Guest: _the j-man

The following is from months back of an interview _the j-man did on The Wayne & Shane Show. Warning, some mild language and drug talk is in the following.[/center]
Wayne:[/b] Annnnnd Welcome back to the Wayne and Shane show! I'm Wayne!
Shane:[/b] and I'm Shane, and we again thank you for joining us this afternoon, and to all our friends in Britain who have XM 58 as well.
Wayne:[/b] And Shane, our next guest is the one the wrestling fans have been waiting for. He is swiftly becoming one of the most talked about named in the P2PW for his comedic presence backstage and his "walk-the-line" dialogue. Please welcome Darren Ackerson, known to most as _the j-man.
clapping is heard
Wayne:[/b] Welcome to the Wayne and Shane show, J-man
_the j-man:[/b] Yeah, thanks for having me.
Shane:[/b] Hey, I think I smell weed!
_the j-man laughs
_the j-man:[/b] Naw man, havent hit any tonight. Figured it'd be disrespectful to come to your show completely zoned out.
Wayne:[/b] Hey, we're pretty open-minded here. Anyways, moving on quickly, we know you're a busy man with things to do right now.
_the j-man:[/b] Take your time, I'm in no rush.
Wayne:[/b] Well, the P2PW has been in the spotlight of the wrestling community recently, what with a draft and many commercials being aired to promote the product. Of course, we know that the company split into two show, one being TNT, and the other being the one that you appear on, Blitz!. So, with the split, was Blitz! the initial place that you wanted to be?
_the j-man: [/b] I wanted to be on the Blitz! Roster. I'll be quite honest with you, I had spoke to the General Manger, Stare before the initial draft and told him that I wanted to work for him. He may be a bastard and a son of a bitch, but he has talent and knows how to run an organizaiton. So in the end, you have to go, where the talent goes.
Shane:[/b] So, were you in favor of a draft and did you think it'd benefit the company?
_the j-man:[/b] No, not at all. I thought it would hurt the company. I don't think we have enough active competitors to make this draft work. But I know I'm not being paid in P2PW to make those decisions. I went with whatever the locker room wanted. We had a vote and we voted for a split so I have to live with that.
Wayne: [/b]How much of the roster was for the draft?
_the j-man:[/b] Oh, I don't know for sure, but it was almost 45%. It was a very split decision, but the P2PW Board had apparently made the decision to go with the larger margin, however slim it was. I don't know things for sure, they don't let me know too much.
Shane:[/b] It's cause you're a black man!
everyone is heard laughing
_the j-man: [/b] That must be it, man.
Wayne:[/b] On the subject of that, you're gaining a large fanbase for many reasons, including the fact that you're a HUGE stereotype, or at least viewed as such. Do you think that the only reason you're becoming so popular is because of the fact that you're pushing the envelope?
_the j-man:[/b] Well to me, this is who I am. I developed the "Because I'm a Black Man!" phrase in GWX. It caught on, people are way too sensitive about racism and all that. But you know what, look at the TV, black people are looked up too, we're seen as better athletes, great poets, if you believe rap is poetry like I do. The catch-phrase has so much meaning to it, it really makes you smile when you hear, whether you white, black, latino, oriental, an islander. It's just true, I'm a Black Motherfuckin' Man damnit and I'm proud to be one.
Wayne:[/b] Well are you anything like the j-man characer? I mean, do you smoke weed?
everyone is heard chuckling as _the j-man seems a bit reluctant to answer
Shane:[/b] You, of course, don't have to answer
_the j-man:[/b] Naw, it's cool. Well, I don't know if I'll get in trouble with the boss. But yes, I smoke weed. I like weed, nothing better than wrestling a match, smoking a fat blunt afterwards and relaxing. I mean it's one of the best pain killers around and it keeps your mood very chill. But you know, the White Man would speak otherwise.
Shane: [/b]White people piss me off . .
Shane is heard chuckling to himself
Wayne:[/b] Well, onto other things, including your big match with Nation coming up on Blitz!, and for those who don't know, Nation is the World Champion of the company at the present time. Are you looking forward to that? Like, how did that match come to be?
_the j-man: [/b] Yes, I am. This is the match I wanted. It started out with me calling him out whenever I saw him backstage. I let it be known, I didn't like the guy. I don't like these big guys that barely show-up to shows, walk around as if there more important than you and get praised for it. So I went to management and expressed to them and the locker room why he's no good. I mean have you heard from him since? I haven't. He's too concerned about his personal life to care about his career. So I let it be known I want to carry the torch and I want to be the man around here. I've done it at other places, I know I could dominate here.
Shane: [/b] Well, I believe you kind've hinted at this, but I'll ask anyways, do you guys have a good relationship backstage?
_the j-man: [/b] Hell no! I hate him. I don't talk to him. Whenever I do, I let it be known I'm going to take him out. We never got into a backstage fight, but if we did I would kick that bald-headed white boys ass all over the place. He's a chump. He's a bad World Champion, I said it. I would've much rather seen Stare still holding that Championship Belt.
Wayne:[/b] I'm actually not a fan of Stare. He's a great wrestler, but I never thought he had that x-factor. But, I think our phone lines are opened up
We hear someone in the background reply "yeah, they're up"
Wayne:[/b] Alright, we're going to take some calls, caller 1, you're on the Wayne & Shane show:
Caller #1:[/b] Yeah, ummm, I'm a big wrestling internet fan, and I've been reading the rumors that there was an altercation between J and Smokey. Is there any truth to these rumors?
