Well all I am hearing is elevated liver enzymes. That can come from steroids or also Hepatitis C. I hope that it is steroids that is causing it. Cause if it is the latter, then alot of superstars will have to quit wrestling forever. Granted no great lost with Khali. The only bright spot so far is Matt Hardy. At first they thought that was why he was being taken off the road, turns out that he has dormant staph in his blood. he is currently taking mild medication and a few weeks rest.

One of the funniest moments on last week's Friday Night Smackdown! was when King Booker soaked up the hospitalities in the ring during his "coronation." The look he had on his face, like a kid in candy shop who is overwhelmed, was priceless.

I've pretty much lost interest in the WWE just now, so I haven't watched in a few months. But, out of curiosity, I checked the WWE website to kinda catch up. Then I noticed Paul Burchill's profile was missing. Has he been released? If not, is he still doing that stupid pirate gimmick?

Hey Mick. How's things?
I hope he is still around. I don't intend to start watching again anytime soon, but the world's a better place if Paul Burchill still has a job.

Holy Rocky sighting indeed. Hope all is well man.
Paul Burchill was sent back down to developmental (OVW) to repackage him, and thank God for that cause the Pirate gimmick was the worst thing you coudl do with someone as talented as him. Hopefully he'll come back and they'll let him be a credible athlete with no stupid gimmick.

Hmmm? Rocky v. E2 on TNT? Anyway, I find it amazing how neither the Undertaker nor Kane are on the SummerSlam card. I wonder if the Undertaker's reasons are personal, or did they just choose not to put him on. I find it hard to believe he would pass up that kind of payoff. But if was the WWE's choice, it may be a sign that he is WAY past his prime and it's time to hang it up at 15 and 0.

or maybe it's because the only feud he is involved in right now is with The Great Khali, and eventhough it was a planned match for Summerslam, the WWE decided there were too many other matches of importance to fit this one on the card as well, making sense of why it's a Smackdown Advertised Main Event.
That's the way I hear it

Damn Smackdown for the whole Chavo/Rey feud. Made me go and look up classic eddie videos. Here is Classic Eddie being interrogated by Chris Benoit. www.youtube.com/watch?v=qp4mGw-R0S8

Rey vs. Chavo....too bad it will be nothing like the old WCW cruiserweight division.... which reminds me, if you want high quality WCW cruiserweight actions I'd suggest Rey vs. Malenko.

If Cena ends up on Smackdown!, I want to see Dave Batista get the World Title around the Royal Rumble and have Cena win it to set up Big Dave v. Little John. Then have Cena pull the heel turn during the main event at Mania, a la Steve Austin and The Rock at Mania X-7. I think a Batista heel turn would be sweet, but ultimately it may backfire on Cena since he has so many "haters" out there. Sure, Cena sells merchandise, but so did Steve Austin in 2001.

I can't help but to comment on Smackdown! this week: The show was solid. I wish they could put that much effort into the program every week, not just for the CW premiere. From the main event where King Booker squared off against the Undertaker, to the triple threat tag team match at the midpoit, everything was great. I liked how they used the last half hour or so to further the Taker/Kennedy feud and the King Booker/Lashley affair. They made Lashley seem like a legit contender for the title. I still think he's a bit green for the Big Belt, but it will still be a fun program. It will be interesting to see what happens when Chris Benoit returns. And Matt Hardy should go back to his "Version 2" days when he was a cruiserweight. Helms/Hardy is money in the bank. Next week, we get Cena/Batista/Lashley v. The Royal Kingdom. Will be interesting to see how the SD! crowd reacts to the WWE Champion.

If Umaga defeats Kane in the "Loser Leaves RAW" match, then a possible King Booker/Kane feud could be on the horizon for Survivor Series. As dull as that would be, it would be something "fresh."
But the sudden placement of Batista and Finaly in the main event tells us that WWE has confidence in another person: Finlay.
Face it, Batista has been garbage since his return. Garbage. And it only goes to show the kind of momentum one can gain by having Triple H put you over three PPVs in a row.
But if Finlay walked with the title (though I doubt) I wouldn't be surprised. I would like the Booker/Finlay feud to continue with Finaly and the Little Batsrd making the eventual full face turn. The crowd pops loud for the dwarf. His in-ring skills are solid; they just need to market the character a little better.

Was the Boogeyman rehired or is it a different guy playing the old role?

Pretty sure it was the same guy.. At least he raped the worms the same way Same get up, same intro, same appearance. Unless Theodore has been practicing with the Stem Cells of the BoogeyMan, it was the same guy..

I smell a Kane/Undertaker/Boogeyman alliance.
Starting to see why no one is watching anymore.

lol, Kane/Undertaker maybe...Boogeyman? Maybe. Yea, first fault I believe is putting the show on a friday night.. C'mon people ought to know some people actually have lives and go out.. Smackdown is lacking that 'something special' though. I'm still faithful to my ECW though

I couldn't help but laugh at the Boogeyman jigging his way down the aisle to scare The Miz and Kristal. That shit was ridiculous. How many chances is this guy going to get. I'm counting the number of days until he's injured again. You think WWE would learn with Mark Henry.

Leviathan With Lashley officially moving to ECW, I think it's safe to say that the "heel" Batista will be home anytime now.
