We need to wrap this up folks. I really want to get the TNT Preview up. So, in other words... If we are pro draft, Stare and I will have to figure out the roster. That wouldn't take to long. But, I am now setting up a Poll. It will be up for 2 or 3 days. We didn't want to set up a poll at the beginning. And, I am glad that we didn't. You all made points. Some people flip flopped, which is what we were aiming for. But, now is the time to start back up. Soooooooo... Visit the poll now and cast your vote. The Finale Draft Poll

I'd say leave it open until a day or two goes by with no new votes.
if in 3 days, voting is still happening, it'll be left open

And Funamie's only here because of me. If we are split up, I personally think she'll bail. E-2 was the one that told me about P2P and got me into the e-fed. I don't want to see Deathrow splitting up, either. So my vote is no to the roster split.

I think we should have a roster split. It will give people more chances at superstardom. I think a draft would be cool. If we do a draft, the factions count as one pick and the tag team title can be defended on both shows.

sorry guys, I jsut sent this pm to Shinns, and I think it is a very valid point:
We're debating what to do for a tie, and I suggested keep things the way they are, and set a number of people (like 40) that when we have them signed up, we'll need a split.
In fact, we probably wont ever get 40, cause people keep leaving cause we can't focus on them. Do you realize that only 3 shows have been happening a month? that means anywhere from 18 - 24 people are being used a month. Most of the roster has one match every two months.
If a split doenst happen, we'll need ot find a way to take care of that asap
Just thought I'd voice that, cause I think it's a very legit point

That is a very legit point. But my whole take on that is... You need to not make your shows so long, you make your shows like there PPV's each time. It needs to advance the fueds not how many matches you can squeeze in. The PPV is for the Showdown's that's how big time wrestling always worked.
Now if the Split means that more matches and quality shows that advance storylines are going to be produced. I don't see the negative in that, but I don't see why we couldn't do that without the draft either.

mostly because storylines carry over to both shows, which means if you're in a storyline, of course you'll see yourself mentioned. The problem is, with 33-35 people, it's hard to include everyone as often as we'd like.
The whole basis of a draft was to have a smaller amount of people to choose from, making it easier ot focus on each person and push them better. When this fed started, we had about 12 people. We'd have about 16-17 if we did it now (18 or so if you include the returnign SteveTKO, SoL, and Firefly). When the fed was first started, things stayed fresh, and I was running one new show a week, so I know the amoutn of people we'd have is well enough.

This is just MY OPINION.
You said we shouldnt make our shows so long, as if they were ppv's. How can we have more matches if we don't do that?
I do not think this will be possible without a draft. What if we get some new signups? it only takes about 4 to get to 40.
It's very hard to focus on everyone, even Shinns will agree with that (I woudl think), it'll be harder with every new sign up. People will want to leave.
It HAS been talked about havcing more matches per show, but there are many people who have voiced that they think the time between shows is just a bit too much, and we want to make shows longer? I dont see how that is a beneficial idea.

I do agree with that it is hard to focus on everyone. And, now that kitty cat is out of the bag. We all know which writer wants the draft and who doesn't.

I do agree with that it is hard to focus on everyone. And, now that kitty cat is out of the bag. We all know which writer wants the draft and who doesn't. You guys should set-up rankings then. A point system for people that are not on the card, they can still promo earn points and move up in the rankings. Earn there way on to the card, insetad of trying to help out everyone, make them earn it. I'm sure the activity would be buzzing too. Because you're right in every e-fed you can't focus on everyone, and if you can't do that, then you should set-up a system where they feel that there still being valued.

I believe your system is flawed because everyone who is on the top is all we wilever see with the people who need guidance myself included would be at the bottom struggaling along to try and make it to the card status.

But as the E2 charatcer has demonstrated in the past, you can make yourself get noticed. You can promo even if you are not on a particular card. Someone will notice your enthusiasm and put you on the map.

which is why i'm saying in that extra promo thread, you earn points to move up, you can still earn points without being put on the card. it's from a pure promo standpoint like if someone up top doesn't promo then they obvisiously move down. i mean it's just an idea, i don't have an actual system set-up. but it's an idea that could be expanded upon into a system for p2pw. whatever help makes the fed better.
also why not do little house show bits? chadclassic is extremely good at those. that way people still get to read something while waiting for the big daddy shows.

I like the idea you have because you get points for showing your enthusiasm. Even if you don't have a match, you can get involved, instead of sitting around with your thumb up your ass waiting for someone to recognize.

I think ELITE's system is very good and we could have a version of it here. Say you put an extra promo thread which is strictly just for extra promos and continuation of feuds outside the shows and then also a strictly discussion based thread. It would be better because there would be continuation in the extra promo thread, instead of one promo being broken up by discussion. This way we could add more fuel to feuds, like instead of in the Sound Off topic me and E2 could promo bashing each other in that thread. And also others could post promos and it'll stand out more clearly than if it was in a thread where the majority of the posts were discusion based.
