That's giving Shawn A LOT of credit, IMO.
I thin the Bears have a slight edge due to the home field and momnetum. But this one, in reality, could swing either way. Should be a good game.

Oh when the Saints, Oh when the Saints, Come marching in, come marching in.....Did I just say the Saints. Think about it for a moment. After 9/11 the "Patriots" and "Yankees" both one. Looks at LSU's run in the NCAA playoffs after Katrina. And now, after Katrina we have the Saints. They are my sleeper pick.

^At the halfway point of the season, I am beginning to see how the Saints might make an impact. Although they are 6 and 3, they would still have a first round bye if the playoffs were to start today. And your logic of teams making a tremendous comeback after a year of adversary make perfect sense. But realistically it's anyone's game at this point. Who would have thought a wild card team would pull it off last year? And don't come at me with Indy, because they were this good last year and choked when it counted. And Chicago is nice but it's anyone's game.

The saints look good, but Indy look a good bet, I am a Atlanta fan but they look a wild card bet at best

No, no, no. Cactus, it's not the Saints. Where I'm from, we call them the "Ain'ts", the Falcons are the "Failures" and the Bucaneers, or Bucs, are simply the "Yucks".
Especially since the Panthers schooled 'em twice this year. Yesterday's night school session included. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: the Panthers have to stop Michael Vick when playing the Failures because most of the losses the Panthers have taken are to them.

The Saints ain't winning it this year, next year, but after Pitt exposed the defense and ass-raped the secondary, the Saints will be marching to their couches after their playoff loss.

Not claiming they are going to win it all, hell no, but they are a vastly improved team from last year. And like Scream stated with the "Yankees" and "Patriots", sometimes a team does some major damage (in their cases winning it all) after a year of tragedy and adversity.

The Saints ain't winning it this year, next year, but after Pitt exposed the defense and ass-raped the secondary, the Saints will be marching to their couches after their playoff loss. And let's not forget Mr. X-Factor, Reggie Bush. 8 regular season games and 1 rushing touchdown. Not really suprised. Either Reggie is going to be a backup for Deuce McAllister, or he should go to a team who needs a better rusher. Like Miami. Anyway, back to the Panthers. The Panthers have beaten the Yucks twice, the Ain'ts once, and have lost to the Failures. Had Steve Smith been in the lineup in the first two games (the first WAS against Atlanta), the Panthers could be 7-2 or 6-3 at this point instead of 5-4. However, this is about where I suspected they'd be at by the midseason point. They've done well minimizing the injuries. Steve Smith is healthy (-ish), Keyshawn Johnston seems to be a key pickup, Julius Peppers has been playing decent (not exactly breakout superstar, but good), Jake Delhomme is proving why he's one of the most underrated QBs in the game, the running game is starting to warm up, and the secondaries aren't as bad as others. And considering it was the Panthers who beat out the at the time #2 offense in the NFL (the Ravens), they're proving they can win the big games. Now if they can stomp Atlanata, they'll be in line for a postseason run.

^Can someone from the U.K. help me translate that? I was saying that the Saints look good this year, however if i was a betting man I would place money on them winning the superbowl this season. I also stated that whilst I am an Atlanta Hawks fan, i can only see them getting to the play-offs only to fold up and go home like JT and his blind date see's him at dennys

You mean the Atlanta Falcons, mate? Man, I tell you, our brothers across the Atlantic get their American sports teams confused. Maybe you should stick to following the girlie games like soccer, badmitton, and tennis. ;D

The Dolphins do not need a running back, Ronnie Brown needs an offense.

How about them COWBOYSI bet not alot of people gave them a chance of beating the Colts. Granted I was worried after the first half. But that Cowboys defense, after today I have to say they are one of the best, I mean they keep Manning under 20 points, plus get Marvin Harrison to fumble. I say now that the Cowboys will win the NFC East... Hey E2 sorry about your Eagles. McNabb out 8-12 months with a torn ACL. He better not try to hurry back or else you will have another Dante Culpepper on your hands. You might want to think about drafting a quarterback in the draft this year. I think McNabb is slowly but surely breaking down. Last year he had all those injuries and now this year the ACL. Time to look towards a future without McNabb. Might I suggest Brady Quinn from Notre Dame? Now time for a great night game, Chargers vs Broncos. I need to have LT and Gates for the chargers and Walker from the broncos to have great games to give me great fantasy points.. For the record though, I want San Diego to win tonight.

The whole city has pretty much written the Birds off at this point. After starting 4-1 and then tanking to mediocre teams, we pretty much knew it was over. It has been the story of the Philadelphia Eagles for the past 15 years. They start out hot and ready, but they blow it when our hopes are up. It's pretty much the story of every sports franchise in this town.
And as for the fantasy, this was my first time engaging in such a league. I pretty much tanked it several weeks ago with that three game losing streak. Anywho, I'll take your advice, watch the more experienced players like Reaper, Trent and Scream to see how they do it, and then return fresh in 2007. (If I'm still alive by then)
Ciao.

to block the sun, personally I think some just do it as a fashion statement. As for fantasy, next year we need more peeps. It would be cool if we could get 8 or 10.

Another great week for dallas and in particular tony romo, he seems to lead his offense very well, and even seems to get T.O to run slants. Dallas seem to be on a good roll as of late.

Genius because Scream called this before the Saints suprise, breakout season. In any event, there is still hope for the Philadelphia Eagels. We aren't getting too happy here in Philly just yet, because when we do, the worst happens. So we'll wait and see.
