What roster change would you make to the current WWE roster? Personally, I would unify the rosters. Look at how exciting the Attitude era was? The rosters were unified then. Discuss.

As much as I always have been an pro-draft guy, maybe they should unify back. When they had so many big names around at the same time, it was a good move, but with the demise of superstars with name value, maybe this would make for a better show.
Now, I do still think that more guys get opportunities this way, and this way does make the WWE more money, but from a show quality standpoint, I think unification would be good.

As much as I always have been an anti-draft guy, maybe they should unify back.......but from a show quality standpoint, I think unification would be good. The same could be said for a certain Internet efed I know of. ;D

^ I meant to say "always have been a pro-draft guy", not anti.
Nah, the problem with unifying back would still be the fact that nobody is getting title shots or moving up. I mean, think about it.
NIN, Scream, Spackle, DDT, Reece, E2, Aladdin, Stare, Reaper, _the j-man, Simz, Trent . . . how long do you think it would take to give all of those names the shots they deserve?
Where do people who are considered mid-low card fall into the mix, even if we had 4 belts.

A fourth belt and the re-emerging of the P2PW Tag Team Titles would definitely be more than enough. It would make people on the lower card work harder to improve their promos and their games to get to where the Soul Reaper, NIN Horror's and *ahem* E2's are. Plus we would have a faster turnaround on the programming. Shows could actually come out weekly and keep the pace going. PPVs would be consistent: Not have Wrestlefever 3 in September on year and then in December the next. I believe lat year at this time, we were waiting for Fever to be posted. Two brands slows everything down and as a result, some enthusiastic and at times skilled participants, lose patience and go elsewhere, when in reality they would have made great additions to what we have going.

Yes you are. The same people on the top will be the only people on top. The titles changed hands with the same five people before.

Part of the benefit of the split was that shows would get posted faster. Before, we had to wait for TNT's results to be posted before Blitz! could even be posted. Now, thats' not a problem. Now, if you're talking about narrowing it down to just one show, then you make a valid point. As for talent leaving and going somewhere else, I thought the draft helped this too considering more people could get on the card instead of it being 30 people to one show, it was 15 a-piece. Meh, there are a lot of differnet views on this, and ask Reaper, I myself have even debated if we should re-combine for a while to get a more star-studded show. But, again, we wouldnt have the room on the card to "make new stars", and anything we did would be for the already established guys. Just my view, and we disagree on it, no biggie. This kind've talk should be in the P2PW room though, so if you would like to further this, feel free to create-a-thread in the P2PW room or take it to the General P2PW Discussion. I would be happy to continue talking about it there with ya, Elijah EDIT: capitalizing on what Chilly said . . . do you think Simz would be getting a title shot right now? Do you think Reece would've gotten one? Would guys who participate like JT Blade or Chilly WIlly ever get the opportunity to hold titles? Would REd NInja had gotten his rightful shot? ^no offense to anyone, and maybe they would have, but it isnt as likely.

ANYWAY.... ;D, I would like to see the Smackdown! brand air on Tuesdays and have ECW tossed altogether. Then take the ECW guys and put them on the SD roster and bring back the hardcore title. With the Friday night show suffering due to being on Fridays and injury issues, two good shows would make up for three mediocre ones. Plus with the shows falling on Mondays and Tuesdays, it would give the weekend wrap-up shows like Velocity a little more meaning.

As much as the WWE would benefit short-term from having one show, the novelty of having former Raw and Smackdown guys in the same place would wear off quickly. Throw in that you would double the amount of workdates for every superstar, have to fire half the roster and staff, deal with many more injuries and the fact midcarders would be lost. Plus, think of the boring segments on each show. Now imagine having them twice a week at the very least. Unification is out of the question, realistically. When they split, they went down a path with no return.
Vince isn't the kind of guy who gives up on something, unless it has some value. Currently, it allows his midcarders to build themselves, introduce and push guys under the ECW label, attract old-school fans and makes sense as a brand. Plus, it isn't like ECW is making a debt or terrible ratings, Sci Fi would hate to lose the show, and with house shows and the occasional PPV, ECW is doing well enough to justify its existance.
A new draft split would kill the credibility of the last few years. They've just started to win over fans with the idea, and fans getting used to who they see on each show. Changing the entire roster does nothing really, the format is the same, it just means they've now got to spend time re-introducing each show. Vince's Draft Lottery should have been every year, but I guess ECW's appearance meant it wasn't happening. I wouldn't mind seeing a few more trades or deflections, and some competition over new signings. Still, they just don't do it right, they either trade over guys they do nothing with, or swap main eventers. Plus, certain guys (Cough triple h Cough) don't want to go to Smackdown, because in Raw minds it is the B Show. Smackdown needs to become a live presentation, because the age of the internet means he has to put out the best possible product or else people will know and won't bother to tune in.
Honestly, I think they should just leave things as they are, and post Wrestlemania, run a Draft Lottery, and really consider the trades and the impact they would make.

Yes but if they had it like they did before in the Attitude era it would boost ratings because that is when WWE had it's peak. All I am saying is that the draft didn't work because either way. SD! will get the shaft. No way around it.

Well, if Vince thought that making two good, even shows would mean double the money, we would be fine, but he doesn't think that way. It is perfectly possible to do that without joining the rosters together again.

I would like to see wrestlers go to both RAW and Smackdown like they use to. It doesn't seem right that superstars just go to one show.

At the last minute, I can't see Cena going to Smackdown! because it just doesn't seem right. That's the show people either debut on to prove themselves, or sent to when they were a marketing failure on RAW. And Cena's merchandise has not failed--not even close. Althought it would greatly boost SD!'s profile, something tells me Cena will stay where he is and WWE will finally give Umaga the go on the World Title. I won't be watching this as I think the Cowboys/Redskins game is far more important (especially when you've got 100 bones on it) but I will check the net for updates.
