I'm glad I didn't order this because it seems as if it would have been a BIG waste of money. Even reading the results online was that bad. RAW IS SHIT right now, and I can only hope things change leading into Cyber Sunday next month. But for those of you who like the product no matter how low it goes, your feedback is welcome so let's run it down. We can start with the bad stuff abd then work our way to the really horrible shit.
John Cena goes over Edge (TLC)
John Cena went over Edge to become three time WWE Champ. He rakes in the cash, but I din't understand why WWE won't make him a heel already. The rap gimmick is obviously dead, so why not just make him a hateful fuck? And I really don't know where Edge goes from here, but as scary as it sounds, I see yet ANOTHER meeting between these two bastards.
DX goes over the McMahons and the Big Show (HIAC)
And from what I read, this was not the final match of the evening. I guess they either wanted to totally embarrass Edge by having him job in his hometown or they realized this one has run its course and decided to midcard it. In any event, I hope we get something new now. I'm up for a Triple H/Randy Orton program as well as Edge/Shawn Michaels, or both. Neither involve title belts and could be pretty fun if you thing about it.
The rest was shit. There is no confidence in Jeff Hardy (what a suprise) but that loss just negated all the hype of his return. Dumb move if you ask me. WWE continues to bury Carlito after such a promising start. (Remember Jesus?) And Trish wins the belt on her way out. A good way to retire but silly logistics for a championship match. Thoughts please....

While channel flicking, I caught the H.I.A.C. match. Was ok. Not a classic or anything, but ok. When the women's title match came on, I switched to Emmanuelle on the Sci-Fi channel.

Once again, poor booking... It is like the WWE doesn't want to make the fans interested, I would have felt ripped off paying for it (But I'm English, so we got it for free). Edge looks like a total jobber now, he can't beat Cena clean, or with the odds on his side, or anything other than Lita practically getting half the offence. DX/McMahon + Show made no sense as well, why Big Show? And why didn't they bring Sabu into the HIAC? And why did "serious" DX shove McMahon into Big Show's ass? That added nothing to that feud.
Trish was a respect thing, I guess, but doesn't help matters. Highlanders losing against the rapidly dying Spirit Squad has again put the breaks on the Tag Division, Johnny Nitro is so bland I actually want Jeff to win the belt, Carlito/Orton had no heat, and therefore mattered none, since it didn't tie into Lita/Trish. And the rip-off that was Kane/Umaga... Once again, WWE puts the card out, but disappoints on booking

Ok I think there is something wrong with the both of you two. I thought Unforgiven was an good PPV. From what your are saying your making it sound like SS. I quite enjoied this PPV when I'm being honest. The IC title match was a great opener and a great match. The tag match and monster matches were nothin. But who cared anyway.
The HIAC was a good match nothing that would say MOTY but a good main event type match. The womans match was pretty generic but with the crowd had the cena/HHH feel. The Orton/Carlito match was short and sweet and really showed that Carlito is made for the main event. Then the main event, man what a match! It was 25mins of pure TLC non-stop action. 10/10 match for sure, Cena won. Get over it, doesn't mean the match sucked!

see i dont normally agree with simz, mostly cos he smells, but i enjoyed this ppv, i thought the hiac was good and the tlc match was awesome, kane and umaga will continue and kane will end umagas winning streak soon enough, hardy should have won, but it wasnt a bad match.
the highlanders/ss match was terrible and having 5 people share the tag belts annoys me.
trish was always gonna win and as soon as jr started rambling on about moolah and trish both winning the title 6 times, it was even more obvious.
poor old carlito

