I dont know if anyone will read this, but I am going to start a pregnancy diary. I am going to post weekly and if anything exciting happens, then that will be posted too.
I know it's not something that can be shared by you all, but I just want you to know how the newest member of P2P is getting on!!
Anyway here goes...
I am 16 weeks and 6 days pregnant. My due date is 23.12.04. I am totally convinced I am going into labour on xmas day! I have grown out of my ordinary clothes but maternity stuff is a little too big still. I am at the inbetween stage, I dont look pregnant, I just look fat.
I have started to feel the baby move around and when you feel my tummy, you can feel it all hard under the fat!! The kicks I get arent very strong yet. They will be soon and then I wont be getting any sleep!
The baby itself is about 12cm long. It now has its own fingerprints and toeprints and has all its joints in place

Awwww. I for one am glad you're sharing this. Maybe it'll cure my wanting another baby blues. Hope its ok if I reply. I know when I was pregnant with my second you could see her turn over cause a lump in my tummy would literally move from one side to the other.

Thanks for replying Wench, it does mean a lot to know people ar reading this.
I felt a smaller lump moving last night, and I was so excited, coz it was there one moment, gone the next, but somewhere else in her tummy.
The strangest, yet the most natural emotion in the world.
I loved it

Ok, here is installment number 2. I am sorry it's not been a weekly thing as promised, but I have had real life to deal with!
Today I am 19 weeks and 1 day pregnant. Nearly half way there. On wednesday I am going for my scan to check for any problems. Also if the little one is facing in the right direction we will also find out whether it is a boy or a girl! I think it's a girl to be honest.
I am beginning to fill out. I'm not as big as I was with the others though, which is a good thing I suppose! the baby has started to kick more often and I notice it at night and when I am relaxed. It wriggles a lot more than it kicks though.
I am suffering a little though. My pelvis is killing me, especially at night. So because of that, I now have a limp! It's not funny..well it is just a little i suppose!!
The baby is growing bigger and according to new research into 4D pictures, they reckon that babies can hear as early as 18 weeks. It is down to the reactions the baby has to noise in the womb. That is cool to think my little un can hear me shouting at the bigger uns now!!
Enough for now, will check in on Thursday to let everyone know what I am having
Byee for now

Little update. I went for my big scan yesterday. Everything looks ok and the baby is growing beautifully. We asked if we could find out what sex it was and the little critter had its legs crossed so we couldn't see! We are going to have to wait till xmas to find out now. boo hoo.

Crikey it's been ages since I wrote this. As I can only get on at work and I have changed my shifts, it's been difficult.
Today I am 23 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I have grown HUGE in the past week or so. I am loving it though because I now look pregnant, instead of looking fat like I did before.
The baby moves around lots! If I lie down you can see it and feel it move now. Anthony gets all excited when he feels it wriggle under his hand. I have found that if I eat refreshers it makes the baby move. I think it is because they are effervescent and make my tummy bubble!! It must be very noisy in there for him. He will be classed as 'viable' next thursday which means that if he/she was born they would have a good chance of survival.
It is now the size of a large banana and weighs about 1lb. It is covered in fine hair now, but the experts are not sure why that happens. He gets very lively in the morning and late at night when I go to bed, I hope that doesn't carry on after he/she is born though!!
I promise to keep you posted more regularly from now on.

I'm wanting another baby myself.
Isn't it amazing that if a baby is born that early it can now live, whereas 20-30 years ago it wasn't possible. Granted that doesn't mean one should go and have their babies that early (if they can help it) because the loner they stay in the womb the better.
How is the little one doing now?

It's been ages, I know, but here is the next installement
I am 26 weeks and 1 day today. I feel ok at the moment. I have the odd niggle, including my pelvis, which is killing me!!
The only gripe I have is that I have found a strechmark...............NOT GOOD
I am quite upset because it is at the side of my belly button. On the up side though, I have managed to keep my belly ring in and I am 6 months!! Woo hoo
The baby now is lying across my tummy. He/she has a head in my ribs and kicks the living hell out of my other side. It is amazing to watch my tummy grow and move around, especially when I am in the bath. It does seem to love having a bath, it makes him/her giddy.
It is beginning to feel very heavy when I lie on my back, I can feel the weight of it on my tummy.
Apparently now if he/she was able to uncurl their legs it would be about 38 cms long. They practice swallowing and sucking their thumb (which I think this one will do). I am due to start putting on loads of weight now and I do believe it is starting to happen as I am getting so big.
I went to the midwife on Wednesday. She put the sonic monitor on to listen to the heartbeat. Anthony heard it for the first time and he was amazed. It is beating at about 140 beats per minute. So he/she is a lively little critter.
I will certainly try and post more often on here, I promise
Till next time..byee

That is a really sweet thing to say Spaz, I am touched.
New installment.
Today I am 27 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I think the baby has started to turn. My tum doesn't look as wide and I am running to the loo every five minutes!! On Thursday of last week though, I had a little bleed. I had to go to hospital. Everything was OK but the worst bit of it all was
a....The nurse I saw had the personallity of a tree stump
b....because my blood group is rhesus negative I have to have an anti-d injection if I bleed. They keep it in the fridge, so its freezing, they have to inject it slowly into the muscle and lastly its the texture of treacle! As you can imagine, it bloody hurt.
The baby now responds to my voice and if you rub my tummy when it is moving about it will stop. It also likes to hear Anthony's voice and will wriggle around at that. I have had a foot and a hand poke out which is brilliant, I love to see that.
I am getting very big now and it's becoming very uncomfortable to sleep and to move around. I love my bump very much even though it is getting full of stretchmarks and looks like a road map!

Its really an awesome thing. To think a baby can grow from just 2 single cells from different people. It blows my mind.
