in Surry County, Va.
The 18-page federal indictment, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, alleges the 27-year-old Vick and his co-defendants began the dogfighting operation in early 2001, the former Virginia Tech star's rookie year with the Falcons.
The indictment states that dogs fought to the death — or close to it.
If convicted, Vick and the others — Purnell A. Peace, Quanis L. Phillips and Tony Taylor — could face up to six years in prison, $350,000 in fines and restitution.

I love the falcon, but for its "franchise" player to go out and do something like that is sickening, I hope he goes down for it for the full 6 years

Well its almost certain that he will end up doing some kind of jail time. On the sports talk radio that I listen to, they were saying that somewhere between 95-99% of all federal cases usually are won by the goverment. They don't go after the cases that they ain't sure are for the most part a slam dunk.
Also the guys on that sports talk show were noticing how Vicks cousin wasn't indicted along with Vick. They think that the cousin turned on Vick and will testify against him at the trial.
The best thing for Vick to do is take a leave of absence from the falcons. All he is going to do is be a distraction to the whole team. Peta has already stated they will be at training camp to protest. You also will have Vick supports protesting as well. Not a good enviroment for a first year coach trying to teach everyone his system.
Also this isn't making the Falcons look very bright. They go and trade perhaps the best backup quarterback in Matt Schabb to Houston and bring in Joey Harrington as their backup. Now it looks like Harrington will be starting for the Falcons at some point this season. Thankfully reports have been coming out that he has looked good in offseason mini camps.

I cannoit see how you can come out to support Vick, PETA I understand ( if he is there ) but people claiming he done no wrong are just as sick and warped as he is

Fuck Mike Vick. It sickens me that people like Emmit Smith try to make Vick look like he had no part to do with this. He is scum. They should throw him in a pit with those dogs.

If Mike Vick is found guilty, the NFL won't stop at getting da boot from the NFL for a season. This is NOT the kind of publicity the NFL needs, especially with the Pacman Jones and Tank Johnston incidents that have stained their images. At this point, the NFL's probably going to expel Vick from the league if he's found guilty.
So in other words, the Falcons are going to be using Joey Harrington as a starter this season. Good for the Panthers, bad for them.

He is pleading guilty.
Now here's an interesting question: If Vick is in a crowed shower room, and drops the soap... is anyone actually going to be able to catch him?

He doesn't play Halo, you should have said Call of Duty, then he'd get it. And chances are...in either game, that sniper was me.

Five times every match is ok, but I'm sure Reaper gets you more than 3 times that.
Also, lock Vick up for good.

I hope that the Judge throws out the plea agreement that Vick and the prosecutors have come to. In it all Vick agrees to plea guilty to is being present for dogfights. He won't admit that he bet on dogfights or that he killed any dogs. Even though they can bring 7 witnesses up and testify that he did bet and also killed dogs. That Judge needs to either throw out the agreement or else sentence Vick for longer then the 18 months because all Vick is doing Monday is wasting the courts time.
