TNT's Plethora - Preview, Promos, & Voting

Shinn’s Theory is shown pacing, back and forth, outside of Mary Lindsay’s office. He stops and leans in towards the door, listening. Suddenly, MVP-Don appears, startling Theory.

MVP-Don:[/b] Sorry bro. Didn’t mean to scare ya. Any word yet on the third participant yet?

Shinn’s Theory:[/b] Not yet.

Theory begins pacing again.

Shinn’s Theory:[/b] I was able to finalize your match though. You said you wanted to come back and clean some house around here. So, I tossed you in a Handicapped Match.

MVP-Don:[/b] Good thinking mate. Two birds with one stone... Anyone I know?

Shinn’s Theory holds one finger up. He then leans in towards the door. After a brief moment, he begins his pace.

Shinn’s Theory:[/b] Actually, I’m sure you remember Stevo316. He’ll be one of your opponents. The other is someone you have yet to meet. His name is The Eye of the Storm.

MVP-Don[/b] Sounds easy enough.

Shinn’s Theory:[/b] I don’t know brotha. Stevo316 has had built a rep around here for being an “on and off” wrestler. He alone may be a task. The Eye of the Storm is near seven feet tall and over 300 hundred pounds.

MVP-Don lets out a small chuckle.

MVP-Don:[/b] Shinn’s.... Consider the job done.

MVP-Don slaps Theory on the back of the shoulder.

MVP-Don:[/b] I’m going to get ready. Keep me up to date, will ya?

Shinn’s Theory:[/b] Will do.

MVP-Don walks off. Theory presses his ear against the door. “The Tiger” Aladdin is shown walking into frame.


”The Tiger” Aladdin:[/b] Any progress?

Shinn’s Theory:[/b] Not yet. And these damn doors must be made of some thick ass metal.

”The Tiger” Aladdin:[/b] Why don’t you just go sit in on the meeting?

Shinn’s Theory:[/b] Because he really wanted to finalize this on his own.

”The Tiger” Aladdin:[/b] Do you trust him?

Shinn’s Theory:[/b] He wouldn’t be sitting in there, alone, if I didn’t.

”The Tiger” Aladdin:[/b] True...

Aladdin ducks below Theory and presses his ear against door. Suddenly, Gormy is shown walking up behind them.

Gormy:[/b] Is there a slumber party in there? You guys trying to listen to a chick pillow fight?

Theory and Aladdin slowly turn towards Gormy. Gormy rolls her eyes.

Gormy:[/b] Pervs...

Shinn’s Theory:[/b] Oh, pipe down. We’re waiting for...

Gormy:[/b] Blah blah blah blah... I could care less.

Gormy looks into Aladdin’s eyes.

Gormy:[/b] Are you ready to feel the fire? Heh...

”The Tiger” Aladdin:[/b] Are you gearing yourself up to lose your title on TNT?

Gormy:[/b] Fat chance kiddo...

Gormy laughs as she walks off.

”The Tiger” Aladdin:[/b] She gets under my skin.

Shinn’s Theory:[/b] She get’s under everybody’s skin.

The two men watch Gormy walk off. Aladdin then turns towards Theory.

”The Tiger” Aladdin:[/b] Even though I’m anxious to hear, I really should prepare for my match. Let me know as soon as you hear anything.

Shinn’s Theory:[/b] Will do...

Aladdin walks off, leaving Theory standing in front of the door. He slowly reaches for the doorknob. Just before he can grab a hold of it, Simz approaches.

Simz:[/b] What’s the verdict?

Theory shakes his head.

Shinn’s Theory:[/b] Oye...

Theory sighs.

Shinn’s Theory:[/b] That appears to be the question of the hour.

Suddenly the door to Mary Lindsay’s office opens. TNT Commissioner, Anthony McKenna, is shown backing out of the office as he shakes hands with Mrs. Lindsay.

Anthony McKenna:[/b] Thank you Mary. You won’t regret this.

Mary nods before closing her door. McKenna turns towards Theory.

Shinn’s Theory:[/b] Well?

Anthony McKenna:[/b] He’s in...

Shinn’s Theory:[/b] Nice.

Theory shakes McKenna’s hand.

Simz:[/b] Well? Who the hell is it.

Shinn’s Theory:[/b] You’ll see...

McKenna and Theory laugh as they begin to walk down the hallway, leaving Simz behind. The camera follows the pair.

Shinn’s Theory:[/b] This is great. You know, if he can pull off this win, he would make a fine first ever P2PW Heavyweight Champion.

Anthony McKenna:[/b] You got that right...

