I find this very interesting. For the first time in a long time, I can't wait to see what happens next week on Raw.
Personally, I wasn't too keen on the idea of Orton going face, but the fans would've turned him eventually anyway, with his talent and charisma.
But, it has made for many new possible storylines in the WWE, and has struck an interest in me again, so I think it is a good idea

Yeah, I think it was right. I would like to have seen a bit of tension build up for a couple of weeks between Orton and the rest of Evolution before the turn, but it should, as you say, be very interesting. Orton will pull it off well.

It was inevitable, and further evidence of WWE's creative department finally listening to what the fans want.

To me this seems interesting. When I heard he was turning face I still couldn't believe it. I couldn't imagine him as a face. On monday night, the way how Evolution ditched Orton was a classic. I was suspecting it at first but after a few minutes of Evolution celebrating with Orton I thought it wouldn't happen tonight. When Orton got on Batista's shoulders I thought this might lead to something. When HHH turned his thumb down I almost got a heart attack, omg that was brought out perfectly.

Good timing. I hope Orton doesn't lose is cocky attitude. He reminds me of the Rock in a lot of ways.

Thought it was rushed a bit; I was in favor of a slow, subtle turn. I wanted to see Orton and Trips power struggle to lead Evolution. But I guess we get the big match at Unforgiven instead of Mania21.

It looks as though they were all for a slow burn to a face turn, but combining his reaction to winning the title, the handshake with Benoit, and the crowd reaction, they had no choice but to fast-track the process.
Orton's own reaction was one of genuine delight at winning the title. It seemed as though he wouldnt believe it until he had the title in his hand.
The crowds response has been coming for weeks.
WWE creative team had no choice but to speed this through, and it will be a good thing now for WWE and for Raw.

Personally I think it was a bad idea here is what I would have liked to have seen:
Orton / HHH power struggle as Orton has the belt he belives he is the master and commander this pisses of trip so it seems like the rest back trip.
The have evilution turn on trip leaving the cocky brash Orton in charge and free to leave trip on a one man crusade against evilution.
This cements orton as a top draw and leaves trip to become a tweener that he does so well like when he was with austin you did knw whether to cheer or jeer him
Thats what i think anyways

Trip as a face or as a tweener has never, and would never work.
Trip is at his best as a heel chasing the title. The fact that Randy Orton's reaction was so massive when he won the title, there was just no way they could let the storyline run and run.
They went with the fast-track, and Im sure it will work

I agree. Trips is the ultimate heel. He plays it perfectly.

There is talk that Trip pushed for the quick turn, thinking that Orton wont cope as a solo face, so will crack under the presuure of being World Champ
Then to steady the ship, they put the belt back on the Game.
If this is true, then thats as lame a reason as i have heard.
Cant see HHH doing that, I really cant though

I don't really care about the storylines too much, because the wrestling is awsome. Randy Orton is a pretty good wrestler, so the push might not of been to bad.

Agreed, I am concerned though, if HHH's way of thinking is that it will be easier for him to take the belt from Orton than Benoit.
Then again that would make sense seeing as Orton is not even close to knowing all the ins and outs of backstage politics for himself, as Benoit is.
Granted Orton III will have his dad to help and guide him, to a fashion, but Benoit has been in locker rooms, as an active wrestler for 18 years.
My fear now is, if HHH does see Orton as the easier route to becoming World Champ again, the whole manner that it is done, will sour Orton's demeanour.
He has fast become a charismatic character, and if shafted and used as a pawn in a silly game, then he may become bitter with the industry real quick
That would be sad if that happened
