WWE trying something new.....
WWE has announced that their upcoming Tuesday RAW-brand PPV event on October 19th will be called "Taboo Tuesday." The show will take place from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Taboo Tuesday will air just 15 days after the No Mercy Smackdown PPV. This is an experiment by WWE to try a PPV on a day other than Sunday, something they have not done in many years.
ppv on a tuesday? i dont think that will work!

The last PPV type show I can recall was Tuesday in Texas, after Hogan saw his arse (english for threw rattle out of pram) coz he had to put a rookie over (Taker)
That bombed but we will have to see

I think the reason that last Tuesday one bombed was because it was 6 days removed from an already major PPV. This one may get a better rate simply because it'll be the PPV of the month, unless I missed something. Still not a good idea to put a PPV on during the week, but maybe this is WWE's try at seeing how they fair against NWA TNA.

Taboo Tuesday is the WORST name I've ever heard for a PPV. And I heard somewhere that WWE was doing a Tuesday PPV because they wanted to see if the could get a good buyrate by having it the night AFTER RAW instead of before. That way the cheap people would have to order it unless they want to wait 6 days for results (Of course they could always watch the RAW Rebound ). They would probably get a better buyrate if they held a PPV on a Saturday....

Nah, if they had a PPV on a Saturday they'd probably run into the same problem they are having with Velocity.
Unless they marketed it more like Boxing does. I don't think the general public would want to pay for wrestling on a Saturday, because its not boxing. Not that many people hold parties/get togethers for wrestling. They should have just left the PPV to Sunday since, lets face it, theres generally not that much going on Sunday nights.

As shown by "Taboo Tuesday" , the state of WWE continues to decline. Put the brands back together already.
