Recently, I've gotten very into the UFC. With it's brutality and very talented fighters, it's hard not to like it. It makes a change from watching pro wrestling and it's alot more exciting.
There is an awesome match coming up between Vitor Belfort and Tito Ortiz, two of the highest rated fighters. If you need an induction into the UFC, try to watch this match next Saturday. It's been hyped for so long that you just know it won't fail to deliver!
Anyone else watch the UFC?

That's Royce Gracie! I have the first four on tape. Gracie vs. Ken Shamrock at UFC 1 was an awesome bout.

I watch UFC a lot. I have a few of the early PPVs on tape. My favorite fighters right now are the ones fighting for Team Quest.

I watch some UFC when I can, and I've actually been interested in it.
I'm trying to do research on Daniel Puder and his UFC Background.

Puder's background is not as extensive as the WWE would have you believe. He's had one fight. Fair enough, he won it, but the guy he beat was also making his debut and has only fought once since. The dude won that match. But the guy he beat was making his debut....
Do you see a pattern emerging here?

I just started watching UFC. It's finally on FSN. So, I really have nothing much to contribute, yet.
Did you guys know that Ken Shamrock and Dan Severn were professional wrestlers BEFORE they started competing in shoot-fighting? Thought that was pretty interesting.

Ken Shamrock got his ass knocked out in less than 2 minutes agianst Rich Franklin. It was hilarious, his face was all mangled.

I want to say it was because he slipped, and in all honesty, it was. But that's part of it.
I do have to give kudo's to Franklin for seizing the opportunity, but I am reluctant to think the match would've went differently if he hadn't fell.
Either way, I enjoyed watching Franklin pound the shit out of him, it was quite hilarious. And, dont get my above statement wrong, cause I think Franklin still would've won.

Rich Franklin would have beat shamrock anyway, maybe not that way but he would have worn him down over a couple of ronds ( IMO anyways )

You never know though, all it takes is One punch and the whole fight is over. Thats what I love about the MMA scene. A guy could look down and out, then WHAM! knockout and he wins it.

Tito Ortiz is still... STILL an overblown egomaniac that got his ass handed to him by my boy Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture. (sp?)
Tito lives on his own hype.