The pair continues to walk. Their trek ends at a locker room door. McKenna quietly knocks.

Voice:[/b] Come in...

McKenna opens the door and walks in. Theory follows closely behind.

Anthony McKenna:[/b] It’s done man... You’re in...

Theory closes the locker room door, leaving the cameraman outside. As the door closes, The cameraman pulls his focus on the occupant’s name. The door reads “Red Ninja”.

Ok, that's enough. There's a reason I'm doing this and it's because you smarks out there are really getting at me. I read what you said about me on this site. Saying my appearance on the Chopping Block was weak. And that I didn't deliver what I had promised. Ok, you want Mr. Fantastic to turn it up to 11? Let's roll. I'll start by saying that the reason my promo wasn't four-star like my usual was the freaking emotionless, robot who stood there asking the lamest questions ever. Seriously, how is it that "The Executioner" gets his own segment and TNT's most entertaining performer doesn't? Well, right here and right now that changes. Because this is the first edition of.... The House of F. Yes, it's a comic book reference and you geeks should totally get it.

Basically, I've taken some of YOUR comments and thought I would respond to them.

First one is from, dennycrane47- "Man, Aladdin is gonna tear up that has been or never was Firefly. Why they brought him back, I couldn't tell ya."

Oh, sure, believe what you wanna believe. Aladdin may be the new, hottest thing but ask about me. I am by far the most DANGEROUS guy on the TNT roster. Yeah, my main goal is to have classic matches every time out but this time folks, this one's for gold. And not just any gold, The Rage Title. So, if you want to sit there and think Aladdin actually has the heart to even stay with me at Plethora, go ahead. But you're gonna be disappointed.

From basincitymarv- "Dude, Firefly/Gormy would suck ass. Anybody remember Firefly/Wench?"

Matter of fact, I do remember Firefly/Wench. I also remember her becoming my beloved. And ya know something, Gormy, I've been lonely. Very, very lonely and if it comes down to me against you for the Rage Title, I think I shall enjoy that a lot. (evil grin)

From wonkabar- "I can't wait for an interpromotional show. (edited for lame shoutouts) and we definately gotta see Firefly vs. Cactus. Those guys laid it down back in the day.

For once, someone who actually knows a little something. Cactus is one of those people you can ask about how far I can take things. I am the most dangerous guy on TNT and Cactus, to his credit, is the most dangerous guy on Blitz. So if the time comes where we get a shot at each other, I know he's up for it and so am I.

Ok, I posted that one but it doesn't make it any less true. I'm starting out '06 in the main event at a TNT PPV. That's already more that I got the entire time I was in P2P before. To quote Al Pacino in The Devil's Advocate, "It's my time now."

"The Tiger" Aladdin vs. Firefly Promo

The scene opens to show Aladdin sitting on a leather sofa in his personal changing room, a few hours before Plethora has begun. Aladdin leans over to pick up his bag from the floor. He places it next to him and unzips it; he grabs a roll of tape out of it and peels the tape from the roll, before rolling it around his wrist. Suddenly there is a knock on the door. Aladdin, without moving, shouts.

Aladdin: Come in!

Aladdin looks up as the door opens to see Anthony McKenna standing in the doorway.

Aladdin: Hey! Mr. Mck… Ant! What can I do for you?

McKenna walks over to the sofa. Aladdin quickly rips the tape from the roll and stands up in respect, offering the TNT commissioner his hand. McKenna shakes the tournament finalist’s hand, before speaking.

Aladdin: What’s up man?

McKenna: Nothing much kid, I just wanted a word with you. You got a minute?

Aladdin: Sure thing, I was just getting ready for a warm up.

McKenna: That’s good to hear kid. You’re the first one here, and you’re already getting ready. That’s exactly why I wanted to speak to you.

Aladdin looks at McKenna as if he’s surprised. He sits back down, and then gestures for Ant to take a seat.

McKenna: You’re good kid, you’re real good. It’s no secret. The fans know it, I know it but more importantly Gormy knows it. You obviously know that she’s the guest referee in tonight’s match. You know she’s not going to be straight up. She knows that you are the biggest threat to her. She knows that you’re the future of TNT. So, with her new attitude adjustment in mind, she’s going to try and screw you out of the number one contendership.

Aladdin: I never thought otherwise. If I get in her face about anything, she’ll disqualify me.

McKenna pats Aladdin on the knee lightly.

McKenna: Well, I just wanted you to know that as the enforcer I’m going to do whatever I must to keep her in order. This tournament so far has been legit. You, especially, paid your dues going through everyone in your way with no favours given to you. And I want to keep this thing legit. As I said before, I believe the winner of this tournament can bring back prestige to the Rage Title as long as the best man wins.

