Don't make me repeat myself. This is what I thought before. I may watch him again and think he isn't very good. But, for now I think he is. Anyway, why are you worrying about my opinions on Rene Dupree. Maybe second thought my opinions on Punk or discuss this weeks ECW? I'm not trying to tell you what to do. I just don't like having to repeat myself.

Rene should grow a big curly 'stache and do a 1920's gimmick, at least if he doesn't want to wear kneepads and all.

Sorry for the double post...but, I just finished This weeks edition of ECW and felt inclined to post
Basically the main thing I was surprised about tonight was the Van Dam/Holly match. IMO it was a pretty damn good match for TV, with good use of the traditional Extreme Rules. --Van Dam I think is slowing down in progression..I think he's gotten a bit slower with his traditional flips kicks and jabs but I don't blame him. He's a hardcore athlete and not to mention he's been doing this for at least..what...like 10-15 years? I know a few people have said similar things but give the guy a break, he's still a great performer. --I thought Holly gave a great match tonight. If anyone watched the broadcast they would notice the gaping would he recieved from the table. If anyone says thats fake they can eat their own foot. Throughout the match Holly would continue with according to plan, and personally I couldn't tell it was slowing him down. For a moment I think I became a fan of Bob Holly.. Holly continued to bash rob by flinging chairs at him (even in motion on a 5 star) and so on.. --The fan support at the end I thought was pretty cool for a man of Holly's popularity. You don't see that alot, and face it few people, like me, don't like Hardcore but at the end respect was still there. I was not expecting that
Last thing I will comment on is the Show/Sandman match since it was the ME.. --First off, it was miserably boring for me. I guess after years watching Sandman and years watching the Big Show, you just know what to expect and it did just that. Very Very Slow, except for an "OH MY GOD! BIG SHOW'S BLEEDING!" Big whoop.. --Second, Matt Striker interference. C'mon, you knew it was going to happen! At the beginning of the show with the confrontation with JR/Sandman/Striker you knew Striker would take it away. The same exact thing has been done over, and over again..
If there's something else I've missed, or someone else think's is important..feel free to correct me

THe Holly/RVD match was a very good match. I think it's a great example of how good Holly is, especially to the people that dont like him. I've always thought he was very underrated.
that match lasted 25-30 minutes, and it's nice to see two guys who work for Vince can still go like that.
As for negatives, all I will say is it's a sad day when the Main Event is the worst part of your show.

Agreed. I know Show and Sandman can pull off better matches than that, and I'm not a huge mark for either.
One thing I think ECW should make public more is the Balls/Thorn feud. I think if they developed this more it could really work and actually have a match and not "Ariel interferes, and Thorn canes Balls for the win!". Both are interesting extremists and both I believe are under-rated in ECW. Give this feud more airtime and maybe some proper management and writing and it could possibly be great.

Yea, that was a nasty cut that he suffered tuesday night. I read that it took 25 stitches to close that wound up. Perhaps he will appear on the next batch of commercials where they tell kids not to try this at home.
And as for the whole Thorn vs Balls feud. I am liking it so far. Shame they can't stretch it out for another 2 months. Then they could have had a big blow off match at the first ecw ppv. Have some outrageous gimmick match that fits the personality of Thorn. Also like how they got Francine involved in the angle. She may look a little older, but she still has it. Watch next week or the following there will be a Balls/Francine vs Thorn/Ariel mixed tag match. Typical formula.
Looks like Knox is gonna have to step it up. A feud with C.M. is on the horizon. I wonder how Maria feels about having Kelly hitting on her boyfriend each week? With this being ecwwwe, they probably have that Kelly is setting CM up and then have Maria come over and help her boyfriend.

He's definitely got the work ethic.
And he looks like he's hitting the weight room (the juice) harder than ever now.
And WWE rewards loyalty.
And Big Show needs an opponent besides Sabu.
And Spackle's real name is Robert.

Forgot to put this in last night, but...
Did anyone see a kid with a DX t-shirt and a hat that said "I'm big in Japan" right before the start of ECW?
The main camera guy grazed past our section, and told us we were "going to be on" but I forgot to tape the damn thing.. ____
Anyway, good show. Seeing it Live is much more different than TV, I'll say that first..but I thuroughly enjoyed the latter match. Test and Holly was boring from our point of view (IF you heard "BORING" being chanted, well yea) but Big Show and RVD was worth it.
I thought it was incredibly fake how RVD got boost after boost of energy after every few big moves by the Big Show, but I will say either way the guy is a good Live Action Entertainer.
On a last note...Seeing show Live is nothing like on TV. The guy is a fucking mammoth. I still can't get over it

And Kelly looked incredibly cute.

Show and Test will probably work together in an effort to please Heyman and then one may screw the other. I'm thinking one scenario could have Test screw The Big Show out of the title the way Angle and Heyman screwed him out of the belt at Armaggeddon 2002. I like Test's look and work ethic as of late, and he would, at this point make a realistic ECW Champion.
Another scenario would be to see CM Punk start at the beginning and walk out as champion. My feeling is that WWE still thinks he's too green and won't put the title on him justyet.
RVD and Sabu are possibilities but with RVD getting the title earlier this year and then blowing it big time, I wonder how eager the WWE is willing to forgive and forget. Plus, watching him battle William Regal on my Wrestlemania 18 DVD and watching him wrestle now show me that he has fallen off BIG TIME in terms of in ring skill and awareness. Sabu, at this point, has been turned into a waste.
Holly is loyal; but he's injury prone and draws as much attention as a fire hydrant. I just don't see it happening. I like Test to walk out the winner here giving the Big Show the green light for yet another face turn.
