My bro, HBK, bought it a couple of nights ago and it's very interesting. The setting is in the jungle, so you have camouflage, so where you are depends what kind of camouflage you should have on. One example is when it is dark outside, you can put on a black suit, with black paint on your face, and you camo points, lets call it, would be like 60 or something like that. The higher the number, the more camouflaged you are. It's a preqel, so it's set in the 60's, when Snake was young. Remember revolver Ocelot? Well he's in it, but he looks like he's 20, very young. The gameplay's the same, but the left analog stick is to run, and the d-pad is the sneak. There's no radar, but it doesn't bug you too much. The codek is different when you call someone. It doesn't show Snake, and whoever he's talking to. It shows different pictures of who your talking to, and a faint animation in the background of Snake neeling and talking. My bro tried to snap someones neck, but it didn't work, so you can't snap peoples necks. When you get hurt, like a gun shot wound, you have to press start and go to cure. When you do that, you can hold L2 or R2 and go to different healing items to heal yourself, like bandages, and medicines, that's a very good advancement to the MGS series. Overall the game is amazing, and I recomend it to someone that like shooting, and sneaking games. ;D

It is probably the best game I have played. Better graphics than HALO 2. I finally figured out how to snap someone's neck or slit their throat with a knife!

You can also use guards bodies as shields like in True Crime Streets of LA.

HBK beat it. Very, very well put together. Bosses were fung to fight, but some were annoying. Overall, the game is absoltally amazing. The end, when your in the jet, is really fun, play it and find out yourself what happends.

I got this just over a week ago. It is a very good game. I'm not sure if it's better than Sons Of Liberty yet, but it's pretty damn good anyway.
The cure and food options are neat ideas. It feels like you're more involved, rather than just eating a ration and wathcing your health increase.
The CQC is a good idea too. I'm enjoying the game, but I haven't run into any real problems yet, which is a little worrying. It seems pretty easy on the normal setting. I'll move up a difficulty when I complete it.

I found some really fun things to do in this game...
1. Blow up a little shack with food in it- If you do this, later on the guards will be hungry and weaker.
2. Instead of fighing The End, use the time travel trick- When you fighing The End, save the game and turn off the game. Go to your menu in the playstation 2 and change the time to 20 years or so later. Then when you load, The End will be dead and there will be a very funny conversation about how The End died, like, "He kicked the bucket in battle?"
3. Where the Tuxedo camoflauge and contact the Boss- Go to your camoflauge menu and put on the tuxedo (after you've completed to game), then contact the Boss (at the start of the game) and there will be a funny conversation between them.
4. Shotgun- Always use the shotgun. It's fun and it's most powerful. That's it.
5. Shoot the bees when fighting Ocelot- When your fighting Ocelot, you can shoot the bees nests above him, then he will be distracted so you can shot him easily. *Tip* Also if you only use your pistol for this battle, Ocelots men wont shoot you.
6. At the end- When your shacking the presidents hand at the end of the game, hold R1 and turn left and you ca see Ocelot in the window.

I just completed it and all I can say is...wow! The storyline is phenominal. It was like watching a movie half the time. It links to the MGS1 brilliantly.
My only gripe with it, is that it was way too easy on Normal setting.

Did you have any trouble with any of the bosses Rocky? Cause the only boss I had trouble with was The End.

Nah, no real trouble. It took me a while to defeat The End. I think I was fighting him for about 30 minutes. I enjoyed that though. I did it the thrid time I tried. The first two times, he creepd up behind me when I was looking through the NV Goggles. The third time is where we went half an hour shooting each other.
The others were pretty easy. All in all, it was an easy game. I'll play it agin on a higher difficulty setting, using my patriot gun!

It's not even for the computer Spazy migee.
Anyway, the Patriot is a really powerful weapon. When I unlocked it, I used it for all the bosses, even The End. It's funny facing The Boss with it, because she uses it too, and she can't take it apart.