Aladdin puts on a cocky smile.

Aladdin: Don’t worry, I will.

McKenna: I know you can Aladdin.

McKenna stands up, followed by Aladdin.

Aladdin: Call me Al. And I can, and I will….See you out there.

McKenna: I guess I won’t wish you luck then, because I know you’re going to say you don’t need it. See you out there then….Al.

As McKenna starts to leave, the door flies open and Gormy walks into the room.

Gormy: Hi there tiger!

Aladdin: Hey.

Gormy looks confused.

Gormy: Huh?

Aladdin: I’m tiger.

Gormy: No, he’s tiger.

Aladdin: Are you stupid? I’m “The Tiger” Aladdin.

Gormy: Since when?

McKenna: Let me clear this all up. His full ring name is “The Tiger” Aladdin. But Gormy always calls me tiger. So…..hi Gormy. Sorry, but I don’t feel like talking to you right now, I’ve got more enojyable things to do like put my head in an oven.

Gormy sarcastically laughs and makes a disgusted face at McKenna as he leaves, also disgusted by her. McKenna then says something to himself.

McKenna: Muppet.

Gormy looks back at him, having heard what he said but by the time she fully turns around the door closes. Gormy walks over to Aladdin, flaunting the Rage Title on her shoulder.

Aladdin: If it isn’t the ugly transvestite.

Gormy has a pissed off expression on her face.

Gormy: Don’t push my buttons kitty. You don’t know what I’m capable of.

Aladdin looks down at her crotch area.

Aladdin: Trust me Gormy, I don’t want to push anything of you, apart from pushing that Rage Title off your shoulder and onto mine. It’s going to happen, Gormy. It’s just a matter of time. My star is rising and yours is sinking. You ain’t got noth…

Gormy stops Aladdin from talking by covering his mouth with her finger. She starts to talk herself as Aladdin bitterly removes her finger.

Gormy: You sure like to run your mouth a lot, kid. But you have no idea about what I’ve been through in my career. I’ve faced bigger giants than you, and even being a woman…

Aladdin interrupts her.

Aladdin: You mean transvestite…

Gormy angrily continues.

Gormy: …even being a WOMAN I conquered those giants. So you may be the next big star in this company but you haven’t got the heart and that’s what separates the big stars from the great stars…

Aladdin, suddenly infuriated, interrupts Gormy again.

Aladdin: I haven’t got the heart? I haven’t got the heart? Do you know me? You said I have no idea about your career. Well do you know anything about mine? Don’t you, for a second, think that you’ve faced larger obstacles than me. Sure, you’re a woman and so you faced your fair amount of prejudice. But look at me. I’m brown. How many brown wrestlers have you seen, who’ve made it big. I’ve faced prejudice, even from my own. My own people didn’t think I would make it and thought that wrestling was no career for someone like me. Do you really think I don’t have the heart for this business now? I stuck at it when my own people were trying to get me out. Have you ever faced something like that?

Gormy has a blank look on her face.

Aladdin: We both come from England, so I’m not going to go on about the difficulties of making it in the US for a Brit, because you already know. I’ve been through a million different companies. I’ve paid my dues and now I’m ready to reap the benefits. So Gormy, I’m glad you’re here to hear this. That belt is the most important thing to me at the moment and there’s nothing anyone can do to stop me from winning it.

Gormy is speechless, and starts to back off.

Aladdin: I’ll see you out there, ref.

Gormy: May the best man win.

Gormy smirks as she walks out of Aladdin’s room. As Gormy leaves, a camera crew is seen waiting behind the door.

Aladdin:Come in, guys. I want to record this little promo quickly, so that I can get on with what I have to do. Just set it up in front of me. Nothing elaborate.

The camera crew place their equipment on the floor, before piecing it all together. Once they’ve finished, one of them signals to Aladdin that they’re rolling. Aladdin merely positions himself square in front of the camera, with his upper body and face in the view of the camera.

Aladdin: So here I am in the finals of this tournament. One step away from getting the opportunity to wrestle for the Rage Title. Firefly is that one stepping stone that I have to conquer. Now, I said it before and I’ll say it again, I don’t know a whole lot about Firefly and quite honestly I don’t need to because when I step onto my hunting grounds no past history matters. Nothing that you’ve done in you career will help you tonight because your future is me tearing you to pieces and picking up the victory.

Aladdin pauses for a moment.

