The New ECW has been producing better matches cause they HAVE to spotlight the guys who can actually wrestle, cause of the minimal amount of ECW Talent they have. That's the only reason for that. If more WWE guys get involved, it'll become just like Raw and Smackdown.
As far as Vince's respect for ECW goes, am I the only one that has noticed that EVERY SINGLE ECW Show's main event has included a WWE Guy? And yes, I count Kurt Angle, Big Show, and Ric Flair as WWE guys. The way he's been watered down, I would even say I might consider RVD a WWE guy now.
It's pretty pathetic that Vince thinks the only way anyone would watch ECW is if a WWE Talent is on there. He has zero respect for the show.
Tommy Dreamer should be pushed, not Test. Sabu should be main eventing against Big Show, not Ric flair. ECW Talent should've been going for the ECW Championship on the ECW show, not John Cena and Edge.\

You never proclaimed me your god, and as for Stare, if you want a God that periodically rapes you anally then by all means, worship him.
Although I will point out that I still think the "ECW has been producing better shows lately" is completely bullshit. The ECW shows that the WWE has put on, outside of the first One Night Stand have been shit. Completely shit. It has yet to resemble anything close to ECW. As such the "ECW" logos should be removed and replaced with something else...hell make something up. Its a shame too, because all of us ECW fans were ready put our full support behind this... but now, its just another "could have bee" idea, and I've lost most of the drive I had for it.
Its still better than the crap on Smackdown, but hey I'd rather watch Stare fucking a monkey than Smackdown.

you're still not understand me. I KNOW it's not ECW, I've STATED it's not ECW, but compared to the first WWE-ECW shows, the most recent ones have been better. Mostly because Sabu has been spotlighted in matches, and the World Title picture has been semi-interesting, and what's developing with Dreamer-Heyman seems intriguing.
No, it's not ECW, and it's degrading to their names, I know that.

No I understand you fully, but what I'm saying is that you and a few other folks are too easily swayed by what Vinnie Mac decides to shove down your throat as "quality wrestling programming" and are willing to accept these new ECW shows easier.
While I on the other hand think that what is being done with the show is so disrespectful to a legacy and degrading to the people from the real ECW that I can't allow myself to see it as anything more than a big slap in the face. I'd rather see a Paul Heyman written and produced show on a shoe string budget in some hole in the wall arena.

While you on the other hand think it's disrespectful? Yeah, I said it too.
But, here's the thing, as long as Vinnie Mac is in charge, it's going to be crappy. I'm not accepting what Vince is shoving down my throat. Out of the 5-6 show that have been one, I've seen 3-4 of them. I usually never miss a wrestling show, and I find myself not caring about this one, so I'm not accepting what Vince is shoving down my throat at all.
What you need to start doing is looking at the new ECW for what it is, and that's another WWE show. It's not ECW, and I'll say it once more, it's not ECW. It'll never be ECW. But, for what it is, it has gotten better. Again, I'll say it, cause I know you'll repeat yourself again, IT'S NOT ECW. IT'S WWE. AS far as a WWE program goes, it's gotten better the same way Smackdown or Raw has gotten better at times.
IT'S NOT ECW

ECW or WWE or whatever...I just like that they allow 20 minutes for the main event every show. Also, Show's reign seems to be defined by trying to renew ECW title credibility by facing and defeating well-known WWE superstars, primarily because the WWE fanbase still sees the ECW roster as some d-grade jobbers.
Although, the vampire dude might be getting a shot soon....at least thats what it looks like with the promos.

They have a poll up at ecw.com,
"Do you want to see Kelly's Expose continue on ECW on Sci Fi? Yes 47.01 % No 52.98 % Total Votes: 520859"

What??? You mean to tell me that 52% of the people don't want to see a girl who has no clue what to do on stage? What is this world coming to?

So, Batista vs. Big Show is about to come on, so I figured I'd better go ahead and say this. I think tonight is as close as the weekly show will ever get to being like the old ECW.
Now, let's see how quickly they ruin it with their all WWE main event once again.
CM Punk is the man, and the crowd already knows it. I think the WWE should have it in that arena every week, cause the crowd reminded me of an ECW crowd.

Man that crowd was BRUTAL on the main event.
I like it!! They should do every show in smaller arenas like that one.
Show/Sabu might be good though. One would figure that it would only be a matter of time before ECW semi-separated themselves from the WWE.

The crowd was the only good thing about the main event, "You both suck" and "Change the channel" were my favorite chants.
CM Punk stole the show, I'm glad that he's made it.

yeah, he's the man. If it hadn't been for Sabu, the ending of the show would've been piss poor

CM Punk is the fucking man. He looked genuinely happy to have debuted. That rocks.
Show was good last night, i thought. Main event was funny because of the fans.

SHow has gotten a little better since his transfer to ECW. I'd say he's got more confidence since getting the belt.
Also, I think Test has been remarkebly better since being there. He's been more into his matches, has concentrated on stringing things together, and has been taking good bumps and selling stuff. I think someone doenst want to be unemployed agian.

Y'know ever since I heard Big Show was going to ECW, I was fine with it. It was obvious that they were gonna trade some WWE guys there, and I think Show fits in with the ECW environment.
In all fairness, everybody knows that ECW could be so much better than it actually is, but it's still probably the best show out of the three. They have allowed it to run by not taking fan's signs off of them. I saw a few good ones. "Fertig has AIDS" stuck out. They'd take that off them at RAW or SmackDown!. They've also been letting the chants go ahead too, which is good.
CM Punk is awesome and I'm glad he was over. And I actually mark out for the Vampire. Kevin Thorn, I think he's called. Also known as Keven Fertig and Mordecai. Not sure why, but I think he looks really cool. I heart his entrance music.
