Does anyone know of a basic programme that will let me split music tracks? ie. take 32 seconds of one track. It's just really to make mobile phone ring tones more than anything. My awesome phone doesn't have a great deal of memory. So five songs is more or less all I can hold.
I checked on download.com, but couldn't see anything that was completely free.
And no, before someone suggets buying a new phone, this is only 6 months old and cost a lot of money.

It's a Nokia 6111. I got software to transfer stuff, but I can't slice music tracks using that one.

It looks like the right programme, but, without downloading it, I'm assuming that it's a trial version only that will end after "x" amount of days. I'm looking for something that I can use permanently without being harassed for payment. I know there is defo one out there, because a dude in a software shop told me about it. But it was long before I got my internet fixed and I dinnae ken the name.

The one I use for custom ringtones is called ToneThis. That is free.
I also use Cool Edit Pro, which isn't free.

Cheers dude, I'll try Tone This. I used to have Cool Edit Pro, but removed it from my computer when I didn't think I needed it anymore.