Aladdin: Firefly, I saw you playing with your fancy webcams and reading your little fan mail. That’s real cute kid. You talk about being the most dangerous man in P2PW but what have you done to prove that to me Mr. Craptastic? I’ve proven many times that I am the best wrestler on this roster, time and time again. You’ve proven to me that you’re one boring son of a bitch. You asked me to watch the chopping black and I did, and man was I bored. For god’s sake junior, you had a sleeper hold on the whole audience. If your little House of F…aggots is going to be like that then let me give you a little advice…don’t waste your time.

Aladdin pauses once more.

Aladdin: Tonight will be a night to remember. The first every P2PW Heavyweight Champion will be crowned. Now even though that’s the Heavyweight Title, just like when Rob Van Dam held the TV Title in ECW, the Rage title will mean more because I went through two of the three participants to get to the final of this tournament, and I’ve beaten the other one before as well. That’s exactly why my match is the main event. A place on the card which I will intend to make my own and it’s all because 2006 is the year of the Tiger.

Aladdin stares into the camera as the crew switch on the fader. Once of the camera men signal to Aladdin that they’ve cut. Aladdin picks up a few weights from his bag and straps them around his wrists and ankles. He picks up a bottle of water and takes a sip as he walks over to the door, waiting for the camera crew to pack up and leave. As they do, Aladdin opens the door for them and follows them out, setting out for a jog as the scene ends.

As "Wake Up" is playing loudly through the speakers, Stevo makes his way down the aisle with a mic in hand and a pissed off look on his face.

The crowd are booing him all the way to the ring, but Stevo has heard it all before and does not seem bothered by it.

As Stevo climbs into the ring the music stops and some of the crowd are of the seats giving him more abuse.

One fan is heard by Stevo. Stevo turns around and looks at the fan before giving him the finger.

" Well What a match I've got tonight. MVP-Don. All I can say is I dont know who you are. There is a rumour going around that you are one of the old skool around here. WELL I'VE GOT SOME NEWS FOR YOU - SCHOOLS OVER AND YOUR GONNA LEARN THE HARD WAY OF LIFE IN THIS BUSINESS. "

YOU THINK YOU KNOW IT ALL BUT YOU HAVE NOT FACED ME YET. OK I HAVE A PARTNER FOR THIS MATCH BUT I'M GONNA BE CARRYING THIS TEAM TO VICTORY.

AND AS FOR YOU STORM, I JUST HOPE YOU HAVE MY BACK. THE LAST TIME I HAD A TAG TEAM PARTNER WAS DEACON PASTOR DOLLAR BILL AND WE ALL KNOW WHAT HAPPENED THERE. I GOT SCREWED.

MVP- DON, THIS IS GONNA BE THE FIRST TIME WE'VE FOUGHT AND FOR YOU IT WILL BE THE LAST.

NOW GIVE ME A DAMN BEER!

An assistant throws a few beers to Stevo who raises the cans in the air and downs them both.

"Wake Up" hits and Stevo walks off, still with a pissed of look on his face.

Scene opens with Red Ninja sitting back in a chair in a lockeroom.

RN:Waiting,waiting,waiting. For months thats what I was forced to do, wait. Wait as others around me in this lockeroom got their shot to fight one of the champions to possibly fullfil their destiny of being somebody in this company. You know I had a long road to get to here, the spot Im in right now as a challenger to win a singles belt, something that I've wanted ever since I realized that being a Tag Team guy wasnt the spot I wanted to be in, it was time that made my name here without the help of a partner or a group for Red Ninja to branch out and become someone in a compay full of stars he'd have to do it on his own. I know some people back here seem to think I dont deserve this. There's been some talk probably behind my back that this spot that Im getting should go to someone else, someone who's more deserving. But when you think about it, who's more deserving in this company to get a shot at any title than me.

I've been in P2PW since the beginning, in those early days I was still just a rookie, I was another kid who was looking to make his name in a sport that cared about almost more than anything. I won a belt quick into my P2PW career, it was a good vibe, being a champion, but deep down I wanted something more. I wanted to be the holder of a belt that truly got the attention of everyone not just in the company, but in the entire sport.

For awhile I tried to branch out I tried to go for some singles success, I came close once, I was inches away from getting what I could call my arrival into the singles ranks. It was the International Title, I fought and fought with all I had to win it, but in the end it wasnt to be. That was my first shot, I had a taste, a glimpse of what could have awaited me. But I wasnt good enough, no matter what I did it wasnt the caliber that was needed to hold a belt on my own.