_the j-man: [/b] Yeah it's true. He pinched my sack, so I hit him in the mouth. He could've just asked me for a bong rip. But we're cool now. He won't do that again.
_the j-man is heard chuckling
Shane:[/b] Wayne pinched my sack once, but not in an angry way
all of the guys are heard laughing
Wayne: [/b] And you're about to get kicked there in a non-friendly way. But, it's good to get the j-man and Smokey story cleared up, next caller, you're on The Wayne & Shane Show
Caller 2:[/b] Hey Darren! I was wondering who your closest friends are backstage? And who do you dislike the most?
_the j-man:[/b] Well, ChadClassic is a really close friend of mine, we work together in ELITE, a fed that Dijon Harte (Lbm) and I own together. Chad is a big help backstage. I'm also good friends with Reaper, our history goes back to FHT when he showed up around there, he initially recruited me into P2PW. He's a good friend, we always speak with each other. Red Ninja, I've known forever and a day as well, he's the hardest worker in the entire industry, the kid always puts out 4 or 5 star matches. Aladdin has also been really cool to me, him and I chat a lot, but now it's going to be a lot harder with us on two different rosters. But he is competing with me in London, England. So it's fun, I love having the guy around, very cool person. The person I dislike the most would have to be Nation & Cactus. Nation just doesn't say much and Cactus opens his damn mouth way too much. He's arrogant and a bastard, I would like to punch him in the face but I'm sure I would get a hefty fine for it.
Wayne:[/b] P2PW have seemed to try and push him a couple of times. Seems he just hasn't gotten over yet, though he is gaining a strong backing now.
Shane: [/b] Well, it takes a while for the fans to forgive you killing a guy.
Wayne:[/b] Next caller, you're on The Wayne & Shane Show!
Caller 3:[/b] Yeah, Stare was given the title upon his return about a year ago. Now, I was one of the ones who hated the guy for abandoning the company. Do you feel as if it was a smack in the face to give him the World Title again? I understand if you can't answer this, J, but I'm just wondering what the tone backstage was of that and if anyone felt like their face had been spit in?
Wayne:[/b] Ahh, this must be John! John, the subject of the night is "the j-man".
John: [/b] Sorry, just trying to get some info
_the j-man: [/b] Naw man, it's not a problem, I'll answer you. Personally I wasn't around for his walk-out. But I know all about walk-outs, I did it with Lbm in FHT. Walked-out on there show and there company, they haven't been the same since. There's reasons why you do such a thing, Stare obvisiously mended fences and came back. He's a great wrestler, he won the title back fairly. If people are going to bitch and moan about that, then they should go do it elsewhere. Instead of bitching maybe you should take a look at yourself and realize why your not getting a title shot. Maybe because YOU SUCK! But I mean I'm just speaking the truth here and the truth hurts.
Wayne:[/b] Alright, we'll take one more call. Hello, you're on The Wayne & Shane Show!
Caller 4:[/b] Hey, I'm a big Nation fan, and I'm glad he won the title. I was wondering why the P2PW has thrown you into a match with him so soon? Do you think you're ready, cause I honestly feel its' a slap in the face to such superstars as Trent Acid and Cactus, guys who should easily be facing him instead of you.
_the j-man:[/b] Ratings baby! I've been earning P2PW ratings.
_the j-man laughs
Wayne:[/b] Straight and to the point!
Shane:[/b] A lot of people are saying you don't deserve the title shot yet, actually.
_the j-man:[/b] Well, it's a Non-Title match anyways, if Trent Acid or Cactus have a problem with that, they can tell me to my face. I'm not a hard person to find because I'll tell them to go fuck themselves. I'm better than those two, I'm more charismatic and frankly I can cut a promo. Trent Acid is a talent, I'll give him that, I'm glad he's a Singles star right now, it was good for him. I see him getting a title shot soon maybe before me, I mean again, it's only a Non-Title match. As for Cactus? Well he hasn't been friendly to me at all, I don't like that guy. I think he's over-rated just like Nation, he's always got an attitude and butts-in with an opinion no one asked about. I would bitch-slap that fool all over the ring if I was given the chance. P2PW Management knows where the talent really is though, that's why I was given the title match because I'm going to give this place ratings. These other guys are just jealous because it took me less than 3 months to make my name known. Why these bitches still trying to earn themselves a main event spot.
Wayne:[/b] Well, you certainly have becoming very well-known, and we thank you for stopping by!
_the j-man:[/b] No problem at all, hope we can do it again sometime.
Shane:[/b] Next time bring Smokey, I love that guy!
_the j-man: [/b] Yeah, he was actually going to come this time, but he is a bit ill.
Shane:[/b] You pinched his nuts again, didnt you?
Everyone is heard laughing
_the j-man:[/b] No, not yet. But, hey, you guys take care, thanks again.
scuffling is heard as _the j-man leaves
Wayne: [/b]Well, that's all for this edition of The Wayne & Shane show! I'm Wayne!
Shane:[/b] And I'm Shane!
Wayne: [/b] Thanks for stopping by!
