I just think this might be an interesting thread to make. This thread is made for all of the wrestlers who were once loved by the fans, but they are now either unable to wrestle or caught up in drugs, politics, and other plagues in the world of wrestling. I personally would keep special places for wrestlers who passed away, but please do not include them your ranks, thank you.
Here is my list of Fallen Heroes:
1. Jake the Snake: When I was a kid I worshipped him. Something disturbed me 2 years ago when he was busted for starving Dameon (his python) to death. He represents how professional wrestling could ruin someone's life.
2. Bret Hart: As of lately, the WWE was marketing him again, because Hart agreed to be inducted. Since the WWE knows this is going to be good as it gets, the WWE re-markets Bret Hart, while the fad again is "who has more respect for the sport. Ironically, Bret Hart was on the wrong side of politics. Him and his family were always under siege by the clique. What makes matter worse, is now he is a leading figure in political wrestling, and now he lives on the plubicity of the screwjob.
3. Hulk Hogan: Sure, some of you hate him, but I can't help to say that he was a real life super hero to be at one time. As time went on he lost respect for the sport and got caught up in politics. He left the WWE more than I can count, and whenever he does return, it shocks me in a good way, but at the same time, it feels less magical.
4. Scott Hall: He is one of the most underrated superstars ever. His life long problem held him back so many times, and it ruined his career. I find it distasteful that some people joke about his problem, while the truth is that he is a troubled person. You can't help but to feel bad for him and the suffering he went through.
5. Lex Luger: I think he probably took the longest fall ever. Not only he had a reputation of assualting his wife, he had to face the fact of his wife's death.