I eventually got another chance from the P2PW office. This match could have been something huge, it could have been a payoff that could have set the rest of my career here. It was a match for the P2PW title. The biggest prize that was offered, it had been vacated, a spot was voided, the company was looking for someone to step up their game and become a star. I felt that I was ready for it, I was ready to reach out and grab the biggest, shiniest,brassiest ring in the whole company. But again it wasnt to be. Someone else got that shot, that elevation. Leaving me with nothing again.

After that I kind of dissapeared from P2PW for a few months before coming back. But instead of continuing my singles run I was back in what got me success in the first place, I was in a tag team. It was a team that I was in back in the old days of P2PW, that was the Insanity, a team I formed with two guys who I thought would be my friends forever. I was back in the tag team saddle. And eventually once again I was at the top of the tag team scene. It was a good feeling to be a champion again, but once deep down I wanted something a bit more. But I was still happy with what I got, so Id make the most of it, and have a title reign that would legendary. I did have a good run I felt, I was faced with some of the most threatening teams in P2PW.

Along the way though we were upset by an upstart team and lost the tag titles, but we were to strong to let what we won, what we fought for slip away from us like that. We regrouped, came back and took what meant most away from the team that wanted to take our spot as the number one team in the whole company. In that moment I forgot all about what I wanted to do as a singles wrestler. I was focused on gettting my spot as one half of the top tag team back. When I held that belt for the third time, I felt a rush, I felt that in a way the attention was on what I was doing and what I was accomplishing.

I thought maybe this was my goal here, my destiny was to be on top of the tag teams. But we all know what happened there, so here I was again. Looking, waiting and wanting to find my new spot, a new way that I could fit into the puzzle that is this company.

I was back on my own, I was my own man, I was again coming from a division that I had great success in to another one where I didnt really find to much luck in.

This run has been something to learn from this time, my first match on my own I got beat by NIN Horror, a guy who was new to the company. And a guy who hadnt made his name yet, I thought maybe the odds were in my favour, but by the end of the night I got beat. From there on I just kept doing what I do, I always hoped that the next match, that next time the door could be open for me.

Than this tournament for the contendership of the Rage Title was announced. I thought this was it, I thought here it could be, Red Ninjas chance. I went through the first two rounds pulling wins over guys who were bigger,stronger and tougher than I was. But in the third round I was faced off against Aladdin, a guy who like me was young,talented and hungry. Out of the guys that I faced in that tournament, Aladdin was the guy I was keeping my eye on. There was those who said that he had what was needed to win. He was the favourite, most wanted to go with the newer guy. I went into the match again trying to out do my opponent. I had to see beyond the hype, I had to keep what was said out of my mind. I tried but once again I got shut down.

When that I happened I sat back and I realized something. I realized that I've been here a good while, and in that time I've sat back and I've watched as guys like Nation, like Shane Montez,NIN Horror, J man and Aladdin have all entered this fed in a short time they've become big stars. They were given chances, and they didnt drop the ball or anything. Meanwhile I still get nothing to really show except the tag team runs. It made me think if people in here consider me a guy who elevates the new guys into positions that maybe he should get. People tell me Im good, but I feel that Im missing something, some spark,something that could set me apart from everyone.

The matchmakers here in P2PW seem to not want to give up on me. They want to keep giving me shots, they want me to break out, they now I got something, they think I might be down on myself, but Im not, I know that someday what I've wanted will come to me.

Plethora could be my night. I know I say that abit but I got a good feeling about this. Anthony Mckenna I want to show you that you didnt waste this oppurtunity on me, I want to show my graditude for whats been giving to me here. You guys know im good and you know that I got a fire inside me. I want to be somebody, I want to get what I feel I've been owed for a long time. How many more chances can I get? This could be my last chance to prove myself,if I keep blowing my chances,the front office is going to give up on me. They're going to think that all Im doing is blowing chance after chance, so there going to move on. There going to find someone else to break out. I dont want that to happen, I want their to be faith in me still. Plethora is going to be my crowning acheivement. I will be the first ever P2PW Heaveyweight Champion. I can feel it, I can taste it.

Simz and Tyler Stone, you guys are great talents no doubt about it. But come the Pay Per View your going to fall at my hand. You guys have no idea what this match means to me, it means proving myself, it means shutting up those voices that keep saying I dont have what it takes to become a star here. Im going to prove them all wrong, and Im going to prove to myself that I have what it takes to get there.

Im going to reach my crowning point. Im going to give the people a breakout performance, I want them to see the greatest moment of my career here. Red Ninja will finally arrive at Plethora.

Simz and Stone, good luck. Your definately going to need it. I got a purpose and I plan to realize my destiny and my dream. Plethora will be rememered as the night a new legend was made.
