I was wondering, it seems that HHH always gets cheered when he first returns, but sometimes he doesnt.
What will you do?

I seem to be in the minority, as I simply don't like Hunter. He's a great worker and all that, but I just can't stand him...the more he's on the air, the less I watch RAW.
So, once he returns, I suspect I'll be finding other things to do, or watch...especially since I won't be watching Smackdown! anymore (I'd prefer to watch Sci-Fi Fridays).

I like Hunter, and I'm glad he's coming back. But i just don't like him saying the same thing and staying in the title picture all the time. If he does that i'll get pissed off. He's the top name in the company but he has to make room for others to shine.

Yeah why not? Raw's been sucking lately without him. Cena/Angle has been the same thing EVERY single week with Angle getting the upperhand of the feud. I guess that makes up for the fact that Cena is going to beat him at Unforgiven? Masters/HBK, as good as it is, isn't going to carry a show. Raw Needs HHH.

I didn't like H when I started watching in 01, but I liked him when he came back in 02. I wouldn't hate H if he comes back this time with t-shirts, wet hair, and jeans, cuz I did kinda like that H, but if he comes back in suits then fuck 'em.

^I agree. Evolutionised HHH isn't great. Leave the suits to the businessmen. Wrestlers should wear casual clothes.

I'd like to see the jeans/bad ass jacket look as well. But, either will be good. A lot of people say they may not cheer for him but will have a little smirk on their faces when they hear his entrance. They won't change the channel.

I'll mark out when he returns. HHH is good for ratings, he will be good for Kurt Angle, and good for Raw.
i dont care what he wears, and if he is heel or face, I'll mark out

I hope we get to see the badass HHH again as well, but I have a feeling we wont since the plan if to feud him with Flair, they probably want to keep him in the Evolution clothing to give the feud more significance that HHH "WAS" Evolution

Raw has lost it's way a bit since Hunter's exile, but then the new roster has yet to fully settle. The way I see it Flair will keep Hunter busy until Angle/Cena has run it's course then will be back in the World title hunt round Royal Rumble time where he will win it from Cena. I will mark out for him though. He's the company's top heel. There's no-one that comes close. I'd mark out more if it was on Smackdown. But my main hope is that he gets back with HBK. If he's feuding with Flair, who's the catalyst? And how many times has HBK extended his hand to Flair (storyline wise) and been beaten down the second his back is turned. Maybe a bit of payback?

as long as the mofo is a heel, i will mark out, he is the best heel for a long time, i do believe he is best when he is going for the title, once he has it, he bores me
also flair for ic gold at the next ppv

HHH's got to come back as a heel, with the crossover heat he's gettin from his real life situation (the Steph factor), it just cements his character even more. The more the fans get sick of him in one way or another, the more negatvie heat he gets, which is good because I don't think it effects the ratings or buy rates negatively (although I'm not positive).

Rumor has it that the Game is set to return to action this August, just in time for Summerslam. I won't be rooting for him though, as I think Hunter is more intense and believable when he is heal. Still the idea of a John Cena v. Triple H OR HBK v. Triple H for the WWE Title is a bit intriguing.

He's a good face in my opinion but a far better heel, and I much prefer him out of the WWE/WHC title hunt. Chances are he'll go straight back there though, Stephanie's probably demanding it.

in all fairness he hasnt been champ for 3 years (possibly 2) and he hasnt really been in the title hunt since last mania, so he deserves a run at the belt imo

I don't know. I think having Aurora might have mellowed Triple H out. He hasn't been near the world title scene since Blacklash of last year. Since then he has teamed up with Shawn and feuded with the spirit squad, Vince and Shane, and Rated RKO. The old Trips would not have wanted to form DX. He would had wanted a stable like Evolution, where it was all about him.
If he hadn't mellowed, why would he team with someone like Shawn? Shawn would get just as much of the spotlight if not more then he would. I could see him coming back and having a big match at Summerslam against either Edge or Orton for "taking him out". If he does get near the world title, it wouldn't be before Royal Rumble at the earliest I believe. More then likely it would be at Wrestlemania when he gets another shot at the belt.

Micko - Just because he hasn't been in the world title scene for 2 years, doesn't mean he deserves to be. When was the last time he had a good match one on one?
Keith - DX was basically all about him. HBK played second fiddle for that whole run. Sure, Shawn got his time with the mic and all, but not nearly as much as HHH did, which is stupid since HBK is a better talker. In EVERY match HBK played the babyface in peril. HHH always was the one to finish the matches. HHH always was the one to save the day, HBK never did. HHH also made sure that no other member could join them, when he got injured proving that he didn't want to get anyone else over. HHH dominated DX. It was always about him.

And now Murphy's Law has seen to it that Shawn gets the title shot at the Big One.
