Well now there is no reason to watch Smackdown. The few times I had been able to watch it, JBL has always been entertaining as a announcer. He has brought up WWE history and is able to the little things. But if he is making alot more money doing his investing then he should quit. The question now is who will WWE get to replace him? Tazz is now in ECW, i just hope they don't decide to put the Miz in the booth.

Hey, someone at LoP posted that exact same post two days ago. Do you have an alter-ego at LoP, Keith? And this is old news as he has been saying for weeks now that he's leaving to focus on his financial investments on Wall Street. Good luck, Bradshaw. Like The Rock, Jericho and others before him, there is more out there than just wrestling.

A shame, but not the worst guy who could leave. Another blow for Smackdown though- And now I wonder who will get the push into the announcer seat? Hopefully Todd Grisham will, I like the guy as a colour commentator, and he might cover up Cole a bit, since he can do Play-By-Play as well.

Maybe Daivari.
He can talk lots of shit, everyone hates his guts, and most importantly, above all else, he has nothing to do at moment.

JBL owns on commentary. Sad to see him leave. He always seems to add prestige to the match and makes some of the wrestlers seem better than they're being portrayed, such as Paul London and Matt Hardy.
I have no clue who'll replace him. Grisham isn't all that great, so hopefully not him.

I wouldn't mind Daivari at all, he could really work wonders there, although sadly I don't see it happening :S

Yeah, they worked out a deal where JBL gets to use Vince McMahon's private jet to get from the Tuesday evening Smackdown! tapings to New York City in time for the stock market openings Wednesday morning.
Someone has some "pull" within the WWE.

I wouldn't be surprised if JBL did this all so that he would get a raise from the WWE. He's a smart dude. He knows that there aren't many other people that could do a good job like he does, so he knows the WWE need him. It could all just be him showing off how good a businessman he is.

I really like JBL and if that's what he wants to do than good. I really enjoyed the time he was WWE champion and was extreme disappointed when John Cena won the belt off of him at WM21. Ofcoarse JBL being my favourite wrestler at the time.

If JBL does leave, this is going to be serious. I really don't like the fact that he is a commentator, and I want to see him in the ring again. It's not that I think he has classic in ring work, but from a storyline angle, I think the Smackdown! could use him at the moment.

I disagree with everything you just said eco, JBL is class as the color commentator, he’s probably the best announcer the wwe’s had in a long long time. His ring work has always been ‘meh’, and I don’t think he needs to be in storylines or anything. SD has enough people to use, and it would just push the people who need air time to the sidelines if they gave time to JBL. He should stay in the booth, he’s really good there.

www.wwe.com/inside/news/pieceofInteresting response from JBL. Seems to both confirm that he got stuff like the plane, but play down the fact it was crucial...

He can't wrestle anymore due to back injuries that he has got so I heard.

I'm glad he's staying. I like him on commentary. He makes Michael Cole seem not so bad. And as i wrestler I feel that JBL was under appreciated.
