Repost from CFoT.
This mainly affects Admins and Global Moderators, yet I want to alert everyone to this...
This was posted by All Seeing Eyes (a GM at ProBoards Support) about 30 minutes ago:
If you are contacted by this person, please ignore / block him, and DO NOT give him your password for any of your accounts.

Yup, this I know. Thanks for the heads up though, Warlock. It's better that everyone knows about this.

Told you guys AIM sucked when we all use to gather in chat when this board was being created. Ha!
Seriously though, thanks for the heads-up Warlock.

Thanks for the warning LHW, but why would you give your password to some body, yet someone you barley know?
Are people realy giving out their passwords to this guy?

Actually, it happens more often than you'd think. Why? Because the average ProBoards Admin is only 13-17 years old.
If you want to see a whole bunch of people that honestly have no clue what they're doing with their messageboard, or that don't know how to use a PC in general, you should hang out at the Support Forum for a day or two...it makes the worst poster you've ever known look good by comparison.

Well, pick whomever is on the top of your Worst Posters Ever list. Some of the "support" questions include the following (yes, these are all legit):
I've just created my messageboard: now what do I do?
How do I find out who the person named "admin" on my board is?
How do I create a poll?
What does the "Bump" button do?
It says I have 11 new PMs...what are they, and how do I see them?
And, for the record, I've cleaned up the spelling and grammar. Also, these aren't the worst I've seen, either.
I really give the people at ProBoards credit: they have more patience than I do.

It is hard enough starting you on board yet not knowing a thing about how they work. Probaly 30 % of all Boards are still in grey and yellow!

Those are the default colours that any new created ProBoard starts with, Eez. Besides, I doubt SIMZ has ever been to CFoT.

Repost from CFoT.
Recently, Zanmato Designs (the #2 ProBoard forum in regards to codes and such) was hacked. The culprits basically used an MSN keylogger to gain access to someone's account, convinced an Admin to promote them "to try something," and then demoted this Admin. Luckily, another Admin was online, saw what was happening, and stopped it before it got too out of hand.
While they can certainly use others, the current MSN IDs that you should block are:
necronadim@hotmail.com MushMush146@hotmail.com c3_2005@hotmail.co.uk msn_bot15@hotmail.com
Again, please be suspicious of any "person" that seems to be asking strange questions, and do not EVER give out your password to anyone that asks for it via a chat engine.
Also, it would be my recommendation to avoid the C3 Designs ProBoard (the "home" of the hackers). While they may, and I stress the word may have done this as a joke, I, personally, would not trust them in regards to anything having to do with ProBoards. Nor will I be providing the URL to their site.
