I read that the ECW guys or at least Big Show are all over the place. What a stupid brand extention when you got the goobers running around on each other's shows. But that's classic look to see RVD do a DJ act.

I hate the new ECW. It isn't the same with people running around each show. ECW should've never revived.

ECW's revival could've worked if the WWE had let it be the real ECW. But, they never even gave it a chance.

I've got to admit that I was pleased with last night's main event. Not the fact that they are dragging The Big Show/Sabu program longer than it should be, but the fact that Hardcore Holly is showing up during the Big match. Talk about a man who has put in his time for the company, returned successfully from surgery and multiple injuries, been there with the company night in and not out, regardless of his name being on the card; it's time for a title run in the main event. I believe a wrestler by the name of John Bradshaw Layfield had those same credentials. Hardcore Holly always brings it in the ring and the New ECW seems to be his fit. A long title run, in the "name of hardcore" is long overdue.

Hardcore Holly has always been, IMO, very underrated. He's decent in the ring, and the only chance at a main run he ever got was against Brock Lesnar, and after that, it was over and he was back in filler-matches.
I think Holly fits well in the new ECW as well.
Also, by the looks on the show, it was more entertainment than ever last night. The WWE should've just started a second Raw show if that was going to be the case.
And the fact that this ECW has matches end in DQ is bullshit. That pisses me off more than anything else that's been done to this new ECW so far.

Hardcore Holly sucks, you're both on crack.

I never thought he sucked. Or, he was at least better than a lot of the guys that got pushed in front of him, but that's almost always the case.
I watch ECW for mainly CM Punk now. That's the only disappointment when I miss a show, that I missed him.

ECW needs a mid card title where punks like CM Punk can become even more credible and elevated. This one World Title thing is reminiscent of WWE 2002 when there was only World Title and a tag title. A lot of potentially-gold athletes got swept under the rug. If Big Show is going for the long haul, which is what WWE seems to be priming him for, a mid card title is needed for the likes of Punk, Test and perhaps Benoit if the rumors of him jumping ship are true.

Seems as if WWE is sticking with Holly showing up during the main event given the run in and battle with Hunter last night. And based on that encounter, DX is looking like the stronger unit. I know this whole feud is McMahon's feud as mentioned elsewhere; and the Hell in the Cell is THE place to end all feuds. But something tells me DX may end this one with the upper hand.

I was just relieved to see DX feuding with someone besides Vince and Shane or the Spirit Squad.
The opening match between Sabu/RVD vs. Test/Knox was a very good matchup.
But, I have to say, no CM Punk = letdown.

ECW sucked last night, due to the lack of CM Punk. I do not want to see him Vs. Shannon Moore because Moore sucks big time. And, i hope that slap didn't mean a heel turn because that seemed very heelish.

But the Striker promo was hilarious. Especially when he cracked on the dead Crocodile Hunter. ;D

Why don't ECW have the T.V and the Tag Team Championship titles back because one title on ECW isn't enough especially when they have signed lots of new wrestlers now?

Well ECW is still in the early stages of being a full time promotion. They still don't have the roster like Raw or Smackdown. They are slowly introducing new characters all the time. I would have to say that most likely around the time of their ppv in December, they might be ready to have a TV title or whatever they decide to call their mid-card title. I could see them having a tournament at the ppv to decide the new TV champ.
As for Tag team titles, I don't see them having them for a long time. Name one tag team in ECW. They have 1. That being the FBI. One team does not a division make. Any other time you see tag matches on ECW its two singles competitors vs two other single competitors.
Right now the world title is the only belt they need. But like I said, by the ppv they will be able to introduce a new title. And I wouldn't be surprised if CM Punk was to be the first one to hold that title. Him or Kevin Thorn.

Okay, at first I thought the idea of this new ECW was terrible and I've said this many times, I saw it as McMahon digging up the corpse of ECW and raping it. But, now it isn't so bad. Sure, it isn't as great as the original ECW but nothing ever will be. That's what everybody needs to think of. They're two entirely different things. But seriously, this new ECW is far better than Raw and Smackdown and the talent they are bringing in is great. C.W. Anderson, Matt Striker, Rene Dupree. And now WWE have signed 2 Cold Scorpio? Wow, now that's just too cold.. I think they have a good thing going. Sandman is swinging his cane around and we actually get to see Stevie Richards. Even if he is jobbing to Mr. C.M Punk. Who, IMO is a sloppy wrestler. He has got some talent and he has charisma. But, he isn't as good as people make him out to be. And Hardcore Holly is there too. I think he fits in well there. Not because he is 'Hardcore' Holly either. It's good to see him making appearences. I think you should all be happy. There is no McMahons (I mean, not every week), No Rey Mysterio crying for 2 hours.I do think they should atleast bring in the tag titles. And retire Raw or Smackdown's tag titles as they really don't do anything with them. It was good when MNM were tag champs on Smackdown but since then they have done nothing. It's quite sad.

^I like the idea of them having tag titles.
Raw and Smackdown seem to be making an attempt at a tag division, but they aren't making anyone care.
However, I will say that putting Cade & Murdoch in the main event on Raw this week was a genious move for the tag division. That's one of the main ways you make people care.

I agreed with everything you said apart from one thing. CM Punk is not sloppy. You can't be sloppy and put on a 5 star match. CM Punk is an excellent worker, the best worker in ECW and possibly in the whole WWE.

How can anyone not like CM Punk. He is an awasome wrestler with MMA stuff he does. I think he is different to the other wrestlers in ECW.

The biggest thing to disapoint me about this new ECW is that is seams like just a dumping ground for guys that couldn't get it done on Raw or SD. The only people getting pushed are the wwe made wrestlers, Sabu, and RVD. I'm getting tired with how CM Punk is getting used, he fights jobbers whenever he has a match, and they're not even trying to give him a character, they're just turning him into 'that drug free guy'. CM Punk is the best wrestler in the whole wwe/ovw/etc, but they've found a way to turn him into a shell of his former self.

Yeah, i know what you mean, dude. When he was approached by Kelly Kelly a couple weeks ago, we saw a glimpse of a character/personality but when he approached Booker he just said he was stright edge etc, which just seemed kinda silly.
The guy needs a feud, and a move to Raw would help.

Smackdown, rather.
I wouldn't want to see a great talent like CM Punk buried behind Cena and DX. (Remember Edge anyone?) At least on the Friday Night show, he'd stand a legit chance to shine. He wouldn't get buried behind attention-seeking son-in laws, born again Christians, or Vince McMahon's pornography material.

You're all entitles to your own opinions and it's easy to see you all like CM Punk. I don't dislike him. He use to be one of my favourite wrestlers. I think RVD got a 5 star match with Jerry Lynn and how sloppy is RVD. He is enjoyable to watch but he is a sloppy wrestler. Saying he is sloppy isn't saying he is talentless. But, best wrestler in the WWE? I could name a truck load of better wrestlers. In just ECW alone, CW Anderson, Stevie Richards, Rene Dupree, Matt Striker. Move to Raw. Charlie Haas, Edge, Shawn Michaels, Shelton Benjamin, Triple H, Val Venis. And Smackdown. Brian Kendrick, Chris Benoit, Finlay, Funaki, Jamie Noble, Kid Kash, Booker T, Paul London, and ofcoarse William Regal who is one of the greatest of all time. You can't put CM Punk above those names. Well, maybe a couple. But, damn. Again, it's my opinion. I know alot of people with the same opinion though.
