It is important that all rules are followed to make the visits to our board enjoyable and stress free. Please read each and every one and abide by them. Failure to do so may result in a banning, or a termination of your account. We do not wish to have to do either, but we won't hesitate should such action be required.
More rules may be added as staff see fit. p2p Wrestling Forums reserve the right to change any rule at any time, making it effective immediately.
1) No Flaming - There is to be no flaming outside of the Flame Grilled forum. Obviously, jokes are allowed, but there is a fine line between flaming and joking, so please do not cross it. Even when in the Flame Grilled forum, you are expected to use common sense. Any offenders will be warned.
2) No Spamming - Do not spam the forum or the pm system. This means, do not make useless topics posts, or continually send private messages to other members that serve no purpose. The only place to postwhore is in the Flame Grilled froum. Do not double post for the sake of it. Use the edit button. No posting of topics continually in the wrong froum.
3) Use The Search Function - The search is there to be used, so please use it before making a new topic because, as the board gets older, the chances are that the topic you want to post may already be there.
4) No Nude Images - There are to be NO nude images posted on the forums. Any posters who do so may be banned with no questions asked for a time to be determined by the staff. If the image is particularly offensive, you may be given an indefinate banning. Posting a link to a site, where the page displays nudity is also against the rules. This also applies to any pictures of human disfugurement. A warning will be issued in this case.
5) Give Proper Credit - No one likes having their work stolen. Do NOT post anyone's work unless you give credit to them in your post. This is in reference to anyone connected with the board or not. It also applies to news stories. To give credit simply put:
Credit: Your Source
6) Don't argue the rules - The rules are not open for discussion. The rules are very reasonable, therefore, do not argue with a memeber of staff if one is broken. They will not be changed, unless staff see fit to do so.
7) Don't Start A Fight - Please don't "start shit just to start shit." This means, don't make a personal attack on someone to provoke them. If you have an issue with someone on another board, then please leave it there. It is not welcomed here.
8) Don't Give Out Your Password - There is no need for this what-so-ever. Not even to a staff member, as we can access your profile through other means. Don't even give it to your best friend on the board.
9) No Alter Egos - There is no need to have more than one account here at p2p Wrestling Forums. If you are found out to have more than one, you will be asked which one you want to keep and the other(s) will be deleted.
10) Do Not Give Out Personal Information - If you know something about another poster, do not post it on the forum unless you have their consent to do so. This is very serious, as everyone deserves their own privacy and respect. In short, please do not invade anyone's privacy on the forums.
This also goes for messenger chats, e-mails, PM's etc. Do not post what has been said in a convo from any of the above without the consent of the other person(s).
11) Contribute To The Board - Do not sign up just to promote your website. If you do, it will be locked immediately. If you wish to advertise with us, send a PM to 'admin' and we'll add you to our affiliates, as long as you advertise p2p at your site and we think your site will be beneficial to us.
You may post a link in your sig without asking either admin, as long as the site is appropriate, ie. no porn, vulgar or profanity based sites etc.
12) Do Not Hotlink Images - Under no circumstances, should any poster hotlink an image from another site. This means taking the image and using it as your own, by using the images original url, instead of hosting it yourself. Not only is this against ProBoards Terms Of Service, but it's basically stealing.
13.) Board Images May NOT Exceed 400,000 bytes - Upon your decision to use an image for an avatar, signature, or to be posted, please be certain that it does not exceed 400,000 bytes. If you are not sure of the size of the image, simply right-click the image, select properties, and look at the size.
If it says "size not available" and a staff member believes it to be too big, it will be removed.
If you do use an image over 400,000 bytes, it will be removed and you will receive a pm that it has been done. If it becomes a habit that you are continuously using images over 400,000 bytes, you will be subject to receive a warning.
If you are in violation of any of these rules, you will be sent a PM containing a warning clearly marked as being official. A second violation will result in you being warned in the forum you broke the rule in, again, making no mistake that it is official. You will receive a PM pointing you in the direction of the thread. A third violation of the rules will result in a banning with an e-mail sent to you as notice of the ban. The staff at p2p Wrestling Forums will decide on the length of your ban as we see fit. Depending on the severity of the case, a lifetime ban may be issued.
Berating a staff member to lift a ban on a banned member may result in you being banned also. If anyone who has been banned wishes to appeal, you may only do so by replying to the e-mail sent to you. We will then reply with a detailed response clearly giving you an answer. If the ban still stands, there will be no more appealing.
A PM warning will expire three months after being issued. If you are on a public warning, you will go back down to a PM warning after three months, meaning that you will be issued with another public warning, should you break a rule. If you are on a public warning, it will take six months for your warning level, if you will, to go down. If it appears that you are constantly being warned every three months for example, we will issue a ban. Please do not force our hand on taking such action.
You may also receive a warning for other things not specified in the rules.
p2p Wrestling Forums reserve the right to change the rules at anytime, without giving any notice.
Thanks,
The p2p Staff.
