Yea ... We jumped the wagon a couple pages ago anyways. It's fitting.
I'm not all too pumped for Indiana Jones either. I think they should leave some things alone, some of the older action flicks included. I didn't even bother to see the Rocky Balboa Movie for many, many, many reasons, but Jesus Christ - Harrison Fords nearing his sixties, Stallone's maybe a tad bit younger. They're old, ugly as hell, and look like they shouldn't even be out past 8:00 at night.
Leave Classics (or attempted Classics) Alone. We don't need every series to be multi-generational.
I like what they're doing for Fantastic Four in the long run. The Storyline they're putting forward is what we need to see more in comic movies -- not so extreme like Spiderman 3.. Haven't seen it, but previews look appealing. Saw Oceans 13 today, hope to be back up there the next few weeks.

Okay. Very interesting tit bit from Aint It Cool.
Today, a well known actor shot his part in the Iron Man movie. It's a cameo from a pretty well known Marvel character. The plan, Marvel have in mind is to bring this character into all their future films (Iron Man, Hulk, Ant Man, Captain America, Thor) to bring them all together for an Avengers movie.
The character is Nick Fury and the actor is Samuel Jackson.
Now, my first thought is Nick Fury's white. But! They are using the Ultimates version of Nick Fury, which was indeed based on Samuel Jackson. To be honest, I'm torn on this one, so I'm gonna wait and see.

Cactus - I would love a Hellsing movie! Hellsing is the shit!
And on a side note. I hate Captain America and Thor. They're shitty characters.

He's been in everthing, and done everything. Although this is a toss up, he's played the up tight cop/investigator/commando/whatever - a million times before. I have no doubt he'll be amazing. One thing I would be worried about is managing that many heroes, and managing them well. Fantastic Four did a decent job, but also remember they all were basically human based (except Thing) and they're powers weren't as 'fantastic' (except for Torch). Pulling off a decent Hulk (again), Ant Man, and Thor - with out making it corny, would be a handful of jobs. Should be an interesting movie none the less .. and I'll be more than willing to try it out.

Ok, here's my recipe for a comic movie.
Take a shit. Put fresh feces in blender. Frappe. Enjoy.

Well the Ultimates have not been bad, and it does crossover well between the 2 generations ( old fanboys and new fanboys ) so if they want to attract a big name to boost sales then Sam Jacksn is the one. He will put asses in seats, would people have gone to see snakes on a plane if it was anyone but Sam ?

I hope they go for Todd McFarlane's take on the Lizard as their main point of reference. He was fucking brutal. As for Kraven, I have no idea who would fit the role.

All I am asking is that they don't make Thor anything like they did for that Incredible Hulk tv movie years ago. God that was horrible. Basically they had it that he had to be summoned by some guy who was in possession of Thors hammer. If you never saw that movie,be grateful. I think the only good superhero that they produced with those series of Hulk movies was Daredevil. But of course when you have the Ben Afflect version to compare it to, anyone else will be good.
