i thought he'd been sent back to ovw, for some fine tuning. i was surprised he lost though as it would have been a good base for him to challenge eddie.

i love rey mysterio but it makes you realise what a waste of space smackdown has become. there are some saving graces but diamonds embedded in a turd are not going to stop it being a turd.

The sad part about it is, that I saw that they were planning on Mordecai/Eddie Guerrero Feuding by Summer Slam... and that was after the fact that he lost.

Well, I mean if a mid card tag teamer can become WWE Champ, then why cant a guy who is out of place in OVW be given Main Event status on Smackdown
Ive just answered my own question there havent I?

Just caught me off guard. With as much time and hype as they gave Mordecai over the past two months, I thought they could have sent him back to OWV without the humiliating loss on national TV.

Personally I dont think he "cuts the mustard" he is one of the worst performers i have seen including the likes of the a-train, mark henry, nathan jones etc.
In my opinion its no great loss as we are used to people coming in then dissapearing all the time
Bang! Bang!

^ good point
Once wCw shut down, we have had to get used to this conveyer belt of talent coming through the curtains.
This is no different

Can't argue with any of those statements. I thought Mordecai's hype and costume were much better than his in-ring technique and that ain't sayin' much. However, Luther Reigns has got a good in-ring presence and something Suzuki and Mordecai lack greatly--charisma!
