Most of us say this, and it's true. Not only I have the most lame and boring life imaginable, but I also have a really boring job. I work at a general store, and here is a few reason's why I hate my job:
1. Around where I live there are these southern/born-again christion type of people who have their own dillusional perception of society, so a few of these people talk to me as if I am their butler, and they take things way too seriously.
2. Countless number of pointless arguements in our store between co-workers, and I always seem to get stuck in the middle of them.
3. The technology at my workplace is really slow, and fustrating to work with.
Oh and last night I got held up with a knife, by some guy who robbed my register. No one got hurt, a huge scene wasn't made, and he didn't steal that much money, but the important part (to me) was that he didn't get MY money (I had a lot of money on me), or my car. After that we called the police, but nothing serious really happened.
What do you all hate about your job (if you have a job you hate).

The only thing I hate about my job is the pay. But I knew that coming into it, as it has way too many perks to ignore: - It's less than 10 miles from where I live.
- I get to bring my laptop to work.
- I work four 10-hour days instead of five 8-hour days.
- I can take a break / lunch whenever I want.
- When it's not busy, I can surf the Net, read a book, or watch a DVD on my laptop.
The only other thing that's not so hot is that I can't leave the grounds for lunch...not really that big of a deal to me.

I work at a hospital and this is why working in a hospital sucks.
- Nurses are stupid. Period. A majority of nurses have absolutely no idea whaty the fuck is goin on with their patients.
- The pay sucks. The bad part is, you never no how terribly bad they pay you until you get you tax statement and realize how little money you made in a year, it's quite depressing.
- Doctors act like little children & nagging wives. They cry when they can't have their way, they scream when you need their help, they pout if they have to stay 5 minutes longer than their suppossed to and they never allow you to forget about a mistake you made.
- You get to work with extremely fine, sexy women, but because they make so much more money than you, they'll never take you seriously (unless you a mothafuckin pimp, like myself).
- My manager's a kiss ass, my superviser's a timid, slave driver who thinks everything is his fault (what a bitch).
- Did I mention that the pay sucks?

I got school. It sucks ass. 6 hours of boring teachers and gay pupils. Good thing about school is that during lunch break, we and about 20 other people in my year, have a fight club type thing in the squash courts. Its so funny when a teacher comes coz we just run over them. There are two hot teachers, which is the best thing. Both of them wear really tight clothes and are really slutty.
On the weekends, i've got a job at River Island (clothes shop), the best thing about it is that i get 50% off the clothes.

Remember I told you all how I got held up last weekend. Well not only it was in the newspaper, but it actually took up a large part of the page. This wasn't the only time when I was on the newspaper. I would hyperlink the whole article, but I have trouble getting into my hometown's newspaper site.
LHW seems to have the best job. Mostly because he has a lot of independence.

Heh, and now to put you all to shame I own a musical instrument store, and I do all I want everyday. I write/play music, play videogames, watch DVD's, talk to friend who come over. The drawbacks? Never know what pay is going ot be like? I only made 400 the first month I worked, then I made 1800 the next month, but I'm going ot work this month for about 200, which is one weeks' minimum wage. Either way, the freedom is payment enough. I also dont' have the internet there yet, so I can't whore with you guys . . . I'm sad

I'm a waiter. I give fat, drunken ignorant and damn-right rude people their food and very rarely ever get tipped. The work is dead after the Xmas holidays so I've only worked one night in three weeks which, as good as it sounds, sucks as one, I only make 4 pounds an hour and I worked for a grand total of 2 hours, so now I'm skint from a month of partying. And I got made to work Xmas Day this year.
Do I win ?

Yeah I hate drunks, not only they make scenes and you know that you really are better than them, but many of them still think that they should be treated as royalty. Drinking is common in my town, just simply because many of the people who move down in here realize that this place isn't paradise after all. The company I work for is planning to close all of its liquor stores all over the US, except for my hometown, just because alchohol consumption is too common.
Stare seems to have a cool job. Being self-employed is something I always wanted to do. Well, right now I am kind of considering taking over my Dad's business, however I feel that I really don't want to do that for the rest of my life. For starters, I would be stuck in my hometown for the rest of my life, and another thing is that, I just fell that I won't be happy or even be a someone when I takeover the business. Plus, I just want to have a position that I have earned and not inherited.

Worst job - Summer of 96 - waiting table at a private party at a mansion somewhere near the huge "Hollywood" sign. The ballroom where the drinks were served was a long walk from the main house, where the dinner was to be served. I must've walked up & down the hills 100 times carrying glasses & plates. Then there was this old man demanding cocktail when only drink available during dinner was wine. By the end of the night my feet were ready to fall off. I decided that I hated being a waitress. That was the first AND last time I ever waited tables.
