I know. That stupid game sold 1,000,000 copies.
"50 Cent was found with 15 pounds of cocaine and 995,000 copies of his game, '50 Cent: Bulletproof'."

They should make Candyland a video game. That was the illest board game you could have.

That has to be one of the gayest things I've ever read... thanks Chad..wow, candyland....
Meanwhile board games don't work as Video Games... thats why they're board games.
Anybody played the new Hitman yet? hmmm?

Fuck you Reaper. Candyland just happened to be the only board game I could win. And that little white girl was a fine piece of imaginary ass.

You and I both know that your favorite candyland "piece of ass" was in fact this little bastard. Which by the way, for the right price Agent 47 would kill and hide the body

Lemme think...
MORTAL KOMBAT DECEPTION.
ON X-BOX. If anything is in second, it's the Gamecube version, due to the Shao Kahn and Goro factors.

Anyone here got a 360? I've been wanting to try out Dead Rising and Saint's Row but the damn Blockbuster near me raised the 360 games up to a "Membership Level"...
Dead Rising looks pretty cool..I'm a big xombie movie fan and if you've ever seen the series of movies with dawn of the dead, land of the dead, etc..thats right up my alley
Saints Row looks like GTA wannabe..If it wasn't because of the customization and the online play I probably wouldn't be interested but still looks worthy..

Dead Rising WOULD Be cool except that its timed... and its not like you have a ticking timer that tells you when you need to be somewhere... nope theres a bar that is color coordinated to time. So when its Blue you have over 6 game hours, yellow is under 6, and red is under 3.
Well theres must see "scoops", since you're a journalist that you have to get to.. you miss out on enough of them and you'll never get to know the truth. You have 72 hours in this friggin mall with Zombies and weirdos, and you're objective is to help save people (and their AI sucks cock) and to find out what the hell happened. I hit morning of day 2 and missed the scoop and as such I am now just trying to survive the rest of it. Theres supposed to be about 5 or so different endings or something, but the replay value isn't exactly all that great In my opinion. Theres all sorts of weapons and you can change the dudes clothes, but I think it could have been done a whole hell of a lot better.
Saints Row LOOKS kinda gay to me. I probably won't play it. Now if you were a Dynasty Warriors fan, I would suggest Ninety Nine Nights. Or if you happened to like the first LEGO star wars, you should pick up the sequel. The Outfit is pretty crappy, just in case you were wondering... so I can't wait for Call of Duty 3.

hmm...makes me re-think Dead Rising a bit, free play would have been much better IMO. CoD3 looks Unbelievable, though.. _____________________
Call of Duty 2 Is a must have for a Xbox 360 owner. The single player mixes it up with different types of objectives, from sniping, to playing as a tank, and to just nailing Nazi scum with all you got. The Online play isn't bad either...although you probably won't find too many matches with the maximum of people (or any) theres still plenty of styles to choose from.
I'd also sugest Fable: Lost Chapters for Xbox (and it is also backwards compatible on 360) and Elder Scrolls Oblivion for 360. I grouped these together because I can't say one without the other..although they really have hardly anything *Main Feature* wise in common, they both are by far my favorite free roam platform RPG games.
-Fable takes you on a path much more so that Oblivion but delivers so much more choices to choose from to sculpt you're character from. I'm not just talking SW:KOTOR (Damn, mentioned another game!) bad and good sculpting, I'm talking horns and demon-ness forming. Along your way to becoming Satan's little buddy, or God's play toy you can also master skills in Archery, Swordplay, and Wizardy each with different effects on your characters image and view on other people...
-Oblivion firstly got me obsessed with the graphics..Best looking 360 game I've ever played.. Second off, Oblivion's first person view makes the game in general much more fun to play.. If your tired of stats and scores, play Oblivion-although you will have to deal with minor numbers and tallies, Oblivion is basically like a First Person Shooter gone Midevil..and if you don't like that you can even change it! The world in the game is humongus..Although I have extreme gaming ADD I can say from my expirience that it is one of the longest games I've playes..looking to get you're $60 worth? BUY OBLIVION!
Thats all for now..expect to see more soon

COD2 : Approve.
F:LC : It's a good game, and the good/evil sculpting is an angle people need to exploit better.
ES4:0 : For the moment, it's the 360 owner's must-have.

I played the last Elder Scrolls that was so fucking wonderful according to everybody... yeah it sucked. So I'll just not go out of my way to get this newer one.
If you're looking for a "war" game... STAY THE FUCK AWAY from the Outfit. Fucking stupid game.

Was that Elder Scrolls 4 or Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind?

|
Post by Reaper on Sept 24, 2006 21:29:59 GMT 1
Morriwind... I thought 4 was Oblivion... Either way, I played that "game of the year edition" and while I like somethings, I thought the actual game play was weak, and didn't really keep my attention. That and if I remember correctly, the fighting was what hurt the game.

4 is Oblivion. 3 is Morrowind.
But then again, there's always something someone's not going to like in a game...

I like it as well. I wouldnt say it's anyhting outstanding, but defo a good time-consumer.
My main complaint is the handling of vehicles that you are in. The controls such for that for the most part. (I'm talking about the little vehicles during levels that you ride, not the flying vehicles)

you have to use them sometimes. Like to cover the five red buttons.
Anyways, it's a good game, but it's not Resident Evil 4 (which I am planning to start bugging you about again very soon)
Everyone tell Reaper how Awesome Resident Evil 4 is and how it is almost nothing like the rest of the franchise, I can't get him to play it and give it a try.

Hopefully, I'll be able to reccomend/disreccomend Mortal Kombat: Armageddon within the next few days. I pre-ordered it.

I doubt a preorder was necessary unless they are going to pre-sell it to you like a night in advance. But they tend to not do that unless its a major title like Halo or GTA was. I preordered Final Fantasy XII but thats because I'm not aware of how popular the franchise is here in California.... we do have many an asian in these parts. Oh well, that one doesn't drop until Halloween... so I'll be playing MK and a few others until then.
