Now that would be a movie I would like to see made. I hope that they are able to give this movie the green light. And they only need to bring in one villian to force all those superheros to come together to defend mankind. and that villian is..
Darkseid

If you'r gonna toss Darkseid into this, then I will counter and opt that they use Doomsday.
Then again, that'd be a hell of a team wouldn't it....

Well I could see if the first movie made alot of money, JLA being a trilogy. They have enough villains to do this. They could have the villains like so.
1-Darkseid 2-Brainiac 3-Doomsday
Save Doomsday for last, then if they want to end the trilogy they can have him tear thru the justice league and kill Superman. Or they can switch it up and have Doomsday be #2 and then the third film could focus on the death of Superman and he possible resurrection.
But this is Hollywood, so more then likely the villains would be something like this:
1-Lex Luthor 2-Joker 3- Luthor and Joker teaming together and getting their hands on a nuclear weapon..

Possibly, but with all the Batman movies ... and Superman Movies out there you would think they would go somewhere different. Plus, even Hollywood wise I couldn't see Joker and Luthor hooking up - complete opposites in almost every which way. The only way I would see it working would be the Almighty shock value..
Death of Superman sounds like something they would do but it hardly focuses on JLA .. I could see it winding in easily though, and would be one hell of a movie. Especially if they went with the cloning, mixed with Superman replacement experiments.

Apparently the plan has always been to do a "World's Finest" first, then do the "Justice League" movie afterwards. Warner Bros have been wanting to do a World's Finest for ages, including giving the green light to one with John Travolta as Batman (I shit you not) and Nic Cage as Superman. This was in the time of Tim Burton's Superman film that never happened. (Special prize for anyone who can get a pic of Nic Cage in his Superman get up. They are out there somewhere.)
Back to Spiderman 3. I've got three words for you that will split audiences in two. Saturday. Night. Fever.

Crappy John Travolta Film? Hmm... I don't think I'm following ya, unless your talking about the release date..?
While we're on John Travolta, him as Batman wouldn't be so bad ... Val Kilmer and George Clooney, couldn't get much worse with those 2 movies. As long as Travolta took it seriously and didn't dance, I don't think it would be miserable. Don't know what kinda audience they would expect to get though. Cage would be interesting, but I don't see him in the role

Now I have heard the rumor about Nicolas Cage starring as Superman. He might not have been the ideal person looks wise to play the man of steel, but I think he would had done it justice. He is a big comic book fan and knows exactly how Superman should be played. But Travolta as Batman? Sorry I can't see him playing a dark brooding type like Batman. I be afraid that he would break out the Bat dance during a fight scene or start singing about how miserable his life is. Oh and Rage since you asked for it, here is your picture. I'm not sure if it is photoshopped but none the less here it is:

It has to be said, people who have seen it are completely split on the film as a whole. That one scene in particular. But without having seen it and only reading about it, I think I can understand it if you put it into context of Spiderman 2. One of my favourite scenes in that film was also one of it's less conventional. The "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head" scene which shows a happy, carefree Peter Parker going about his day without a care in the world and a goofy grin on his face (That freeze frame is a classic). I'm guessing (and hoping) that this new scene is some sort of twisted, bastard version of the one that appeared in Spiderman 2. But it's less that 2 weeks away, so we'll find out then.
Oh, and the Hulk is, apparently, going to be the grey version. Hope they don't leave ol' greenskin out completely.

I take it you read them as well Al ? Yup. And i'm annoyed that I did. Too many spoilers! I loved the Grey Hulk in the cartoons. He owned. Rage - I loved that scene from Spidey 2. Hilarious. And that Iron Man suit sucks....looks like a smaller version of the Iron Giant. Although, it does seem a bit more realistic. However, the dude is supposed to be a millionaire or something, isn't he? He should be able to make it look a bit better than that.

No its the first suit he builds when he's been captured. He gets caught when he's at war (comics - Vietnam. Film - Iraq) and they find out who he is and make him build a war suit out of spare parts. Which he does but uses the suit to escape. That's the suit. He then uses that concept to build the full on Iron Man suit.

Something resembling so .. (Movie Poster) I also found this, pretty easy find but this is the rejected suit - Hopefully this means they're sticking closer to the story this time, yet remaining enventful..

I think Tony Stark was kidnapped by someone and was being forced to develop weapons for him. Somehow during the kidnapping Tonys heart gets damage. The kidnapper wouldn't allow Tony to seek medical attention till the weapons are made. Tony made the suit as a kind of pacemaker. It then expanded to the suit that he now wears. At least that is what I think happens.

Yeah, you're probably right ;D By the way, thanks for the Supes/Nic Cage photo. His head is photoshopped onto George Reeves' body But it's good as it gives us a hint as to what could have been.