First of all, i have to say it was a good PPV but the ending with Cena winning just ruined it for me. I'll talk about it a bit later.
I thought the set was pretty awesome.
Nitro/Hardy - Great match to begin the show. I seriously think Nitro is an excellent worker (by WWE standards). He has the whole pschology thing down last night, working away at Hardy's leg throughout the match. The guys has a good array of move, including some great aerial ones and he does everything with a sense of style. Plus he's great at selling other people's moves. Hardy did a good job and he's proven he can string a good match together if he's motivated. I marked for his running on the barricade thing, but just as he was about to do it i was worried he would fuck it up and kill someone in the audience. Good match and good outcome. Nitro is a future star, there's no need for him to drop the title to Hardy just because he's making his return. Hardy won't lose much momentum because of it, and it's not like he would have been a long term champ anyways; he would have ended up dropping the title back to Nitro. WWE are booking the IC Title feuds well at the moment, making sure there aren't too many title changes.
Seeing Team Extreme together again was awesome, but Lita sounded a tad retarded in her delivery. And Matt & Jeff looked stupid by not putting up a fight.
UMAGA/Kane - Meh. I forwarded past most of this match. Saw the ending, which was lame. When they disappeared behind the set, i was expecting one of them to be thrown through it. That would have made for something memorable but they decide to make it a sterotypical feud.
I forwarded past the Vince/Shane segment, much like i do on Raw.
Highlanders/Spirit Squad - Nothing special but i do quite like the Highlanders. They know they're not great in the ring so they make up for it by showing off what they are good at and that's entertainment. Seemed a bit weird to carry on this feud, maybe the WWE thought the Spirit Squad need at least one PPV win.
HIAC - I thought it was a bit of a waste of a HIAC match for what they did. I mean, they could have done what they did without it. It was an entertaining match but that's mainly because of the number of people in it. It was one of the worst HIACs but it was still good. Damn, Big Show's ass is huge. Vince and Shane did a great job, they looked dead after it. Shane looked so scary after the match. Oh yeah, and it seems the only real reason they wanted the Big Show in this match was so that he could get Vince's head shoved up his ass. Stupid. That's twice they've had "WWE superstars" go over the ECW Champion on PPV. So, not only did DX bury the Spirit Squad in this feud, but they buried ECW as well. Good job.
Lita/Trish - Decent match. Trish and Lita definitely gave it there all. You could tell Trish was nervous, she slipped while she was climbing up the steps and she dropped the title when she was given it. I absolutely LOVED the ending. Trish doing the sharpshooter was the perfect was to end her career, i thought. The crowd fell in love with her at that point. I'm really sad that she's gone but i'm happy that she's leaving with her head held high. Her celebration was very nice and Lilian crying made it better.
Carlito/Orton - This match was good but way too short. Although i love Carlito, he needs to lay off the aerial moves a bit and just work a good grounded match. For his longer matches, he can go all out with the high-flying but not for these cramped ones. I did love the Springboard Somersault Senton followed by the moonsault though. That was awesome. The best thing was that he busted Orton's face up with his elbow. I really can't stand Orton right now. He's given so many chances and he always fucks up. And that's why i'm upset about the winner of the match. Sure, the finish was awesome but Carlito should have won and needed to. He hasn't done anything since turning face, and this would have been huge for him. Orton on the other hand will be over whatever he does to be honest. The guy recently failed a drug test and is suspended (under the new rules so he just doesn't get paid for 30 days but still appears on TV), so WWE should have punished him by making him job to Carlito.
Edge/Cena - I loved the entrances. Edge got such a big ovation and he deserves it. Cena got booed like crazy and he deserved it. When Edge lifted up his title, i could see him holding back the tears as he was being announced as the WWE champion and the hometown hero. That was a big moment for him and i really wish that he could have had his moment after the match too. I saw in his eyes that he was going to lose. I could tell he was upset and i felt he didn't put his all into the match. He was definitely holding back but nevertheless did a good job. Cena was okay. The match just seemed to be spot after spot after spot with no real psychology or anything. Edge/Flair > Edge/Cena. It was an underwhelming match. Cena looked upset as well after the match which was weird; he looked as if he believed he shouldn't have won the match either.
Man, i'm so sad Edge got embarrassed like that in front of his hometown in his match. He's been buried and i don't seem him recovering from it for a while. I don't know where he goes from here. Him losing was a huge injustice.

While channel flicking, I caught the H.I.A.C. match. Was ok. Not a classic or anything, but ok. When the women's title match came on, I switched to Emmanuelle on the Sci-Fi channel. Emmanuelle? Isn't that a semi-porn movie?? WWE is shit right now... Everything is predictable...

Unforgiven was an awesome ppv, I thought. At least, in comparison to the other WWE stuff going on recently.

Isn't that a semi-porn movie? Yeah, it's kinda semi-semi porn. You see boobs and pretend sex. The boobs are always kinda pert and damn nice, though. Yeah, the WWE and wrestling in general sucks a little just now. TNA is watchable. But remember the generalization, people. Remember and never forget.
