It seems come September ECW will be returning as a full time sub brand of the WWE.
The roster will be a combine on former ECW talent and OVW talent, headed by Paul Heyman and Tommy Dreamer
thoughts on this?

I never liked ECW. I don't care that much.

This is so smart. I bet WWE will have it on . . . hmm, Thursday Nights? And, I bet it'll steal a lot of TNA's viewers. Also, this would be a great environment to send some of the unused WWE talent that can work hardcore matches.
Awesome news

I highly doubt it'll really be anything like the real ECW, but it'll be nice to see a new brand with mostly non-wwe talent on TV.

Well, at least they're well-led. One of the most influential ECW superstars and the ECW owner (at one point). This might actually work.

Can't really see it working out.
Like what'd they do for joint brand PPVs? It's either extend the time or cut back so much on matches.

I'll believe it when I see it.
Mind you a lot of former ECW guys are contracted to either TNA or WWE.
One would hope they get New Jack.

I'd keep this brand out of the ppv's, they have too many as it is. I'd put their big monthly show on USA, or whatever channel hosts the tv show.

Apparently, it's either going to replace AM Raw (it definetly won't be ECW), or will be online. Hopefully, they change their minds on that one.
I dont know why everyone is doubting it being like the old ECW. I mean, let's not forget that the WWE put on a good ECW PPV one year ago, and I bet the same people saying this won't work thought ONS would be a joke. Sure, it was the ECW stars, but what's the difference now? They're going to do it more often with hopefully more ECW stars. I dont know any reason why this couldnt work.
